The Cyber Helpline is a fast-growing, innovative charity that supports individuals impacted by cybercrime, digital fraud and online harm. As we enter our next stage of growth, we are seeking a senior operational leader to transform, scale and strengthen our Helpline service.

The Head of Helpline and Service Delivery will provide strategic and operational leadership across all aspects of service delivery - people, processes, quality, tooling and innovation. This role is accountable for the overall performance, resilience and impact of the Helpline, ensuring we offer exceptional trauma-informed and victim/survivor-centred support across channels.

This is an executive role requiring someone who can operate strategically while staying close to operational realities. Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Service Direction

• Develop and deliver a multi-year operational strategy for the Helpline aligned with organisational goals.

• Shape the future service model, including workforce planning, channel strategy, automation and technology.

• Provide executive-level leadership and insight to the CEO, Executive Team and Trustees.

• Represent The Cyber Helpline externally with partners, regulators, law enforcement, funders and the wider sector.

Service Performance

• Lead the day-to-day and long-term operation of the Helpline, ensuring stability, quality, responsiveness and continuous improvement.

• Own and deliver KPIs, SLAs, performance dashboards and quality standards.

• Ensure effective processes, incident response, risk management and signposting and referral pathways.

• Oversee the helpdesk, telephony, triage, case management processes and other service initiatives.

People, Culture and Capability

• Lead the team members across functions such as supervisors, case support, QA and training

• Build a high-performing workforce of staff and volunteers, ensuring strong recruitment, onboarding, development, supervision and succession planning.

• Foster a supportive, trauma-informed and collaborative culture with clear expectations and accountability.

• Set and embed structures, role clarity, operational guidelines and communication frameworks across the Helpline.

Quality, Compliance and Risk

• Own the QA framework alongside the Case Support Team, ensuring consistent, accurate and compassionate support to victims and survivors.

• Work in partnership with the Head of Safeguarding to ensure compliance with safeguarding policy and strong practice across the team.

• Oversee high-risk escalations, operational risk identification and mitigation.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, such as data protection and cybersecurity.

Service Development

• Lead service improvement initiatives, including redesigning processes, upgrading systems and embedding new technologies.

• Collaborate with data, product and technology teams to enhance automation, workflows and case-handling efficiency.

• Ensure the service evolves in response to threat trends, victim needs, and organisational strategy.

• Drive innovation in digital service delivery and multi-channel support.

Partnerships, Impact and Growth

• Work with stakeholders such as police, funders, commissioners, corporates and international partners to strengthen and expand our model.

• Support fundraising and business development opportunities by providing operational insight, impact reporting and case studies.

• Contribute to the expansion of the Helpline model into new geographies.

• Act as a senior ambassador for the service and organisation.

Internal Leadership and Collaboration

• Partner with operations, finance, safeguarding, comms and data teams to ensure integrated and effective organisational delivery.

• Contribute to organisational strategy, planning cycles, and Executive Team decision making.

• Lead or support cross-organisational projects where operational expertise is required.

Requirements

Candidates must be 18 years old or older and resident in the UK with the right to work in the UK. Successful candidates will need to have their background and criminal records checked, as they are likely to have access to sensitive personal data. 

Essential

• Significant leadership experience in a senior operational role within a helpline, support service, contact centre, victim support environment or other complex service-delivery setting.

• Proven ability to scale a service, introduce new operational models and lead organisational change. 

• Experience managing multi-layered teams (including volunteers), ideally across remote environments.

• Strong understanding of QA, safeguarding principles, operational risk, and compliance.

• Demonstrated ability to set KPIs, manage performance, analyse data and make evidence-informed decisions.

• Exceptional people leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills

• Experience improving processes, implementing new systems or delivering service innovation.

We are recruiting a General Advice Officer to support with the delivery of advice and welfare support to vulnerable guests who access the Community Wellbeing Service, a local support hub offering relief from the rising cost of living for local families. The General Advice Officer will support our guests on a range of areas including benefits, immigration, housing, money management and access to training and employment services. Since 2015, we have been the lead referral partner to the Charity Commission for land & property advice and preferred supplier to the Lloyds Bank Foundation.

 JOB DESCRIPTION

The Head of Property Advisory is the lead member of the Property Advice Team comprising Associate Property Advisors. The team is supported by The Foundation’s Register of Property Professionals. The Property Advice Team provides advice, consultancy and educational services. This service is delivered by providing on-line information, free helpdesk guidance, training events and consultancy projects to assist organisations in making informed property decisions. The Head of Property Services will have the following key areas of activity and responsibility:

1. Developing the Affordable Consultancy  

The Head of Property Services leads on all aspects of building our affordable consultancy and delivers sales income in line with agreed targets. This will include:  

· Identifying potential clients and proactively seeking opportunities to bid for work.

