About the opportunity

As a Senior Product Manager, you'll manage delivery of digital services at the Alzheimer's Society as part of an exciting technology transformation programme. About you

You're a user focused Senior Product Manager with a successful track record of leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver digital products using agile methodology in large organisations. You have significant experience in understanding and balancing client, organisational, and technical needs when setting product strategy and direction. You're passionate about Tech for Good with a genuine desire to work in an equity-driven organisation solving real world problems.

You'll have:

- Successful track record of leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver digital products using agile methodology in a large and complex organisation.
- Significant experience in understanding and balancing client, organisational, and technical needs and knowing how to balance these when setting product strategy and direction.
- Significant experience of researching, prototyping, launching and scaling products and platforms from inception to live. 
- Ability to embody a product-mindset and be intensely user-focused, using qualitative and quantitative data to track progress against user outcomes. 
- Significant experience working cloud architecture and infrastructure and managing relationships between interdependent technology teams.

What you’ll focus on

- Leading the creation and evolution of the product vision, strategy, and objectives while discovering, defining, and validating problems presented by user insight, stakeholder priorities, organisational needs, and technical team members. 
- Coordinating across complex dependencies to deliver features that improve the overall user experience while engaging with teams across the organisation to align plans, understand priorities, and communicate changes to users. 
- Collaborating with user-centred design specialists and technical specialists to make sure our services are sustainable, flexible, and designed with users in mind - while developing product roadmaps that balance this alongside organisational priorities. 
- Using qualitative and quantitative data to make informed, outcome-focused decisions while tracking and monitoring product performance and user outcomes to iterate and improve on features. 
- Taking a responsible and ethical approach, considering the social impact our services create and minimising potential unintended consequences.
- Line managing and coaching members of the product community as we continue to grow, building a team culture in line with our organisational values.

Immigration Caseworker/Solicitor

The post-holder will provide advice and casework in the category of immigration, nationality and asylum law. This project will focus on casework for domestic violence victims referred by Local Authorities and other partners across London. They will also work closely with partner agencies providing consultancy and taking referrals of individuals and families needing immigration advice. The post holder must also undertake training and provide second tier support for community agencies.

About the role:

At the heart of Camden’s mission to end rough sleeping, the Gray's Inn Road project offers short-stay accommodation for 16 individuals experiencing some of the most challenging periods in their lives. Funded by the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities and the Greater London Authority, and delivered in partnership with One Housing Group and Camden Council, this service plays a pivotal role in ensuring rough sleeping in Camden is not only rare but brief and not repeated. Residents typically stay between three to six months, during which time the focus is on creating pathways into safe, sustainable housing and renewed independence.

You’ll be part of a dynamic, forward-thinking team dedicated to delivering trauma-informed, psychologically informed support. You’ll work closely with clients facing overlapping challenges including homelessness, poor physical and mental health, substance use, trauma and histories with the criminal justice system. With your own caseload, you’ll conduct in-depth assessments, build tailored support plans and facilitate interventions that reflect the needs, strengths and aspirations of each person. Every day brings new opportunities to connect people with education, training or employment, to help them rebuild practical life skills, and to foster progress towards long-term goals.

This is a role where no two days are the same, and the impact you’ll make is tangible. From supporting someone through a housing move to witnessing the first steps towards recovery or reconnection. You’ll work alongside a wide range of services including Camden Routes off the Streets, Inroads, Connect Forward and the Adult Pathway, as well as contribute to the operational running of the service and uphold high standards in safety and compliance. Plumstead Community Law Centre is a free specialist legal advice charity located in central Woolwich in South East London. We provide specialist legal advice and advocacy in the areas of immigration, welfare benefits and employment People can access our services via telephone or email, and through the Advice Hub outreach services we attend in local community centres. In 2024 over 1,400 local people accessed our advice and representation services, resulting in a range of financial and non-financial benefits.

We’re looking for someone to coordinate and champion our Lived Experience Advisory Group, a vital part of how we shape services, policies, and strategy at West Central London Mind. You’ll play a key role in ensuring people with lived experience of mental health challenges are meaningfully involved across the organisation, while also finding new ways to engage young people under 18 in a safe, inclusive and ethical way.

World Jewish Relief created the Specialist Training and Employment Programme (STEP) for refugees in 2016 and today we are the largest provider of specialist employment support to people who have experienced forced migration in the UK.STEP aims to support and empower people through a tailored employment programme that addresses the complex barriers that they face when preparing for and ultimately finding work in the UK.   

We support all people who have experienced forced migration, regardless of their proximity to the labour market, to develop the skills and access the opportunities they need to secure sustainable and meaningful employment. We run STEP online and in person programmes across the UK.  

We are now expanding our work to deliver (in partnership with the British Council) an English Language and Employment Support Programme for up to 4,000 Ukrainians and Hong Kong BNO status/visa (50% of each community) over the next 12 months.

We are recruiting a Cantonese speaking Team Manager to join the STEP team delivering this new programme. You will oversee a team of Employment Advisors who provide remote support to participants, assisting them in accessing job opportunities, education and training.  

You will be responsible for providing effective leadership, guidance and support to the Employment Advisors, monitoring and managing their workflow and providing coaching and mentoring to enhance their performance. Your responsibilities will also include quality assurance of STEP programme delivery, monitoring and reporting programme outcomes and compiling and analysing data on the effectiveness of the team’s interventions and activities.

• Proven experience in a supervisory or team leadership role, preferably within a refugee support or employment-related context.

How are staff supported to work remotely?

VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. Employees including the People team are homebased for Administration and meetings will be held online as well as in person on occasion for which travel will be required.

When you need to travel for work, expenses will be paid (mileage or public transport costs). 

VoiceAbility offers the usual regular manager one to ones, and Staff forums. We hold regular Team meetings with a mix of virtual and in person approach.

We are looking for a for a Volunteer Development Officer to be involved in supporting on and developing the volunteer peer champions for our gang prevention work as well as supporting aspects of the Befriending service to ensure that the organisation reaches and supports as many families as possible. You will provide and support the Team Leader on the coordination, training, recruitment and management of volunteers.as ensuring there is a continual bank of active volunteers,

About the role

Richmond AID have 3 main advice teams: Information Navigation, Benefits Advice and Money Advice. We also administer a number of grants on behalf of local grant giving charities and the local authority. Our teams are busier than ever and this role will play a vital part in supporting the team with administration tasks including; taking client enquiries from the phone, website and email and uploading them to our database, scanning and photocopying.

You will spend your time working directly with clients with a range of physical, sensory and mental health impairments to help them to fill in grant allocation forms and other forms and helping people to know their rights. You will also support our advice teams administratively; arranging appointments, sending emails and letters and uploading information to our database.

You will receive training in a range of advice areas (housing, health and social care, benefits, transport and travel) as well as other relevant topics such as various mental health conditions, managing challenging behaviour, professional boundaries, and case management. You will be supported by a friendly team of experienced advisers who will have the opportunity to shadow and you will also have access to a range of external training and development opportunities.

You will need to have clear written and oral communication skills as you will need to make phone calls and write emails and letters to clients as well as providing progress updates to the team.

You will work closely with our experienced advice team and we can offer opportunities for training and development in a range of areas including social care, housing and benefits to support you on your journey to becoming and advisor.

 

About you
