We are seeking an exceptional fundraiser who can offer a strong track record of driving organisational growth in the voluntary sector. Multi-year experience in two or more of the following core service areas is essential:
- Achieving major grant funding from trusts, foundations, lottery distributors, public sector agencies or similar.
- Planning and developing successful contract tender submissions.
- Planning and developing successful fundraising strategies and action plans.
- Major Donor, Legacy or Corporate fundraising strategy and delivery
The role is varied and interesting - managing a portfolio of clients and supporting them directly or strategically with their fundraising, impact evaluation and organisational development. Our consultants are all employees and we work closely together as a supportive team, sharing and developing skills and knowledge. We anticipate the appointee may not hold experience across all core areas of our services. We will enable the appointee to focus on projects that play to their strengths and experience and provide further support and training as necessary.
Based from home (must be UK resident), with ad hoc client and team meetings/socials (all travel paid), mostly within England. All IT equipment provided. Full-time or part-time (minimum 0.8 FTE - 28 hrs).

Our organisation relies on the effectiveness of its ICT in order to provide support to our service users. We have contracts with external providers for our IT, phone, mobile and internet infrastructure.
We are looking for an ICT Coordinator to provide parental leave cover between July and December 2025. The role is primarily based in our Beckenham office and will be part-time, working 22.5 hours per week ideally from Tuesday to Thursday. You will provide a primary technology point of contact for a diversely located workforce who are equipped with both PC and Smartphone technology to help to deliver our services across five London boroughs.
The role requires someone who has excellent people skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft's cloud-based systems. Your new role
As an Education Assistant, you will provide external-facing support for students and internal support services for other staff. Your responsibilities will include handling emails and phone calls, processing student registrations, assisting with exam preparations, and maintaining accurate database entries. About the Role
We are looking for a Helpline Officer to join our small and supportive Services Team. This role is central to delivering high-quality information and advice via our Helpline, and to supporting and working alongside our trained Helpline Volunteers.
The Helpline is a trusted source of support for people affected by ataxia, offering clear, accessible information on a wide range of issues including welfare benefits, accessing grants, and access to health and social care. The role also contributes to the wider development of our Helpline and Advocacy services, helping ensure those who need more in-depth support are connected to the right resources.
This is a part-time role, working 14 hours per week to help deliver our Helpline service. The Helpline currently operates Monday to Thursday from 10:30am to 2:30pm, with plans to extend these hours in the future.

The Service
Newham Together Café is a high paced, out-of-hours mental health service provided by MindTHNR, in collaboration with NHS East London Foundation Trust (NEFLT). It provides a safe space for people who may be experiencing or moving towards a mental health crisis. The service will offer a range of psychotherapeutic interventions including 1-1 support and safety plans, wellness & recovery action plans and therapeutic groups.
Newham Together Cafe has an asset-based approach, focusing on the strengths and coping skills of people using the service, helping them to understand how they could use these strengths to decrease their own distress and promote their wellbeing.
The service at the Café will be co-produced with those who use it as well as with local voluntary, statutory and community-based organisations. The Café strives to be a warm, welcoming and non-stigmatising environment, offering a range of therapeutic activities and a quiet, low sensory space to cater for individual needs and aspirations.
Purpose of the role
The main purpose of this role is to draw upon personal experiences of mental health issues and use these experiences in a positive and enlightening way to support others who are at a crisis point in their recovery journey. You will provide quality support and interventions to those at crisis point or likely to experience a mental health crisis, as an alternative to using statutory crisis services.

Chapter One is a dynamic, growing charity with a vision of a world in which all children have the literacy skills needed to thrive. Our mission is to close the reading gap by providing children with one-to-one support at the time they need it most.
Our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme currently supports around 3,000 children a year. It pairs disadvantaged, struggling five to eight-year old (KS1) readers with reading support volunteers who come from over 140 local and national businesses. The volunteer ask is very focused: readers commit 30 minutes a week to read with a child using a bespoke digital platform for an entire academic year. The results are transformative, boosting children's reading confidence and ability.
Our Volunteer Engagement Department, which the Volunteer Support Assistant role will be part of, ensures that volunteers have everything that they need to make a success of their reading sessions with pupils.

About the Role:
The Volunteer Support Assistant will work remotely and will need to have access to a reliable internet connection. They will report to a senior member of the Volunteer Support Team, working across both the Volunteer Support Team and the Live Chat Team, which together form the Chapter One Volunteer Engagement Department.
This is a part-time role of 30 hours per week, working 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday. The set working hours are 08:00–15:00, with a one hour unpaid break from 12:00–13:00. Please note that these hours are fixed in line with business needs and cannot be adjusted.
This role will be primarily based within the Volunteer Support Team with day-to-day responsibilities while also being fully trained to provide urgent or emergency cover for the Live Chat Team during staff absence or business need.
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check, and the post-holder must be permanently based in the UK at the time of applying and for the duration of their employment.
The required start date for this role is Friday 1st August 2025.

Community Project Lead
- Two-year fixed term, full-time (35 hours per week) or part-time (minimum 21 hours per week considered), £28,000 – £32,000 per annum depending on experience (pro rata if part-time)

IPSEA is the leading charity in the field of SEND law in England, and we provide free and independent legal advice and support to families of children and young people with SEND. We also provide training on the SEND legal framework, and we influence policy at both a local and national level.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Community Project Lead to join our team and lead the development of our advice services for under-served communities. This two-year, fixed-term role is a key part of our strategy to reach groups who may not traditionally engage with IPSEA’s support - including children and families with English as an additional language, cared-for children (children in care), migrant children, detained children, and Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities.
The project builds on a detailed scoping exercise we’ve recently completed, which involved working closely with a wide range of charities and organisations that support these communities. The resulting report outlines the barriers they face, and will form the foundation for this project and directly inform the work you will lead.
What you’ll do

Design and develop pilot advice services that are tailored to the needs of under-served communities, using findings from IPSEA’s research

Build and maintain strong relationships with community groups, charities and service providers to co-produce accessible services

Collaborate with IPSEA’s advice, legal and policy teams to address the barriers these communities face in accessing SEND legal advice

Contribute to and share outreach materials, training resources and toolkits to support families of under-served communities and empower local advocates

Plan and lead workshops, focus groups and community events to raise awareness, gather feedback and enhance service delivery

Monitor and report on project outcomes and impact, providing regular updates to IPSEA staff and stakeholders

About the role:
This is an exciting front-of-house role. As receptionist you will be responsible for greeting every young person as they arrive and ensuring they leave safely. You will also be responsible for the reception area: ensuring young people enter the session smoothly; processing new members; directing phone calls and enquiries; maintaining the membership database efficiently; and carrying out regular communication.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining the reception area and provide a welcoming environment
- Ensure new members are welcomed and introduced to a member of the youth work team
- Overseeing in-depth database management, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and reporting to support operational needs
- Ensure Junior members leave sessions safely in the care of parents

About you:
