2. About us:
The UK Cyber Security Council works to bring together stakeholders to build and drive engagement in the cyber security profession, through developing standards and ethical practice, demystifying career routes into the profession and promoting the profession.
In collaboration with multiple UK Government departments and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), our approach is to co-ordinate existing programmes and shape new initiatives, in support of the ambition to make the UK the safest place to live and work online.
We are also a membership organisation, with corporate members, who share our interest in promoting, supporting and developing the cyber security profession.

4. Main Duties and Responsibilities
· To lead the delivery of the organisations marketing and communications (marcomms) strategy plan.
· To lead the development of strategic marketing and communication plans across all programmes, products and services.
· To ensure that marketing and communications across the organisation reflect and align with the UK Cyber Security Councils brand, vision, mission and values.
· To oversee and deal with brand governance issues and to drive, manage and implement marketing solutions and promotions that support agreed brand awareness targets.
· To manage our digital and social media channels and to ensure that all programmes and services are promoted effectively through these channels.
· To write high quality content, briefs, press releases and social media posts as part of our marcomms requirements.
· Working with the leadership team to develop a plan and process for internal communications across the Council.
· To lead on collaboration with licenced bodies and partners on joint marcomms and promotions
· To maintain an awareness of the Council’s strategy and wider cyber security landscape and propose content that will speak to key audiences.
· To update the website content on a regular basis as the window to the organisation.
· To work with internal and external colleagues to agree marketing and communications strategies for each programme and support the delivery of e-marketing and social media campaigns.
· To lead on the delivery of consistent, branded marketing collateral – print and digital in support of identified brand awareness targets.
· To lead on promoting our events management activities working closely with internal and external colleagues.
· To develop and evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data to ensure that annual marcomms plans remain refreshed and up to date.
· To work with senior managers to develop annual engagement targets based on
increased engagement and influence.
· To measure and report performance of all marketing activity, assessing against
targets, together with other relevant metrics and analytics.
· To prepare progress reports as required for the Chief Executive and/or Board of Trustees.
· To ensure effective data management concerning members and supporters to ensure that GDPR compliance is maintained at all times.
· To represent the Council in a professional manner and to act at all times in a manner which will not damage its reputation.
· To undertake other tasks from time to time as required by the Leadership Team.

· Experience and willingness to be hands on in content development and production including graphic design of marketing collateral
· Experienced in copy writing, proof reading and editing content
· Experience of content management systems (CMS)

Job Purpose:
The Fundraising Manager (Grants & Trusts) will be responsible for developing and implementing a successful fundraising strategy focused on trusts, foundations, and statutory grants. They will identify new funding opportunities, build relationships with funders, and write compelling applications that align with St Bride Foundation’s mission and strategic priorities.
This role is crucial in securing core funding, project-specific grants, and capital funding, enabling us to expand our heritage, learning, and community engagement programmes.
This role will be closely involved in projects that, under our new vision and mission, aim to transform SBF into a contemporary institute serving the creative industries, researchers and the wider public. The role will suit someone with a passion to take on challenges with the aim of creating a cultural hub fit for the 21st century.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Grant & Trust Fundraising
- Develop and implement a revenue and capital fundraising strategy, identifying compelling propositions and packages, and setting and securing agreed targets.
- Research and identify trusts, foundations, and grant opportunities aligned with our mission.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of funding prospects, ensuring a strategic and proactive approach to fundraising.
- Write and submit high-quality, compelling funding applications for core, project, and capital funding.
- Track and meet application deadlines, ensuring compliance with funder requirements.
- Work with the Board of Trustees to establish and manage a Fundraising Committee.
2. Relationship Management & Stewardship
- Build and maintain strong relationships with grant funders, trustees, and key stakeholders.
- Prepare engaging impact reports, updates, and presentations for funders.
- Ensure timely and effective stewardship and recognition of funders, increasing long-term support.
- Building internal relationships to developing an understanding of the work/projects and funding needs.
3. Strategy & Income Growth
- Develop and implement a trusts and grants fundraising strategy, setting targets and KPIs to maximise income.
- Work as part of the Senior Management Team to align funding applications with strategic priorities.
- Identify opportunities for multi-year funding and partnerships that provide sustainable income.
4. Compliance & Reporting
- Prepare regular reports on fundraising activities, including progress towards goals, donor acquisition, and retention rates.
- Ensure all grants and funding received are managed effectively, with clear budgeting and financial reporting.
- Maintain up-to-date records of applications, funding received, and reporting deadlines.
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Management team to ensure effective grant delivery and reporting.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Several years of proven experience in trusts and grants fundraising, with a track record of securing funding from foundations, trusts, and statutory bodies.
- Strong research and prospecting skills, identifying the right funders for key projects.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, able to create compelling grant applications and reports.
- Experience in relationship management, with the ability to engage funders and maintain long-term partnerships.
- Ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of budgeting and financial reporting for grant-funded projects.
- Knowledge of the charity sector and fundraising best practices.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

