As one of two PR Managers, you'll be the key point of contact for all PR communications, helping to develop and execute forward-thinking PR plans and strategies. Responsible for implementing and managing a proactive PR activity schedule, you’ll craft compelling content to entice journalists and the media to support our work. Responding reactively to requests the charity receives.

Championing best practices in PR, you’ll drive effective, integrated campaigns across the UK, ensuring a cohesive approach to both traditional and digital media.

Diving into projects such as Deaf Awareness Week, our ‘It does matter’, access to Ear Wax removal services and major healthcare campaigns, you’ll raise awareness of the barriers facing the 18m people who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus, getting these issues on the national agenda, starting conversations around hearing health.

You'll also be celebrating inclusion, working the UK's biggest TV shows, and campaigning for equal access to healthcare.

You will be responsible for:

• Coordinating our PR content calendar, creating and curating inspiring and shareable materials that resonate with our target audiences,reporting on performance against KPIs and making recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Managing media and stakeholder relationships, ensuring timely, engaging, and brand-appropriate responses to queries and feedback.

• Acting as the first point of contact for reactive media inquiries, providing prompt and effective responses to manage and shape media coverage.

• Overseeing PR project management for campaigns, collaborating with colleagues across the MarComms team.

• Championing PR best practices. Advising and assisting teams, applying insights from performance analysis to ensure all PR content is designed to maximise reach, engagement, and impact.

• Conducting media monitoring and PR analysis to identify trends and reputational issues.

• Tracking the success of PR initiatives, providing feedback to project teams on effective strategies and areas for improvement.

• Working with our Stories and Celebrity Managers to identify and engage new case studies and high-profile individuals, and deliver impactful stories or celebrity-led campaigns.

• Share success and media coverage across RNID, working with the Internal comms team to celebrate and show the value of PR and involve the whole organisation in our work

• Supporting spokespeople from across RNID, case studies, celebrities and influencers with high profile media interviews including developing media briefings and key messages and providing feedback

• Play a key role in the PR & Comms team, ensuring that PR, social media, celebrity and storytelling works together to deliver maximum impact

You will have experience of driving forward and managing a PR function and possess a thorough understanding of how various PR channels function and how content is best delivered, staying current with industry trends.

You'll join a collaborative, forward-thinking team dedicated to building the evidence base that drives real-world improvements in palliative and end of life care.

As our Research Manager - Partnerships, you'll play a pivotal role in building and nurturing strategic partnerships to advance palliative and end of life care research in the UK. You will lead the setup of a new Palliative and End of Life Care Research Funders Forum, coordinate stakeholder engagement activities, and support impact planning across a select portfolio of research grants. This is a unique opportunity to help shape national research priorities and influence the future of care through collaboration, insight, and innovation.

Main responsibilities:
- Establish and manage a new Research Funders Forum for palliative and end of life care, engaging with the Government and charitable funding bodies.
- Plan and organise workshops and other activities following the identification of the top 10 research priorities in the collaborative Palliative and end of life care Priority Setting Partnership with the James Lind Alliance.
- Identify new opportunities for strategic research partnerships by reviewing databases and networks.
- Monitor a small portfolio of externally funded research projects, ensuring delivery and maximising their policy and practice impact.
- Manage partnership agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs).
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders including research funders, academic collaborators, and sector bodies.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Policy, Caring Services, Comms) to amplify the reach and impact of research outputs.
- Stay informed on developments in the research and end of life care landscape to inform strategic decision-making.

Key Criteria:
- Background in research (delivery or support) and solid knowledge of the UK research funding environment.
- Educated to at least degree level in a health or research-related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple complex projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Confidence working across stakeholders to build and maintain engagement.
- Understanding of research impact and experience organising external-facing events or workshops.
- Research presentation experience and knowledge of qualitative/quantitative methods.
- Familiarity with the charity sector or palliative care landscape will be an asset.

The Corporate Partnerships Manager will play a vital role in supporting New Horizon Youth Centre’s mission by managing and growing a portfolio of valued corporate partners (>£20k) and supporters (<£20k). They will nurture these relationships to ensure meaningful, long-term support for our work with young people facing homelessness.

