UK Youth Outdoor Learning champions targeted inclusive and experiential learning, incorporating the principles of youth work as part of its best-in-class delivery model. The Head of Outdoor Learning Engagement and Delivery supports our Outdoor Learning provision by managing our programmatic focused Outdoor Learning delivery; working in partnership with the Design and Delivery team to embed our youth work approach, and support reaching income targets and raising the profile of our work and our reach to young people. The role will also be responsible for supporting the development of, and leading on, the implementation of a young person co-designed Outdoor Learning youth engagement strategy that showcases our inclusive provision and links to key education policy, i.e., national curriculum or sector impact/research, i.e., Brilliant Residentials Campaign.
Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Outdoor Learning, this role will require a recognised youth work qualification as well as a good understanding of local community networks and the positive impacts of volunteering and Outdoor Learning on wellbeing. They will also have extensive experience of youth engagement and youth participation practices, as well as experience of co-designing a range of events with young people, specifically using a framework of inclusivity. We are hoping to hear from candidates who also have knowledge of the national curriculum, who are self-motivated and able to build and manage positive relationships with stakeholders.

Our Policy, Public Affairs and Campaigns Officers help people with sight loss to live the life they choose by helping to shape evidence-based policy positions and implement campaigns that align with the Guide Dogs strategy. Through our public affairs activity we engage with key political stakeholders and audiences to secure change and impact.
In this role you will have the opportunity shape and develop evidenced-based policy positions, lobby key politicians and officials; draft consultation responses and policy briefings; monitor and respond to parliamentary activity; support the development and implementation of the public affairs strategy; shape campaign plans and mobilise the public and our campaigns supporters and volunteers.
You will have the opportunity to work flexibly across the full span of policy, public affairs and campaigns activities Guide Dogs leads on, working with people across the UK.

The VAWG Operations Manager has responsibility for leading, managing, developing, monitoring and reviewing the operational running of high-quality frontline services to victims of domestic abuse; ensuring that all contractual targets are achieved; initiating, developing and maintaining effective relationships and formal partnerships with organisations within the VAWG sector; overseeing IDVA representation at Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARAC); and implementing and supporting the development of the strategic direction of VAWG services.
