About the Role:

As a Deputy Head of Service for Performance & Quality you will:

• proactively analyse data from diverse sources, transforming it into powerful & useful insights for our service
• produce management information, impact analysis, service modelling & customer-focused performance tools
• monitor service performance & identify risks to support & enable data-driven decision-making & continuous improvement

Regular tasks will include:

You will need:

• experience using either Python or R to bring data together from diverse sources and prepare for analysis using cleaning and preparation techniques
• extensive practical experience of using innovative platforms for data visualization including R Shiny, Power BI and/or Tableau
• A degree or equivalent professional experience in subjects such as Statistics, Data/ Computer Science, Economics, Public Policy, or the Sciences would be desirable

Key responsibilities and duties:

The role comprises of the following key areas of responsibility:

· Executive Assistant to CEO

Provide full support to the CEO, including but not limited to:

o Overseeing the diary of the CEO, prioritising meetings and scheduling time for reading, thinking and preparing, ensuring meeting materials are to hand.

o Providing ‘right-hand’ support, undertaking research, ensuring CEO is up to date with all projects and pre-empting needs.

o Secretarial – supporting emails, creating presentations, keeping management files organised and up to date within SharePoint.

· Executive Assistant to Chair

Provide full support to the Chair in any administrative activities that relate to her role as Chair, including but not limited to:

o Overseeing calendar appointments, and ensuring the Chair is prepared for meetings.

o Providing ‘right hand’ support in communication with staff and Board, scheduling meetings and providing administrative support as required.

· Governance and administrative support to the Overcoming MS Board

Provide governance and administrative support to the Overcoming MS Board of trustees, including:

o Scheduling Board, committee and Strategy meetings and making the necessary arrangements (eg booking venues, setting up virtual meetings via Teams/ Zoom).

o Preparation of documentation for meetings including circulation of agendas, compiling Board packs for the Board of Trustees and committee meetings, taking accurate minutes and co-ordinating follow up actions.

o Supporting the Chair and CEO in the recruitment and induction of new Trustees.

o Providing administrative support for working groups, for example, making arrangements for meetings, circulating agendas and papers.
 

· Internal HR administrative lead

Fully supported with external expertise, to provide administrative support for the team, including:

o Advertising vacant roles, coordinating recruitment, sifting applicants, arranging interviews.

o Onboarding new starters, including references, contracts, setting up new starters on the systems, inducting starters in organisational processes.

o Supporting ongoing team development including coordinating training, staff surveys and appraisals.

o Coordinating leavers, including exit interviews, leavers forms and relevant administration.

· Internal IT administrative lead

Fully supported by our external IT agency, to provide administrative support for the team, including:

o Regular meetings with IT agency to ensure correct licenses, equipment and protections are in place.

o Coordination of hardware and software for new starters, equipment provided and returned for leavers.

· Management of Overcoming MS contact enquiries

o Regularly check the Overcoming MS contacts mailbox and manage its contents, responding or delegating to Overcoming MS team members where appropriate, and ensuring follow up is completed.

o Manage the Overcoming MS telephone number to ensure queries are dealt with efficiently.

o Draw themes from regularly occurring queries, to make sure any trends are picked up and addressed effectively.

· General organisational support

o Provide ad hoc project management support to organisational improvement projects, including supporting project team meetings, developing project plans and tracking progress.

o Travel/ meeting arrangements – arrange meetings, attendance at conferences and book rooms and making travel arrangements as necessary.

o    Coordination with our outsourced storage facility.

o Policy support – maintenance of the policy tracker, coordinating the reviewing and updating of policies.

o Admin support for team meetings, oversight of the shared drive, central email lists.

The Jobs, Education and Training (JET) team works with young people facing homelessness to support them into meaningful and appropriate employment, training opportunities, apprenticeships, volunteering, and education. As part of our delivery, we have developed a weekly ESOL group for young people looking to improve their spoken English, many of whom are young refugees and asylum seekers. Your role would involve the planning, preparation and delivery of these non-formal education sessions as well as delivering wider 1:1 JET casework. While you will work with all young people in the service, this role will focus on developing our JET delivery for young refugees, asylum seekers and those with English as a second language. You will also spend approximately 1 day per week helping us to deliver our core day-centre service.

About the role

We are seeking a visionary Director to lead our strategic and operational transformation, ensuring our services are inclusive, responsive, and survivor-led. The role will be based at nia, but will work across, and be accountable to, all Alliance members.