This will include organising volunteering days that inspire action, delivering lunch and learn sessions that deepen understanding of our cause, and finding creative ways for partners to make a real difference. This role will also drive new business, proactively building relationships with companies who share our values and want to help young people fulfil their potential.

In addition, they will lead on New Horizon’s events programme, developing and delivering inspiring events that connect corporate partners, high-net-worth individuals, and other supporters to the heart of our mission.

Sense has a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our Fundraising team as our Statutory Fundraising Manager. This is a 6 month fixed term, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, based between home and our offices in Kings Cross, London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading statutory fundraising at Sense. This includes both new business work and managing relationships with existing supporters. You will be working closely with the Head of High Value Partnerships, the CEO, and senior operational colleagues, the post holder will create a strategy in this area and collaborate with operational teams to develop new programme models and processes to drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a fundraising strategy to maximise income from statutory and lottery bodies such as NHS England, the Arts Council and National Lottery Community Fund. Statutory funding has been identified as a growth area at Sense Work with senior stakeholders, including the CEO, Directors of Operations and Finance teams, to develop and deliver compelling funding bids for statutory and public sector funders
• Manage relationships with statutory and public sector funders, including taking responsibility for narrative and financial reporting, and coordinating all stakeholder contact
• Specific responsibility for managing and reporting against statutory income and expenditure budgets
• Financial and programme reporting and database management
• Ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act, the Chartered Institute of Fundraising’s Code of Practice, and any other regulatory frameworks that may be introduced

Key skills and experience

• A track record of securing income from a range of statutory sources, including six figure grants (essential) - success at the seven figure+ grant level (desirable)
• Experience of working with teams to develop proposals in line with organizational priorities, including developing robust project monitoring and evaluation plans.
• Experience of leading relationships with external funders, in particular government departments and lottery bodies
• Experience of compiling narrative and financial reports for statutory funders
• Experience of setting and managing budgets in line with organizational priorities.

Join Dementia UK as a Challenge Events Manager and take the lead in delivering our DIY and open challenge events portfolio through impactful acquisition campaigns and outstanding supporter experiences.

As part of the Mass Participation team, you’ll be responsible for developing the overall strategy for both the DIY and open challenge events programmes. A Global Citizens’ Assembly for COP30 to be launched in Brazil in November is the key opportunity to pilot Assemblis. About the role

You’ll take a user-centred approach to shaping the product, balancing strategic vision with on-the-ground experimentation. This pivotal role will be responsible for the selection, training and deployment of our volunteers across all service areas. About the role

As a Suicide Bereavement Advisor you will be:

• Manage a caseload of assigned clients.

• Provide emotional and practical support to clients over the phone and via email and SMS.

• Provide a safe space for them to talk about their loss and how it is impacting them, offering them empathy and validation.

• Provide information and advice about practical issues they may be dealing with.

• Where appropriate, refer them to our Counselling Service and help them to fill in the application form.

• Support them to access other relevant services through signposting.

• Liaise with other relevant organisations to build our connections within the sector and increase awareness of our services.

Some of the things you would be responsible for as a Finance Manager:

• Administer legacies in a professional and approachable manner, to include correspondence with solicitors and other interested parties
• Maintain departmental information, files, and records related to legacy estates
• Act as the point of contact and grow and mature relationships with stakeholders and external groups in order to attain information needed to carry out the role
• Work with various stakeholders on contested legacies, collaborating with other charities where needed
• Be able to communicate to supporters how important and desirable legacies are to PETA

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the charity’s mass participation products, including the flagship event, Time for a Cuppa, while also leading in developing and launching new products to meet supporter engagement and income targets.

Reporting to the Senior Mass Participation Manager, you will contribute to shaping an effective mass participation strategy and implementing detailed operational plans to manage, diversify and grow the programme. A core part of the role involves planning and delivering compelling marketing strategies that increase supporter numbers, generate income and provide exceptional supporter experiences to maximise fundraising potential. To succeed in this role, you will have a strong track record of managing mass participation fundraising events that deliver income growth. Experience in developing and implementing mass product strategies, managing budgets, reporting on KPIs ,variances and reforecasting is also required. A solid understanding of supporter needs and the ability to use audience insight to shape effective communication and stewardship approaches is vital. Proficiency in using a fundraising relationship database to support, inform and report on activity will be essential.
