Our charity, the Jon Egging Trust, is looking for a highly motivated individual with experience of working with young people, to plan and deliver inspiring teamwork, leadership and employability programmes in North Wales. The role involves liaising with school staff, local partners (including the Military and local businesses) and volunteers to ensure programmes meet the needs of our young people and is supported by the Regional Manager, North Wales.
The successful candidate will be based from home with a requirement to travel to partner schools and business sites in and around Anglesey, Bangor and occasionally along the A55 corridor. Fuel expenses are paid and travel time is included as part of working hours. Working with secondary schools to provide early support programmes, core delivery time is usually within the school working day and during school terms only. All other working hours can be managed with flexibility by the post holder to ensure that all administrative tasks are completed as required.

Hygiene poverty is not being able to afford many of the everyday hygiene and personal grooming products most of us take for granted. It is not being able to replace a toothbrush when needed or sharing a toothbrush because one each just isn't an option. Hygiene Poverty is the hidden crisis facing the UK. In May 2024, The Hygiene Bank published their second groundbreaking research into the incidence and impact of hygiene poverty. It found that over 4.1 million adults across the country are currently experiencing hygiene poverty and that it is both alarmingly widespread, increasing and disproportionately impacts the most vulnerable. It stops people from participating in society, feeds the mental health crisis and blocks routes out of poverty. It is simply unjust.

About the role
As our Partnership Officer, you will have the exciting opportunity to make a huge difference in improving the lives of people living in hygiene poverty.
Reporting into the Head of Brand and Corporate Partnerships, the Partnership Officer plays a pivotal role in the brand and corporate team and is responsible for supporting, stewarding, renewing, and growing our brand and corporate partners to meet our income targets and to source donated product for our service users. Our partners range from emerging brands to strategic corporate partners and reflect a combination of financial support, skills-based support, brand donations and volunteering.

About Chapter One
Chapter One is a small but growing charity, working to ensure that every child has 1:1 reading support at the time they need it most.
Our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme currently supports about 3,500 children a year. It pairs disadvantaged, struggling five to eight-year old (KS1) readers with reading support volunteers who come from over 180 local and national businesses. The volunteer task is very focused: readers commit 30 minutes a week to read with a child using a bespoke digital platform for an entire academic year. The results are transformative, boosting children's reading confidence and ability.

About the role
Chapter One is seeking a proactive, energetic and enthusiastic Business Development Officer to be an integral part of a team which aims to both maximise corporate income and take Chapter One into new regions across the UK.

About the Role
TRAINING OFFICER
We provide training and consultancy to organisations that work directly with care-experienced young people, in order to upskill and develop professionals who are committed to improving outcomes for children in care and care leavers.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Training Officer to plan, design and deliver training content that makes a real impact. We are seeking an excellent facilitator to deliver this important provision, who is creative, professionally curious and has strong organisational and self-administration skills.
The Training Officer will be involved in delivering our standard courses, alongside developing new and innovative pieces of work, including digital, online and in-person training packages. They will also support the delivery, assessment and ongoing development of an accredited learning programme for Personal Advisers in Leaving Care Service Teams.
Location
Our team currently work remotely from home, with the required attendance of in-person meetings (generally expected once or twice per month). The Relationship Fundraising team at Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) is responsible for securing income from individuals, regional businesses and groups fundraising in the community, effectively managing relationships to maximise income.
The Relationship Fundraising role will play a significant part in contributing to a high-performing fundraising team. The role will cover the country of Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategy, finance, and reporting

- Hands on experience of working in a finance department of charities or not for profit organisations
- Experience of carrying out detailed reconciliations, and can demonstrate a keen eye for detail and a thorough and methodical approach in all work
- Strong IT skills with intermediate knowledge of Excel and cloud-based accounting software (preferably Xero)
- Ability to communicate effectively, accurately and succinctly in English, in writing and verbally
- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Experience of producing financial reports for a range of purposes
- Experience of working with multi-currency transactions and cash holdings
- Experience of working with EU funded grants

We are seeking a new Director of Fundraising to help us increase our income to support more families.
The successful candidate will set the strategic direction for fundraising, lead the team to build strong and sustainable income streams and ensure the charity has the resources it needs to deliver and expand our vital services.This is a wonderful opportunity to help shape the future of our small but mighty charity. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a multi-year fundraising strategy aligned to organisational goals.
- Lead income development and diversification across corporate, major donor, trusts and foundations, community fundraising and events.
- Lead the development of compelling cases for support, proposals, and donor communications.
- Build a strong corporate partnerships programme, including aviation sector engagement and charity of the year partnerships.
- Identify and cultivate major donor prospects, working closely with the CEO where appropriate.
- Grow individual giving, including regular giving, appeals, and legacy development.
- Oversee the trusts and foundations pipeline, ensuring high quality applications and stewardship.
- Provide strategic insight to the CEO and Board on fundraising performance, opportunities, and risks.
- As a member of our Senior Management Team, contribute to organisational planning, budgeting, and impact. reporting.
We are looking for someone with:
- Proven track record of delivering significant income growth across multiple fundraising streams.
- Experience developing and implementing fundraising strategies.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and developing teams.
- Demonstrable success in building relationships with high-value donors, corporates, or trusts.
- Experience working in a small or growing charity environment.
