One day you might be creating content for our social media channels, and the next you might be welcoming a Minister to the office.
We are looking for a team-player with excellent written, verbal and digital communication skills. You’ll need to have good attention to detail and be proficient in social media and video production.
You’ll also need to be willing and able to help upskill our volunteers to be able to produce social media content. Being a national organisation across two countries, this role may require some travel to get out and about and support our members.

We’re looking for a bold and caring professional to join us as a Wellbeing Coach for Children and Young People. If you have experience of supporting young people with their mental health and wellbeing, this could be the job for you!
You will deliver predominantly one to one wellbeing coaching with some group support to children and young people. Ideally you will have some experience of using coaching and CBT techniques such as guided self-help, psychoeducation and thought challenging.
You will have excellent communication skills and experience of working in partnership with other stakeholders to deliver projects. This innovative and exciting safeguarding officer role will build on our current provision to collaborate on safeguarding across several church denominations to ensure a safe, relevant and caring Church safeguarding environment for all. You would be working for Churches Alive in Mann (CAiM) as part of their ecumenical partnership, providing safeguarding support and services for the four denominations who are the lead contributing partners in this initiative (Roman Catholic Church, Church of England, Methodist Church and the Living Hope Community Church).
The ideal candidate will have:
- A relevant professional qualification or the equivalent (for example, in social care or criminal justice), with current professional registration where applicable.
- The ability to transfer good safeguarding practice to a non-statutory organisation, working with colleagues from a non-safeguarding background and achieve good safeguarding outcomes in that context.
- Experience in developing effective new ways of working for an organisation.
- Experience in cases involving the protection and safeguarding of children and/or adults, with at least some of that experience gained in a statutory agency.
- Experience of working with victims, survivors and perpetrators of abuse.
- Experience of assessing risk.
- The ability to be self-reflective, welcoming feedback from others.

Role Overview
We are seeking a Head of Policy and Community Engagement to lead our policy advocacy and community engagement initiatives. This role is crucial in helping our members develop a collective voice, influence policy at both local and national levels, and drive long-lasting, systemic change. The successful candidate will work closely with London-based members and grassroots organisations, convening and facilitating opportunities to develop a unified and impactful voice and advocate for systemic change on key issues such as climate justice and resilience, employment inequality and economic inclusion, particularly in the context of public sector investment and the green economy. They will have a passion for human rights, equality and social justice, and strong policy advocacy and stakeholder engagement experience.

Support Member Voice: Facilitate opportunities for our members (and their networks) to develop a unified and impactful voice on key policy issues.

NAPAC is seeking Call and Email Handlers for our support services in Stockport
NAPAC provides the only free national support service for adult survivors of all types of childhood abuse. We offer specialist, confidential support to all adult survivors of any type of abuse, operated by experienced staff and trained volunteers.
NAPAC works closely with the criminal justice and public health sectors. We support survivors to navigate and understand their options with criminal and civil law, and in healing and recovery. Choice is key, and our website provides a lot of free information for survivors and those supporting them.
As a trusted public-health organisation, people use NAPAC’s services to support their overall health and wellbeing, to build and improve their resilience, and to be able to make brave, positive choices every day – including asking for help when they need it.
Those using our services ask for support with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, isolation, navigating relationships, dissociative identity disorder, reporting to the police, domestic and sexual violence, boundaries, and complex post-traumatic stress. For many, contacting NAPAC is a first step to recovering from trauma and leading happier, more fulfilled lives.
NAPAC support service often hear from adult survivors that are disclosing their childhood abuse for the very first time, so sensitivity, safety and confidentiality are highly important.

As a support line Call Handler, you will be a key member of our dedicated team, providing emotional support and a safe environment for callers with a wide range of complex issues.
NAPAC offers full training and hands-on support for call handlers with every call they receive. You will use the knowledge and skills you’ve developed through our training to explore issues relating to childhood abuse and it how it effects adulthood and signpost callers to relevant resources and services that can provide more in-depth support. Calls are caller-led, and you will be there to empower each caller to take back control in their lives.
We are looking for someone who is empathetic and resilient with a real passion for supporting people through their healing journey. We want our team to reflect the diversity of the people we support, and actively encourage applicants with different lived experience.
Key Responsibilities:
· Follow confidentiality and safeguarding policies
· Provide appropriate signposting to external services in accordance to callers identified needs.
· Ensuring that key record keeping is maintained to the required standard and contributing to service monitoring requirements
· You will have the emotional resilience to be able to support individuals who may be severely distressed, experienced trauma, and people who may be at risk of harm.
· The ability to think on your feet to support callers who may call during panic attacks or flashbacks

Hours: 17.5 per week (0.5 FTE) to be worked flexibly across the week in person. Remote and hybrid working is not available for this role.
Contract: One year, with possibility of extension subject to funding.
