The UK Cyber Security Council works to bring together stakeholders to build and drive engagement in the cyber security profession, through developing standards and ethical practice, demystifying career routes into the profession and promoting the profession.

In collaboration with multiple UK Government departments and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), our approach is to co-ordinate existing programmes and shape new initiatives, in support of the ambition to make the UK the safest place to live and work online.

4. Main Duties and Responsibilities 

· To lead the delivery of the organisations marketing and communications (marcomms) strategy plan.

· To lead the development of strategic marketing and communication plans across all programmes, products and services.

· To ensure that marketing and communications across the organisation reflect and align with the UK Cyber Security Councils brand, vision, mission and values.

· To oversee and deal with brand governance issues and to drive, manage and implement marketing solutions and promotions that support agreed brand awareness targets.

· To manage our digital and social media channels and to ensure that all programmes and services are promoted effectively through these channels.

· To write high quality content, briefs, press releases and social media posts as part of our marcomms requirements.

· Working with the leadership team to develop a plan and process for internal communications across the Council.

· To lead on collaboration with licenced bodies and partners on joint marcomms and promotions

· To maintain an awareness of the Council’s strategy and wider cyber security landscape and propose content that will speak to key audiences.

· To update the website content on a regular basis as the window to the organisation.

· To work with internal and external colleagues to agree marketing and communications strategies for each programme and support the delivery of e-marketing and social media campaigns.

· To lead on the delivery of consistent, branded marketing collateral – print and digital in support of identified brand awareness targets.

· To lead on promoting our events management activities working closely with internal and external colleagues.

· To develop and evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data to ensure that annual marcomms plans remain refreshed and up to date.

· To work with senior managers to develop annual engagement targets based on

· To prepare progress reports as required for the Chief Executive and/or Board of Trustees.

About the role

We are looking for someone in our London/Brussels/Berlin offices with strong charity sector experience to help drive practical change in compliance, tools, and systems. Meet your Manager

In this role, you will be managed by Laura Mertsching. Laura joined ClientEarth in 2022 and is based in London. For 2.5 years, Laura has been focussed on improving our policies, processes and tools to improve funder compliance and efficiency, and working in collaboration especially with fundraisers, internal legal council and finance staff. At the beginning of 2025, Laura was seconded to lead a cross-departmental project to align internal systems, processes and tools, which is why she is hiring a support role at the moment to drive forward key initiatives of her original role. Laura is an experienced project manager with experience working in the humanitarian and international development sector for more than five years before joining ClientEarth.

Main Duties

• Contributing to the delivery of the global Fundraising Strategy through driving improvements of relevant policies, processes and tools along the entire funding management cycle ensuring effective and efficient internal operations
• Effectively plan and deliver priority initiatives (including policy revision, risk matrix tool development, streamlining corporate income processes) collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure that relevant perspectives are incorporated and work with their line manager on effective prioritisation
• Enable effective decision-making across ClientEarth’s existing and continuously growing funding portfolio, and occasionally review new funding agreements and advise staff during the contracting process

We have recently launched our new CRM based on Microsoft Dynamics 365, and are looking for a CRM Manager to join an end user Charity in Central London. The Charity has a direct front end CRM user base of around 30 staff. It also has a power platforms bespoke portal for between 64-120 regional staff to login to, who contribute to the membership programme, creating new memberships and managing the renewals process which happens each year. It also has a power portals Donation portal which directly integrates to Dynamics 365 and Business central. This role is to support our internal staff (30) and external Staff (120) with the day to day activities ensuring business processes are fit for purpose and seek out possible improvements in the long term roadmap.

Key Functional Areas

• Data architecture– Lead on the review and structure of data on CRM.
• Systems Governance - Ensuring system best practices are followed, producing dashboards to identify common errors to follow up with users offering tailored training for common issues.
• Training and Support - training of new members, ongoing training and refreshing areas where common issues are found in regular training sessions all staff and portal users can attend.

Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern

This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Staff are required to work an aggregate minimum of 90 days per calendar year (pro rata for part timers) at our Head Office, Mary Sumner House in central London. Details of the role

You will design and deliver Jangala’s monitoring, evaluation and data analysis activities. The role will report to Jangala’s Head of Programmes and be a member of the Jangala’s programmes department which leads on the delivery of Jangala’s donor-funded programmes in the UK and internationally, deploying Jangala’s award-winning technology and developing partnerships with community groups and grassroots organisations, charities, local authorities and the United Nations.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing Jangala’s M&E and data analysis systems across UK and international projects, aligning with our 2030 Vision and Theory of Change, as well as donor requirements

• Design and deliver engaging tutor attraction campaigns, creating compelling content and managing social media outreach
• Plan and deliver recruitment events (e.g. webinars, careers fairs, university drop-ins), building strong external partnerships
• Manage the front end of the recruitment pipeline, ensuring candidates have a smooth and supportive journey
• Coordinate and oversee internal assessment centres, interviews, and scheduling
• Line manage a small team of screeners and assessors
• Use CRM systems such as Salesforce to track applicants, evaluate performance and improve the recruitment process
• Support wider organisational recruitment as required, including for central team roles

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong commitment to Get Further’s mission and values
• Knowledge of graduate recruitment, marketing or advertising strategies
• Previous experience in recruitment or marketing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems creatively
• Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
• A collaborative team player with a flexible approach
• Committed to safeguarding and data confidentiality

Desirable

• Experience using recruitment platforms or applicant tracking systems
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM software
• Knowledge of the further education or university sector
• Experience in or passion for the charity sector
