What you'll do:

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Manager of Philanthropic Fundraising will serve as the cornerstone of administrative support for ULI’s philanthropic fundraising initiatives in Europe. The role will report to the Vice President, Business Development & Membership on a day-to-day basis and work closely with the Chair of the ULI Charitable Trust and CEO ULI Europe. 

The role will have a functional reporting line to the Chief (Philanthropic) Fundraising Officer. This position requires excellent relationship management, organisational and communication skills. 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide administrative and management support to the philanthropic fundraising initiatives of the ULI Charitable Trust (and the CT Board of Trustees / ULIF Europe Committee) and ULI Europe, including fundraising campaigns, processing collections (through ULI CT or ULI Europe) and preparing donor reports in cooperation with the ULI Finance team in the US.  
• Oversee and coordinate design and development of marketing collateral, presentations supporting fundraising campaigns, in collaboration with the ULI Europe Marketing and Communications team. 
• Collaborate closely with team members of the ULI Europe business Development and Membership team, in addition to ULI’s country directors and governance director to support the planning of, and coordinate the implementation of the European philanthropic fundraising strategy determined by ULI Europe (namely by the CT Board of Trustees / ULIF Europe Committee), focusing on both donations from individuals based in Europe and donations from European philanthropic foundations and government programmes;  
• Work with and manage relationships with individual and institutional donors, in close collaboration with the corporate accounts team, CEO, ULI Europe and the Chair of the Charitable Trust / Chair of the ULIF Europe Committee; 
• Work in close collaboration with Research & Advisory Services and ESG Programmes colleagues, to identify and research (third party) philanthropic funding and grant opportunities and assist in the preparation of applications for philanthropic funding from (third party) foundations and government agencies; 
• Coordination of proposal writing for potential foundation funding, in close collaboration with the research, marketing communications and legal and compliance teams.
• Set up and implement application, reporting and compliance process for philanthropic gifts for ULI Europe. 

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• At least 6-8 years’ experience working in a similar role. 
• Experience working in an international business environment. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

Relationship Management

• Provide tailored, high-quality stewardship to a range of large and medium-sized Trusts & Foundations.
• Identify and pursue new funding opportunities and build relationships with new Trusts and Foundations to further grow this income stream.
• Prioritise research to constantly develop future pipeline.
• Work with Head of Philanthropy and other senior stakeholders in engaging potential funders and managing strategic Trusts & Statutory partners.

Write applications and reports

• Develop compelling funding applications for Trusts and occasionally statutory funders, articulating Resurgo's vision and strategy to persuasively engage new donors with a focus on raising five and six-figure grants.
• Stay ahead of sector trends, media, and political context to market Resurgo's interventions in a compelling way.
• Develop general communications on the work of Resurgo to inspire and update our Trust audience.
• Produce reports and updates on the impact of our work for funders in a timely manner. 

Data Management and Monitoring

• Update our internal database (Salesforce) with all donor interactions, donations and other details ina timely and efficient manner and with strong attention to detail, and analyse data to give insights' and drive future activity.
• Manage the Trusts & Foundations and Statutory pipelines and report on income and other KPIs, and ensure Trusts & Foundations team meets monthly targets and deadlines.

Line Management

• Actively manage and develop the Trusts & Foundations Executive to help them grow personally and in their role.

The role of Senior Hospice at Home Paramedic/Nurse is in place to provide high quality specialist palliative nursing care, skills, advice and support to patients, carers and those important to the patient. This role will support the delivery of planned and unplanned care across Rennie Grove Peace Hospice.
 

You will work across shifts covering 7am-9.30pm. Although based in the community, post holders may occasionally be required to work in other Rennie Grove Peace Care settings in order to ensure adequate staffing levels and to gain experience of the wider hospice delivery of care.

Role overview:

As a member of MTL’s senior management team, you will take responsibility for the organisation’s growth and outward facing initiatives. You will lead and manage the organisation’s portfolio of social mobility leadership strands, and develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders. You will provide dynamic day-to-day leadership for the MTL’s directorate responsible for income generation, impact, research, communications and policy, and ensure the organisation continues to be an exemplar of innovation, integrity and collaboration. You will also be contributing to, implementing and monitoring delivery of the organisation’s strategic plan.

We’re looking for an Evaluation Coordinator to play a key role in delivering our first large-scale Randomised Control Trial (RCT) with the Education Endowment Foundation and the University of Warwick. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in education evaluation, policy and charity delivery.

In this role, you will:

• Coordinate partner colleges and manage trial contracts, invoicing, and onboarding

• Support student data collection, survey administration and attendance tracking

• Liaise with evaluators, internal teams and stakeholders to keep the project on track

• Manage reporting milestones and final data collection in 2026

• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce (training provided)

Essential:

About this role

As a Communications Manager your responsibilities would include: -    

1. Lead, inspire and manage the Communications team to raise the profile of Carers First with multiple audiences and awareness of the issues affecting carers 
2. Develop our digital offer across England to expand our reach and engagement with carers online, helping them to access timely and relevant information.
3. Support the wider Carers First team with the promotion and delivery of projects and events to strengthen our offer and services for carers. 
4. Work with the Director of Income and Engagement, and the wider fundraising team, to support campaigns, events and marketing approaches that increase Carers First’s voluntary income and wider donor engagement
5. Effectively develop and manage a range of stakeholder relationships to deliver the Communications Plan.

About you

To be successful in this role you will need:

Leadership and management 

• At least 3 years of experience in a senior communications position, ideally within the charity or public sectors

• Proven ability to manage both strategy and delivery programmes, balancing long-term objectives with operational priorities
• Superb manager with the proven ability to inspire, motivate, support and lead staff to thrive and create a high performing team and measurable results.

Communications and stakeholder engagement 

• Proven experience of developing and delivering marketing and/or communications plans 

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Skilled copywriter able to communicate messages in a clear and engaging way

IT and digital experience  

• Experience using Canva or similar accessible content creation tools, with an eye for strong visual design and brand consistency
• Ability to simplify systems and processes, particularly spreadsheet-based workflows
• Experience using CRM systems, analytics tools, email marketing software, and social media platforms

Fundraising and project management 

• Previous experience working in support of fundraising campaigns, or relevant marketing approaches 

• Project management experience: leading others to oversee and manage projects, events or campaigns.

Role 1 - Researcher or Senior Researcher (Permanent)

The Fabian Society is hiring a Researcher or Senior Researcher to lead on important, high-impact research projects, engaging directly with the government and stakeholders. You will:

• Develop project ideas and help secure funding from trusts and foundations, unions, charities, businesses and other funders.
• Write research and policy papers.

The Fabian Society is also hiring a Research Assistant on a 12-month development contract to support the new Fabian Housing Centre, as well as wider projects across the research team. 

You will undertake a wide range of activities, and contribute to the development of high-quality research reports, working closely with our Research Manager and Head of the Fabian Housing Centre.