· Responding to enquiries from potential clients, conducting initial meetings to ascertain support required and putting together carefully priced proposals tailored to client needs.

· Developing and maintaining relationships with key partners, including Lloyds Bank Foundation.

· Tracking of enquiries and work in progress with support from the Operations Manager; ensuring accurate records are maintained and providing information and reports to the CEO and Trustees for invoicing and fundraising purposes.

·  Developing new products for the charity sector, making the EPF relevant and providing new and growing income streams.

· Ensuring EPF communication channels appropriately promote our services.

2. Management of Property Advice Team 

The Head of Property Services directly line-manages the Associates in delivery of the Affordable Consultancy:  

·  Developing and maintaining appropriate processes and templates for development and delivery of work.  Disseminating as necessary and ensuring processes followed by team members.

·  Oversight of all support, advice and training provided by the team to ensure consistent high levels of content quality and customer care are maintained.

· Oversight of the free Property Advice Service, co-ordinating with the Property Advisors running the service and responding to enquires who may require affordable consultancy services.

· Ensuring consultancy projects are allocated to team members with appropriate knowledge, experiences and availability. 

· Developing excellent working relationships with members of our Register of Property Professionals to introduce charities for effective support. 

· Delivering excellent customer care by coordinating the Foundation’s support to charities until their project is resolved.

· Supporting the team to ensure property materials for training and online guidance are accurate and appropriate.

3. Additional duties may include:  

· Representing the Foundation and presenting at external events.

· Working proactively to ensure that the Property Advice Team remains up to date with property and charity sector knowledge.

· Develop a broad knowledge of complementary organisations and services that can provide support to enquirers to the Property Advice Service, or opportunities for partnership working or collaboration with the Foundation.

· The Foundation requires all employees to work with due regard for the Foundation’s ethos and policies including health and safety, equality and the environment.  All our team must have DBS clearance.

About GISF

The Global Interagency Security Forum (GISF) is a member-led NGO network working to strengthen security risk management across the humanitarian and development sectors. With over 140 member organisations, GISF provides resources, convening spaces, and expertise to help keep aid workers safe.

About the role

The Administration and Finance Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of GISF’s operations. This role combines core administrative responsibilities with day-to-day financial support, including grant-related bookkeeping, staff timesheet coordination, and invoice tracking. Training will be provided on financial tasks, though some experience is welcome. This role would suit someone looking for flexibility across their week- a suitable working pattern can be negotiated with the successful candidate.

Key responsibilities

Administration & Operations

• Provide day-to-day operational support to the GISF Secretariat,
• Coordination with outsourced service providers (e.g. IT, legal, finance, audit).
• Maintain and update GISF’s policies systems to support efficient operations.
• Manage the GISF office space in London.
• General HR duties, including support to recruitment processes, leave-tracking and onboarding of new staff and consultants.
• Assist with travel bookings, venue arrangements, and logistics for meetings as well as GISF-led external events.
• Administrative support to the board of directors.

Finance

• Support day-to-day financial processes, including coordination of supplier payments and processing staff expense claims.
• Oversee basic bookkeeping functions, including coding of expenses to relevant grants and cost centres.
• Maintain financial records and assist in the preparation of financial reports for donors and management.
• Liaise with GISF’s external accountants or financial service provider to support timely and accurate reporting.
• Coordinate the collection and consolidation of monthly staff timesheets, ensuring correct allocation to grants/projects.
• Prepare and issue invoices; monitor payments and follow up with members as needed.

Person specifications

• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage logistics, competing priorities, and multiple deadlines.
• Demonstrated experience supporting administrative processes such as scheduling, travel booking, document management, and coordination with external service providers.
• High attention to detail, particularly in maintaining accurate financial and administrative records.
• Confidence working with budgets, invoices, expense tracking, and basic bookkeeping tasks (training can be provided).
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word) and comfortable learning new systems quickly.
• Experience using digital tools such as CRMs or accounting platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Xero) is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear emails, documents, and reports.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement, and escalate issues appropriately.
• Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive or confidential information (e.g., HR records, board materials, donor-linked financial data).
• Strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented approach when supporting colleagues, members, and partners.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and maintain consistency in routine tasks such as timesheet consolidation and invoice tracking.
• A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to suggest and implement improvements to administrative or financial processes.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid or remote environment and managing workload with limited supervision.