What the job involves
We’re looking for a Data Operations Executive to join our Data Import Team in our wider Customer Engagement and Experience Team. This role is an integral part of the team who support the important work of the organisation as well as representing and delivering value to all our audiences, both internal and external.
In this role, you’ll get involved in a variety of important database activities — from handling large data imports and automated routines, working with personal and financial data, to making sure customer relationships are maintained by managing queries and interactions from different sources. You’ll be responsible for coding, resolving and importing bulk data exceptions into our Raiser’s Edge database using tools such as Message Broker ETL and ImportOmatic, as well as managing ad hoc manual data imports from platforms like Just Giving, Benevity and Everyclick.
You’ll use our CRM and other platforms to work with live data from our donors and supporters. This includes monitoring data feeds, downloading and uploading regular data files, and reporting any issues to the Data Import Manager. You’ll also play an active part in maintaining and improving data quality through regular housekeeping, data cleansing and updates, helping to ensure everything’s accurate, consistent and compliant with GDPR, Gift Aid regulations and internal policies.
As a key link between the Customer Experience Team and the database team, you’ll support positive customer experiences and help keep information flowing smoothly across the organisation. You’ll also assist with internal data requests, contribute to wider organisational projects and provide training and guidance on database processes to team members and other staff.
This role is fixed term for 12 months covering maternity leave.
What we want from you
We’re looking for a Data Operations Executive with good customer communications and a positive, proactive approach to team activities, problem-solving and time management.
Ideally, you’ll have experience working with a CRM database — Raiser’s Edge would be a bonus — and be confident inputting, processing and managing data accurately. Experience with import utilities like ImportOmatic or similar tools, along with an understanding of income processing and Gift Aid, would be an advantage. You’ll also have excellent attention to detail and be used to handling high volumes of work while maintaining accuracy and focus.
A good communicator, you’ll be confident explaining technical or data-related information to a range of audiences in a clear and professional way, both in writing and over the phone.
You’ll work closely with our experienced data professionals on exciting projects using new technology and digital channels, taking responsibility for daily and weekly activities while contributing to new initiatives and business objectives. A good team player, you’ll also be able to work on your own initiative.
You’ll help us to achieve our ambitious performance goals within the team, and as an organisation, supporting and improving the lives of all of those affected by or at risk of prostate cancer.

The Hospice has invested in digital development. The Director of Media and Digital income oversees income to the value of £400k with a trajectory for growth. This includes all appeals, promotion of established products like legacy giving and matched funding programmes. The legacy pipeline was redesigned in 2024 with an award winning film “I will 1%” inspired by the work of Richard Ratcliffe. The Hospice is one of over 100 Hospices working with Hospice UK to promote legacy funding at a national and local level with a combined campaign. Investment for the future means The Hospice has a centrally managed people and systems team, this includes management of our CRM (Donify), enabling the Executive Team report on KPIs with internally triangulated data for better decision-making. The Hospice is also working with Finegreen to recruit an interim Head of Philanthropy to review the approach to philanthropy to date and make clear recommendations. A third party will deliver market research to update intelligence on current and potential markets for supporters. With innovation at its core, The Hospice has embedded ‘everyone’s a fundraiser’ into the organisational culture. This includes an embedded fundraiser in clinical services for a faster response whenever a person receiving care and support expresses an interest in becoming a fundraiser. As our Director of Fundraising, you will be an innovative strategic leader, a people person who combines humanity with data driven decision-making. Your role includes leading an experienced team to deliver over £2.5m in income annually and steward £1m in legacies, with the opportunity to make your own appointments to lead philanthropy. As part of the strategy of the Hospice your business case development will deliver an additional ≥£1m by 2028, in a trajectory for growth. An adept storyteller with a passion for Hospice care – you will lead strategic partnerships, working cross sector and operating effectively at Board/Committee. You will be accountable for identifying, testing and implementing fundraising approaches not typically used to date in the sector, including new philanthropy, donor advised funds and social investment models with a pipeline for delivery of new income. Support the Engagement and Logistics Lead to ensure the delivery team is well-trained, motivated, and equipped to deliver high-quality engagements. Oversee the development of fair and forward-planned rotas, and ensure any unassigned delivery capacity is allocated in a way that maximises value for CSC while supporting individual development and growth.

The trustee’s Finance and Risk Subcommittee formed two years ago and a new trustee position of Treasurer is currently being recruited. The Finance Manager will service and attend the subcommittee’s quarterly meetings and be the main contact point with the Treasurer between meetings.