As Director, you will play a central role in shaping and delivering the Alliance’s strategic and operational goals. You will lead the Alliance Management Team, support the Leadership Team, and work alongside experts with lived experience to improve service access, consistency, and responsiveness for London’s diverse survivor communities — especially those facing the greatest intersectional disadvantage.

The Director will oversee the transformation of intake and referral pathways, monitor performance, manage risk and oversee governance structures, while fostering collaboration and accountability across all member organisations. You will also represent the Alliance externally, influencing policy, securing resources, and amplifying the voices of marginalised survivors. The Central Office Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the central office facility, including day-to-day oversight of organisation-wide services provided by SCT’s external IT support provider.

The successful applicant will have been in a similar role for at least 12 months as an experienced Stoma/Pouch Specialist Nurse and qualified to at least (NHS) Band level 6. As someone who is passionate about helping people who have been through, or are considering life-changing surgery, your empathetic approach, high standards and professionalism together with your excellent clinical knowledge and experience will put the patient at the heart of everything that you do.

In addition to direct support through one of our many communications channels, your clinical experience will help us to further our charitable aims, developing additional strategic services supported by our team of staff, trustees and volunteers, many of whom have been through life changing surgery themselves.

We’re looking for a friendly, organised and proactive person to join us as our new Activities and Volunteer Coordinator. This is a hands-on, people-focused role. You’ll be the go-to person for keeping our weekly sessions running smoothly, supporting facilitators, welcoming learners, managing session admin and planning community events like our summer show and Christmas party. You’ll also take the lead on developing our volunteer programme by recruiting, inducting and supporting the amazing people who give their time to help make Stepping Stones such a special place.

You’ll be supported by our Charity Manager and work closely with a small, passionate team who care deeply about inclusion, wellbeing and creativity.

• Have experience working with community groups and adults with learning disabilities (or similar settings)

• Are friendly, organised and calm under pressure

• Know how to manage volunteers with empathy and clarity

• Understand safeguarding, health & safety, and inclusive practice

• Are confident with admin, registers and MS Office programmes.

Herts Young Homeless is an independent charity and has been supporting vulnerable people in Hertfordshire since 1998. We are professional, passionate, collaborative and supportive charity that provides guidance to everyone who is in need of support.

The successful candidate willdeliver a high-quality service to young people aged 16–17 and their families across Hertfordshire, working alongside the Family Link Work and Mediation services to prevent family breakdown and reduce repeat homelessness. They will also support the wider team and work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure the service achieves its key performance indicators (KPIs).

What will you be doing? 

Lead the hyh Hub, overseeing its day-to-day operations and ensuring the effective delivery of services. The Hub acts as a gateway for young people aged 16–17 to access hyh’s prevention services. In this role, you will build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and commissioners, while supporting the recruitment, training, and professional development of Advice & Information and Admin Workers. You will also monitor outcomes and produce reports for the leadership team and funders to demonstrate impact and inform future service development.

We’re hiring for a passionate and supporter focused individual to join our legacy marketing team. As the first point of contact for some of our most valued supporters, you’ll help refer them to have their Will written for free, answer questions or arrange a special tour of the hospital. You’ll also take on a key role to ensure the smooth running of our legacy marketing campaigns and events. 

This is the ideal opportunity for a customer service focused individual with excellent attention to detail, to join a dynamic team. 
This role is known internally as Legacy Marketing Executive. 

Salary

The salary for this position is £33,234 and we operate a hybrid working policy of a minimum of 2 days per week in the office. 

In line with our EDI strategy and Total Reward policy, we calculate our salaries based on benchmarking data across the charity sector. To ensure fairness for existing staff and new joiners, we do not offer salaries above the advertised rate.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact (telephone and email) for supporter calls and enquiries for the Legacy Marketing team. 
• Collaborate with the Supporter Relations team to manage queries. 
• Process third party invoices for approval, tracking against expenditure log. 
• Provide exceptional customer service and supporter guidance.
• Provide administration and event management support for legacy events.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Previous customer service experience. 
• Experience processing invoices and keeping track of expenditure. 
• Understanding of data processes and CRMS/databases e.g. Salesforce. 
• Ability to import and export data from Excel.

• Ability to prioritise tasks. 
• Ability to manage sensitive data and conversations with supporters.

Sitting in the wider Fundraising Directorate, this role sits within our small but mighty Legacy Marketing team, which is part of our wider Legacy and Donor Development team (who look after our cash and raffle programmes).
