First Give 

First Give is a national charity that empowers young people to make a positive difference to the causes they care about. This is an exciting time for First Give, as we have recently launched our three-year strategy and our ambition to activate the generosity of a million young people by 2034. In order to meet the requirements of the organisation for this ambitious growth a new 3 year fundraising strategy has been developed which includes expanding and diversifying our fundraising streams into Corporate and HNWI. We have also recently launched recruitment for a Fundraising Campaign Board Chair. The Campaign, A Route to A Million, aims to raise an additional £1.5 million over the next 3 years. We are also embarking on an ambitious regional growth strategy to grow and deliver our programme to more young people than ever across England and Wales.

Team Administrator

We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and motivated administrator who would like a varied role.  The successful candidate will provide cross-departmental support and administrative support to the Director and Senior Leadership Team. There is real scope for the candidate to shape the role and gain experience from involvement in various organisational projects. Contract

Permanent 4 days (30 hrs per week). We can be flexible on hours worked each day and the days worked e.g. splitting 30 hours over 5 days.

Hybrid, in our North West London office with one day per week at home. We can be flexible regarding the specific days, but these will be fixed once agreed.

Key responsibilities

Providing support to the First Give team, primarily the SLT

• To be the first point of contact for enquiries to First Give by email and telephone
• Provide administrative support for First Gives Board of Trustees and SLT, including scheduling meetings and meeting minutes
• Supporting with communications to stakeholders e.g. schools, facilitators or funders as needed
• Managing First Gives relationship with external contractors such as printers and Salesforce support

Overseeing and managing financial administration

• Setting up and tracking payments to contractors and charities in our banking system ensuring timely completion
• Processing, reviewing and identifying outstanding invoices (including working closely with school finance departments to ensure timely payment of school contributions)
• Administering expenses and pre-paid card system, ensuring expenses are accurately recorded each month
• Provide regular monthly tracking reports on payments to the Director

Administering First Give’s charity grants

• Carrying out due diligence for winning charities to ensure comply with First Give donation rules
• Liaising with winning charities to arrange payment and ensuring accurate records of payments processed
• Running monthly reports on payments for the Director

Providing support to the Programmes team

• Supporting the Programmes team with recruitment of judges for school finals
• Managing First Give’s programme resources stock, ensuring we have enough programme documents and equipment to resource the programme
• Management of coursebook printing and distribution to schools

The Therapeutic Service Co-ordinator & Clinician is a vital member of the DreamArts Core Team. This role combines project co-ordination with direct therapeutic support through our EXPRESS PLUS service and our work with young carers.

EXPRESS PLUS is a free therapy service based in Westminster offering weekly one-to-one or parent-child creative therapeutic support to young people aged 7–18 (or up to 25 with additional needs). It is the only service of its kind in the borough and we provide a safe and welcoming space for clients to explore issues such as domestic violence, sexual abuse, and suicidal ideation.

Sessions take place at three community venues and are delivered by qualified or qualifying therapists using a wide range of creative tools—arts and crafts, sand play, puppets, games—to help young people express themselves in ways that feel natural and safe. With an 80% retention rate after three sessions and two-thirds of clients from global majority backgrounds, the service has a demonstrable impact.

EXPRESS PLUS is proudly user-led. Young people are at the heart of every decision, and the service adapts to meet their needs—typically offering up to 18 weekly sessions, with flexibility depending on circumstances. We accept self-referrals from young people aged 14+, parents/carers, and statutory and voluntary services.

As part of this role, you will also deliver direct therapeutic support to young people with caring responsibilities. This includes offering weekly 1:1 sessions for three young carers and being part of a team facilitating monthly group therapy spaces.

We are looking for a team member who is passionate about the power of creative therapy to support young people. It also offers opportunities to case-manage three-to-four therapists and bring a therapeutic lens across all aspects of DreamArts’ work. • Assist line manager to coordinate, design, programme and create complex query definitions to extract accurate data

About the Role
As HR Project Admin (Flexible Workforce), you will play a key role in supporting the national flexible staffing model. Parallel is a small but ambitious charitable initiative doing big things: we currently support over 3,000 students through our maths enrichment activities, around 500 of whom receive dedicated weekly, small-group online tutorials in The Parallel Academy. Our mission is to support students on our programmes to fulfil their mathematical potential, by providing them with the opportunity to develop their reasoning and problem-solving skills beyond the curriculum. 

Our students are motivated and ambitious. Although our maths programme is optional and takes place outside of school hours, students have an average attendance above 95%.

The Role

We are rapidly expanding our service provision over the coming months, and are seeking a full or part-time Project Administrator to join our passionate and energetic team. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our programmes and help embed the tools and processes for reaching thousands more students each year.

This is a versatile role with responsibilities ranging from database management to setting up online events and communicating with service users, schools and tutoring staff. Working within a small administration team, you will be proficient at using a range of tools such as spreadsheets, meeting platforms and scheduling software, and will be willing to learn new ways of working. We are looking for someone who can remain focused under pressure, using their initiative to deal proactively with a range of tasks and to prioritise the competing demands of a busy workload. 

Hours

This is a flexible and fully remote role, and you will have significant autonomy in how you structure your working week. 

As part of your contracted hours, you will be required to work some evenings and weekends, but this will not exceed one day a week in total. There will also be periods when there is a higher workload (e.g., during student recruitment periods), so you may be required to offer some flexibility in working longer (and then shorter) hours week to week. Key duties and responsibilities 

• Develop and maintain accurate, up-to-date spreadsheets relating to student rosters and learning data.

• Adopt data hygiene principles so that data is managed smartly, in accordance with our data privacy policy.

Age UK Richmond upon Thames is a local independent charity supporting older people across the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. We provide a wide range of useful and well utilised local services in Richmond upon Thames designed to improve wellbeing and enhance independence – including information & advice; a wide range of social & wellbeing centres and sessions; support after hospital discharge; digital skills development; Dementia Friendly Richmond; mental health peer support and home services such as handyperson, housekeeping and gardening. Our friendly and committed team of 50 staff and 100+ volunteers support over 4,000 local older people each year.

We currently have an excellent administrator opportunity for flexible and proactive individual to join our Nightingale Home from Hospital service, which provides much needed free support to local older people who have been discharged from hospital or become unwell in the community – with a particular emphasis on those living alone and without family support. 

Our small team of team & volunteers are  involved in organising and delivering tasks which facilitate a speedy hospital discharge and make homes safer to avoid admission – including fitting keysafes, moving furniture, shopping, giving advice and coordinating with health & social teams.

- Coordinating Nightingale staff and volunteers to ensure tasks essential for a safe discharge are complete.
