This role will join an ambitious programme developing the capacity of the Libraries Connected public library networks. We want to help them evolve as strategic partnerships able to deliver social impacts at scale and to secure resources and investment from national, regional and sub-regional government. Be key to the development of libraries as essential social infrastructure, and help them secure the resources they need to make an impact.
The role is part of a small team of two Regional Managers, supported by an Administrator.
By developing our existing regional networks into formal, resourced structures we can enable the regions to:
- Secure investment for the service and for the libraries from regional and devolved / combined authority funds.
- Create unique regional offers to meet specific needs across and within the regional areas.
- Deliver at scale. For example, the Yorkshire & Humber regional network has 15 library services, and 348 library buildings.
- Create opportunities for cost saving – through joint procurement and shared / collaborative services.
- Share good practice and experience on a formal and integrated basis.
We have 9 regional networks in England, covering all library services and ranging in size from 9 to 33 services. Within each region they provide hundreds of library branches, thousands of staff, and serve millions of service users. They have a long tradition of working together as peer support networks and to deliver activities such as festivals, marketing, and staff training.

- Lead the co-development of evidence-based policy positions with iHV’s clinical team, members and partners.

About you:
We are looking for the following essential skills and experience:
- Strong understanding of UK policy-making processes and child and family health/ early years policy – ideally informed by experience working within or closely with government or public sector organisations.
- Exceptional writing skills, with a proven ability to produce authoritative, high impact briefings, reports and policy documents that are clear, persuasive and tailored to diverse audiences.
- Highly developed analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and evidence from multiple sources and translate this into clear, practical and actionable policy recommendations.

Your role
As a Philanthropy Manager, you will be tasked with focus on the following areas:

Role Overview
We are looking to appoint three Programme Officers, who will be responsible for supporting programme delivery and programme operations at the Reach Foundation.

Role 1: Programme Officer (Leadership)
This includes our x100 programmes across the West, East, Yorkshire and Greater Manchester, our leadership programme with A Million Realities, and newly established place based leadership programmes for heads and executive leaders.
Role 2: Programme Officer (Cradle-to-Career)
This includes our Cradle-to-Career catalyst, foundations and leadership programmes (which are each distinct phases of our Cradle-to-Career core offer), our Accelerator programme, and a number of bespoke Cradle-to-Career catalyst programmes run directly for partner organisations.
Role 3: Programme Officer (Educational Breakthroughs)
Helping to launch our newest strand of work, developing and growing ‘educational breakthroughs’ that enable all children to enjoy lives of choice and opportunity. This will include delivery of existing elements of our ‘breakthrough portfolio’ (Languages for All, developing mapping/ data tools to support local breakthroughs, re-imagining key stage 3 for Lift Schools) and supporting new clients as we begin partnerships with them.
Each role has a distinct portfolio of programmes you will support, but the duties, skills and capabilities required for each role are aligned. We expect the three Programme Officers to work together closely to ensure consistency of delivery across our work, to share learning and to develop a community of practice.
You will work closely with the Directors responsible for each programme, alongside our Events and Operations Officers, who work across all programmes, to ensure our programmes are planned and delivered to a high standard.
The role of the Programme Officer has three core areas of responsibility:
1. Programme Planning and Project Management

Project manage multiple, simultaneous programmes across the portfolio with rigour. Work with other programme managers to embed consistent programme management across our organisation.

Work with the Events and Operations Officers to complete the annual calendar-setting process, setting event dates and key programme milestones. Ensure all events are appropriately staffed.

Utilise Asana to monitor project milestones, proactively identify off-track delivery risks, and lead status updates during programme meetings to ensure timely intervention.

Champion the use of HubSpot (CRM) and set up progress dashboards alongside evaluation colleagues.
2. Programme Delivery

Improve (or establish) processes that ensure that every participant on our programmes has a great experience from the moment they find out about us, to when they exit working with us.

Manage the main programme inbox, serving as the responsive, warm, and professional first point of contact for routine enquiries from participants and external partners

Coordinate regular, high-quality programmatic communications (e.g. programme blasts or event invites) to keep participants informed and engaged throughout the year. You may author these, or work with others to ensure they are circulated in a timely manner.

Ensure all programmatic data collection is in line with GDPR guidelines.

Support in programme administration tasks, such as preparing papers for steering group meetings, taking minutes and circulating actions.

Actively participate in cross-organisational reviews, sharing delivery insights in order to improve the quality of our work.

Programme-Specific Deliverables:
Participant Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead the end-to-end application and onboarding journey for new programme cohorts, including coordinating assessment or sign up windows, distributing welcome materials, and managing intake data.
Coaching Offer Management: Act as the end-to-end operational lead for the leadership coaching offer, managing coach-matching logistics, scheduling, and tracking completion rates.
Contract and Agreement Tracking: Administer the distribution and tracking of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ensuring signed copies are received prior to delivery.
3. Stakeholder and Relationship Management

Coordinate the operational onboarding of new bespoke partners, guiding both internal and external senior stakeholders through this initial phase

Invest deeply in building strong, warm, and respectful relationships with senior external stakeholders across identified bespoke partnerships, acting as a point of contact for any queries and ensuring excellent customer service

As a MAG Programmes HR Manager, you will provide trusted generalist HR advice and support to our programmes across Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Sahel West Africa. Working with Regional Directors, Senior Managers in Country and local HR teams, you will advise on complex people issues and change, strengthen in-country HR and manage risk across varied legal and cultural contexts. You will directly support Eastern Europe and Latin America and the Caribbean and line manage the HR Advisor supporting Sahel West Africa. You will be responsible for supporting effective decision-making, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and providing expert governance support to the Board, Committees and Executive Team.
This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on delivery and is ideal for someone who enjoys driving good governance while ensuring operational excellence.
This is a fixed-term role for 9 months due to organisational planning requirements.

