You bring a solid foundation in mental health care, supported by an NVQ Level 4 in Care (or equivalent) or at least two years' experience in the field. You work collaboratively with professionals, services, and communities, applying your knowledge of care planning, risk assessment, recovery tools, and the Mental Health Act to provide safe and effective support.

Grove Park Youth Club is an accessible and dedicated space for local children and young people, situated in a remarkable, purpose-built youth club building, constructed in 1966 as part of the Chinbrook Estate development. We are a registered charity (Ref No. 1196106) located on Marvels Lane in Grove Park (SE12 9PR), within the London Borough of Lewisham.
Our mission is to make Grove Park Youth Club a hub for local children and young people to learn, build connections, and explore and develop their interests. We provide a safe and welcoming space where young people can engage in fun and educational activities, sports and cultural activities, build life skills, as well as seek support with the pressures they face in the wider world.
The youth club is managed by a community-led Trust of people connected to the area who led a seven-year campaign to save and reopen the building. GPYC Studios is our flagship in-house open access youth club launched in 2023, serving local children and young people aged 11–17 (up to 21 with SEND). Job Role
The GPYC Studios Creative Wellbeing Lead will work in close collaboration with the Trust and report directly to the Chair. This multifaceted role includes responsibilities across team leadership, programme development, outreach and engagement, partnership management, and on-site delivery. In addition to this, the Lead will be expected to fill the role of Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO), for which training can be provided for.
Whilst the role has a considerable administrative element, it is key that the Creative Wellbeing Lead brings a strong sense of creativity, flexibility, and play to the space. Being present and physically facilitating fun and constructive interactions with young people is crucial.
The Creative Wellbeing Lead will be supported by a Creative Wellbeing Assistant (to be recruited in February 2026) in both organising and delivering the programme, alongside two Creative Wellbeing Practitioners who specialise in pastoral care, and a team of sessional youth workers.
This is a part-time position, working 10.5 hours per week at a rate of £29.37. The role includes regular on-site presence during our sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (7 hours total). In addition, availability during standard working hours (Monday to Friday) is required to fulfil 3.5 hours of remote work. The role will commence in January 2026.
Contract type: Zero hours contract
Salary: £15,422 per annum based on a 50 week year (GPYC is closed for 2 weeks in Dec/Jan)

About the Service
The aim of the Hertfordshire Mind Network Domestic Abuse Casework Service is to provide advice, information, and support to survivors of intimate partner or familial violence living in the community about the range, effectiveness, and suitability of options to improve their safety and that of their children. All advice will be based on a thorough understanding and assessment of risk and its management.
About the role
The purpose of the Hertfordshire Mind Network Community Outreach Worker role is to:
- Provide support and advocacy services to clients experiencing domestic abuse
- Ensure direct contact is made with the client within a specified time of an incident being reported to the police and to carry out a risk assessment.
- Ensure that the safety and wellbeing of the client is monitored and reviewed regularly.
- Maintain and enhance service delivery standards and effectiveness.
- Support the team with case management and volume of referrals to ensure a short waiting time and referrals are contacted promptly and assessed appropriately.
- Collate and obtain feedback regarding the effectiveness of the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the wellbeing of clients who are affected by domestic abuse.
- Contribute to a reduction in repeat victimisation
- Reduce the number of victims withdrawals of witness statements
- Be aware of the impact on children of domestic abuse and make referrals to appropriate agencies to support the children where necessary.
- Increase the reporting of children at risk of harm
- Increase successful court outcomes by proactively supporting clients and work with the witness services for cases going to court
- Work with the wider team within Hertfordshire Mind Network and support clients in accessing additional support e.g. counselling, peer support, employment support and self-development courses
- Work with other professionals e.g. police, health, social care, housing, and signpost and liaise with such agencies as necessary
- Work with and signpost to other third sector partner agencies as necessary
- Provide a first point of contact for professionals and clients and pass on necessary cases or referrals to the Domestic Abuse Caseworker.
- Refer to the Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) if required and local IDVA service.

The role
We are looking for an experienced, proactive media professional to join our team during a crucial phase of Dignity in Dying’s campaign. We welcome applicants with a strong news-sense, political nous and a flair for story-telling who can use the media and other channels to effectively influence a range of audiences. At a pivotal time for the movement for choice at the end of life, the successful candidate will be a team-player who can communicate complex subject matter in compelling and creative ways, keep abreast of media and political trends, support the delivery of national and regional comms plans and champion the voices of terminally ill people and bereaved families - both inside and outside Parliament.

- Support the Campaigns and Communications team in monitoring, evaluating and securing media coverage, along with developing and rolling out campaign activities.