JOB PURPOSE: The Public Affairs Manager will manage the implementation of ParalympicsGB’s policy & public affairs strategy, including managing a targeted contact programme with politicians, civil servants and stakeholder organisations. The role will also play a key role in supporting the organisation’s approach to influencing public policy in sport, disability and education and deliver Games’ time guest programmes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Public Affairs and Stakeholder Engagement
- Manage the implementation of the public affairs strategy, with support from the Head of Social Impact and Director of Communications & Social Impact, reporting back to the Senior Leadership Group on the outcomes achieved.
- Work with the CEO, Director of Communications & Social Impact and Head of Social Impact to implement a stakeholder engagement plan building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholder such as politicians, Government departments, ParalympicsGB’s members, sport and disability organisations, and the education sector.
- Coordinate ParalympicsGB colleagues to execute a contact programme with relevant stakeholders including Government Ministers, MPs and Peers, Civil Servants and Stakeholder organisations from ParalympicsGB’s membership and the wider sport, education and disability sectors.
- Monitor and analyse upcoming relevant policy and legislative developments and activities and identify opportunities for influence including drafting responses to parliamentary, government and other consultations.
- Represent ParalympicsGB externally to raise awareness and strengthen our reputation with key policy makers, decision-makers, and relevant public affairs networks. Reporting back to colleagues on the content of meetings and arranging follow-ups as appropriate.
- Prepare high-quality briefing materials for political audiences and senior internal stakeholders to support influencing priorities.
- Organise and support delivery of a series of Westminster based events and activations to support our Public Affairs strategy, including events to raise awareness of ParalympicsGB’s relevant social impact programmes e.g. Equal Play and Community Sport initiatives.
- Contribute to stakeholder engagement around the promotion of Stoke Mandeville as the birthplace of the Paralympic Movement.
- Administer the Paralympic Games guest programme for Government Ministers, Royal Patron and key stakeholders linked to social impact and international relations.
Policy
- Lead the coordination of ParalympicsGB responses to relevant Government consultations and other stakeholder responses.
- Lead the research, manage consultation with key stakeholders, and draft policy papers with regards development of ParalympicsGB’s policy papers in line with the social impact strategy, particularly around education (Equal Play), community sport, and disability.
Social Impact
- Work with the Social Impact team on communicating public affairs opportunities to our athletes (as part of the ParalympicsGB Athlete Community) and connecting social impact programmes to political opportunities.
Correspondence, Planning and Databases
- Draft correspondence with key contacts on behalf of the organisation.
- Develop and manage parliamentary and stakeholder contact management database.
- Provide administrative support to the Communications team as required.

The Forest of Avon is one of England’s Community Forests and a registered charity and company limited by guarantee. The Forest of Avon was established in 1992 as one of the first England’s Community Forests and became a charity in 2008. The Forest of Avon hosts several programmes including the multi-million pound Trees for Climate and the Western Forest, delivering woodland creation and restoration across the region as well as our expert-led Nature and Health work. The Head of Finance (HoF) is responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the Forest of Avon Trust which now includes Western Forest, England’s first new national forest in 30 years covering Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and the West of England (including North Somerset).
Our new HoF will manage the charity’s financial systems, preparing accounts, supporting audits, reporting to the Board of Trustees and overseeing and reporting on the financial elements of key programmes such as the Trees for Climate grant scheme and the Western Forest. The HoF also works closely with the team and external stakeholders to expand the charity’s financial capacity, ensuring transparency and effectiveness in all financial activities.
Role Description
Post: Head of Finance, Forest of Avon (including Western Forest)
Salary: £46,305-51,146, with annual pay review
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, flexible work hours
Line manager: CEO, Forest of Avon / reporting to Finance Sub-Group of Board.

Location: Central Bristol. Mainly office based with the option for some home working, as agreed.

Some key duties of the role include (but are not limited to):
- Prepare the annual accounts and financial statements in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Work with the charity’s auditors to ensure the successful completion of the annual audit process.
- Provide monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including budget setting, forecasts, and projections to ensure the Trust’s financial health is consistently monitored, including projects such as Trees for Climate and Western Forest.
- Present financial reports to the Board of Trustees and Western Forest Boards, providing insight and recommendations on financial strategies and growth opportunities.
- Ensure accurate recording of grant agreements, claims processing, and reconciliation of funds in line with grant terms.
- Oversee end-of-year financial reconciliation and reporting for all funding programmes, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and financial policies.
- Provide financial input and support for the management of restricted funds, ensuring all are appropriately allocated and tracked.
The successful candidate will have/be:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with extensive experience in financial management within a charity or non-profit sector.
- Strong experience in preparing accounts, managing audits, and financial reporting.
- Experience with grant management, including financial administration, claims processing, and reporting in relation to large-scale funding programmes.
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide clear insights to the Board and other stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and advise both internal teams and external partners on financial matters.
- Strong organisational skills, with an ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficient in financial software and IT systems, including bookkeeping and accounting platforms.
