DFN Project SEARCH offer an evidence-based supported internship model which takes place entirely in the workplace.  The programmes provide continuous support to young adults with a learning disability, and autistic people who are aged between 16 – 24 with an Education Health and Care Plan, or equivalent, in their final year of education.

You will be required to identify opportunities to develop and grow DFN Project SEARCH programmes across a geographical area with the aim of supporting the organisation to ensure that as many people as need it have access to DFN Project SEARCH programmes.

In addition, you will be required to develop strategies to ensure that the operational programmes in your area are achieving at least the average outcomes expected for young people in our programmes and so you must be committed to continuous improvement.

You will be specifically required to develop strong partnerships and train and support colleagues within your area. You may also be required to support colleagues promoting DFN Project SEARCH in other areas, further European projects as required and contribute to the development of relevant UK focussed materials.

By resolving immigration status of service users, you will help eliminate destitution and allow them to access support for a better future - an initiative funded under the London Councils Homelessness Project.

The Manna Day Centre is a drop-in Centre for homeless and vulnerably housed single men and women. It is run by a team of project workers, under the Director, who are responsible for its smooth operation. Basic Services offered include food, showers, clothing, housing & welfare advice, medical care, and access to laptops. The Centre opens to service users 7 days a week, 8.30am– 1.30pm. The working week for this post is Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 4.00pm each day.

The Senior Housing & Welfare Advice Worker must have a commitment to homeless people, which includes acceptance and respect. A little bit about the role 

The trusts fundraiser role sits in the fundraising team within the external relations division. The fundraising team is responsible for raising between £1m and £1.5m in fundraised income annually. Frontline’s philanthropic income complements the significant contract income the charity receives from central and local government and enables the charity to carry out its broader mission to create social change for hundreds of thousands of disadvantaged children.

Since we were founded in 2013, Frontline has leveraged its success to build committed, high impact partnerships with a number of prestigious supporters including trusts and foundations, corporates and high net worth individuals. Our new fundraising strategy focuses on continuing to grow our network of supporters by maintaining excellent relationships with our current funders while identifying new potential donors, and at the same time testing and developing fundraising through community and events and individual giving.

We are now looking for a trusts fundraiser to help drive this strategy forward. The successful candidate will have experience in building relationships and securing income, helping us to build relationships with new trust funders while stewarding effectively our current trust and foundation relationships.

The successful candidate will work closely with the head of fundraising and the fundraising manager to implement Frontline’s annual fundraising plan, taking specific responsibility for researching, building relationships with, writing persuasive proposals to and securing income from new trust and foundation funders, while also providing excellent stewardship and reporting to current funders. The fundraising team is supported by the marketing, events and communications staff of the external relations division.

Some key responsibilities include:

• To develop a pipeline of potential trust funders through prospect research, the development of strong relationships, and writing of persuasive, creative and inspiring applications. 
• To arrange meetings and engagement opportunities with new funders, including ensuring that other Frontline staff are involved in supporting applications and pitches where appropriate. 
• To account manage a portfolio of existing trust supporters, providing excellent stewardship and planning and writing high quality grant and funding reports in line with reporting deadlines. 
• To work closely with other teams at Frontline, particularly the fellowship team and evaluation team, to develop proposals and reports, bring funders closer to our work and help inspire a culture of fundraising across the charity.

You will be an experienced fundraiser, with experience in securing grants from trusts and foundations in particular. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, target-driven and passionate about delivering persuasive cases for support through crafting creative and imaginative funding proposals.

We will offer a salary of between £29,000 and £34,000 depending on experience for a 36-hour week. Ideally you will be a full-time employee but we are happy to consider a part-time contract (min 0.8 FTE). This post will be offered as a permanent contract.

We value spending time working in-person to develop strong connections with each other and with our mission, so you will be based at our central London office for a minimum of three days a week (usually Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) with the option to work remotely for the remainder.

Working with our Communications and Health Liaison Manager, we are looking for a team player with great communication skills and positive energy, to contribute to our social media presence, help create engaging content, answer member queries via social media, and help to continue to grow our online community.

The ADSHG is a well-established UK charity supporting people with Addison’s and adrenal insufficiency through its website, social media reach and member services.   Addison’s disease is a form of adrenal insufficiency and is a rare endocrine condition affecting 1:10,000, and both genders. Whilst treatable with time-critical daily medication, individuals with adrenal insufficiency are at risk of potentially life-threatening adrenal crisis, which occurs when physical or emotional triggers mean that prescribed medication no longer meets the body’s need for cortisol.  Adrenal crisis is a medical emergency and can be life-threatening if not diagnosed and treated in a short period of time.  Addison's and adrenal insufficiency are not widely understood, even within the medical community.     

Social Media

Our social media reach has grown steadily over the years, and, thanks to thoughtful content promoting audience engagement, it currently stands at a reach of over 31,000 across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X and with a growing reach on BlueSky.   Our audience consists of our members and non-members with a diagnosis of adrenal insufficiency, their carers and supporters, and healthcare professionals.

We use Loomly to help organise and schedule our posts, aiming to post at least 3 times a week.  Our community respond particularly well to both educational and emotive topics, but we aim to keep a good diversity between the focus of posts, and will include fundraising, news, updates, shop alerts, educational articles, member information etc. 

Our social media links our community back to our website for more information as well as signposting out to other organisations as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement our social media strategies to increase awareness and engagement 

• Collaborate with the Communications and Health Liaison Manager to create, schedule, and publish content across Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), Threads, Bluesky, and LinkedIn 

• Use Canva to design visually appealing graphics in line with our brand guidelines 

• Schedule posts via Loomly 

• Create short reels or video clips to enhance engagement 

• Monitor and respond to comments and messages with patience, empathy, and clear language 

• Analyse social media metrics and provide regular reports on performance 

• Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices 

• Collaborate with the Communications and Health Liaison Manager to ensure consistent messaging and branding 

Requirements

• Proven experience in social media management 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• Ability to create short reels or video clips 

• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences 

• Confidence in using Canva for content creation 

• Desired: Experience with scheduling posts via Loomly or similar 

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail 

• Proactive: ability to work independently and manage time effectively to make best use of the flexible work pattern and limited hours 

• Passion for health advocacy and supporting individuals within the Rare Disease space.

The role

As Employment Solicitor, you’ll provide excellent employment legal advice, and support the Head of Employment in supervising our two senior legal advisers. You’ll also use your expertise to create accessible public-facing legal information, deliver training to other advisers, and collaborate with colleagues in the policy team. This is a real opportunity to support vulnerable workers' individual and group claims, while contributing to systemic change.

About you

We seek a colleague who shares our mission to end in-work poverty by helping vulnerable workers find justice, and who has: 

• Three years PQE in the UK in employment law;

• Experience of working in a legal team, supervising and delegating work;

• Excellent case management skills, demonstrating an ability to quickly gather case facts, draft good case summaries, plan actions accordingly;

• Excellent client management skills, including courtesy, professionalism, an ability to set realistic expectations and keep the client informed of case progress;

• Knowledge of, and empathy with, the backgrounds and experiences of migrants and other vulnerable workers.