The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Fundraising Manager to grow support for our work in the UK and internationally.
You will lead the implementation of our 2026–2028 fundraising strategy, develop compelling supporter journeys and creating inspiring propositions that connect donors with the difference their generosity makes. What You will do:

We are looking for a passionate and inspirational individual to lead our Patient Support service across Scotland & Northern Ireland. Operating at the second line of defence (L2), the role delivers independent oversight, guidance, and constructive challenge, strengthening risk management and compliance across the organisation. Every successful bid helps GamCare secure the public-sector contracts and funding needed to keep vital gambling harms support services running and to reach more people who need help. We are now seeking an experienced Bid Manager to lead and strengthen our bid function at a pivotal moment, as gambling support in Great Britain moves to a new statutory commissioning model.
GamCare is the leading provider of information, advice and support for people affected by gambling harms. We deliver the 24/7 National Gambling Helpline, treatment services, prevention programmes and targeted community support across Great Britain. With new opportunities commissioned through bodies including NHS England, OHID, Integrated Care Boards and Local Authorities, this role will help us demonstrate our impact, grow our reach and keep essential support available.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You will manage the full tender process, from identifying and qualifying opportunities through to submission, review and mobilisation support. Working with senior leaders, service teams, Finance, Data, Marketing and external partners, you will write and coordinate persuasive, compliant bids, develop clear win themes, and turn complex service models and evidence into compelling funder-focused narratives.
We are looking for an experienced bid or tender professional who can help GamCare compete confidently in a statutory commissioning environment, with a strong track record of writing and managing successful public-sector submissions. You will bring excellent writing and editing skills, strong project management, confidence working with internal experts and external partners, and a good understanding of public procurement. Experience of statutory tenders, NHS or Local Authority commissioning, health or social care, public-sector frameworks, social value, financial modelling or gambling harms would be helpful.

The role can be Great Britain home-based or London hybrid. Due to the nature of the role, regular travel to the London office and attendance at stakeholder or market engagement events, including face-to-face meetings, will be required. As a guide, home-based colleagues attend the London office around one day per fortnight, and London-based colleagues around one to two days per week. Flexible and part-time working will also be considered. We will consider reasonable adjustments where required.

The Woodland Trust is looking for a The Head of Estate and Programmes - Scotland. They will lead the Trust’s estate and programmes team in Scotland, ensuring that the estate and associated programmes are managed to the highest professional standards and in accordance with the Woodland Trust’s management approach, policies and standards. They will lead the development of the Treescape programme and other priority programmes as required and develop and manage strategic partnerships in support of the Trust’s work in Scotland.
The Role:
- Lead and oversee the Woodland Trust’s Scottish estate, ensuring woodlands are managed to the highest professional, environmental and compliance standards, including UKWAS accreditation.
- Drive delivery of the Trust’s Treescape Programme in Scotland, building effective partnerships and ensuring strategic objectives are achieved.
- Manage and inspire a high-performing team of site managers, project leads and programme staff, fostering a culture of accountability, development and collaboration.
- Oversee multi-disciplinary projects and a budget of approximately £5m, ensuring resources are managed effectively and deliver maximum value and impact.
- Provide strategic leadership on estate acquisitions, disposals and land management, supporting the growth and long-term sustainability of the Trust’s woodland portfolio.
- Champion health and safety and operational excellence across all estate activities in Scotland, ensuring compliance and best practice at all times.
- Build and maintain influential relationships with partners, funders, stakeholders, government bodies and the wider land-use sector to advance the Trust’s vision and objectives.
- Contribute to senior leadership and organisational strategy, representing Scotland within the Woodland Trust and supporting UK-wide initiatives, policy development and knowledge sharing.
- This is a homebased role, requiring regular travel to locations within wider Scotland, sometimes to remote locations. You would be expected to live within reasonable travelling distance of your area of responsibility. Occasional travel to regional offices and overnight stays will be required.
- A company vehicle will be provided for this role. Please note that out Company Vehicle Policy is also under review as part of our Job Families and Contract Review project, so the eligibility criteria therein are subject to change in due course.
The Candidate:
- Extensive experience in forestry, woodland and land management, with a strong understanding of native woodland management, Scotland’s land-use landscape and rainforest ecosystems.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead, motivate, develop and inspire multidisciplinary teams to deliver high performance.
- Strong project, programme and budget management expertise, including oversight of complex initiatives, resource allocation, monitoring and reporting.
- Commercial and operational management experience, including procurement, contract management and delivering value for money while achieving organisational objectives.
- Exceptional partnership and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience building strategic relationships across government, funding bodies, landowners, conservation organisations and other key interest groups.
- Excellent communication and influencing abilities, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders, preparing written reports, presenting ideas and supporting successful funding applications.
- Knowledge of legal, policy, and governance frameworks, including experience developing and managing legal agreements and understanding Scotland’s conservation, forestry and land-use policy environment.
- Relevant professional qualifications and practical capability, including a forestry-related qualification, membership (or working towards membership) of the Institute of Chartered Foresters, strong IT skills (including MS Office and GIS) and the ability to travel extensively.
