About the role:
One role is based at Kings College Hospital the second role is based at Princess Royal University Hospital. As a Hospital Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will:
- implement effective ways of working with male victims and those supporting them to increase safety and reduce harm
- provide a high-quality, front-line service to male victims of domestic abuse, delivering a premium service prioritised according to risk, primarily focusing on victim/survivors aged 16+
- initiate, develop, maintain and monitor multi-agency links through procedures and protocols to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse
- specialise and be leading practitioner for Male victims of domestic abuse; providing advice, guidance and single point of contact for a male victims
You will need:
- Have a knowledge of help-seeking barriers and support needs of victims of domestic abuse (in heterosexual or same-sex relationships).
- Have a good understanding of domestic abuse including the impact of domestic abuse on victims and their children.
- Understand the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic abuse and their children
- Understand safeguarding issues, and the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues.
- Direct service delivery to victims of domestic abuse or other vulnerable people.
- Have excellent communication, negotiation and advocacy skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals. Understand and be committed to equal opportunities and diversity issues in policy and practice.

About the role
The Post Holder will work within Spires’ Women’s Service. This service is comprised of:

Centre-based support for women with complex needs who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. This also includes casework and supporting Spires’ Housing and Homelessness team.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Supporting a caseload of clients
· Completing one nighttime outreach shift a week (this is carried out in the Spires car)
· Supporting in the running of Spires’ women’s drop in services

About you
You will have previous experience of working with people exhibiting complex needs and people experiencing homelessness. You will also bring with you the following skills and experience:
· Experience of challenging appropriately and maintaining clear and appropriate boundaries.
· Networking and effectively liaising with specialist service providers or agencies in order to establish and/or improve access to services for clients.
· Sound understanding of the issues faced by women and other individuals involved in sex work.

Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Team Manager (Young Persons Service) on a permanent basis for two new Ofsted Registered Supported Housing Schemes in Lambeth, due to open in June 2024.
You, as the Team Manager will support a team of Housing Support Workers to support our young customers to remain in their home and take an active part in the community. The service provides care and support to over 60 customers living with enduring long term mental health. The role of our Support Worker play's a crucial role in fulfilling our customers expectations, making a positive difference and where appropriate supporting customers to step down to a lower level of support. Campbell Rd Young Peoples service provides support and housing for 55 young people in Tower Hamlets that are either leaving care of affected by youth homelessness. The Support Worker role will be to manage a caseload of approx 7-10 young people .You will be expected to deliver positive outcomes for all our young people and support them to reach independence, keep safe and maintain their tenancy's. Aside from support workers delivering support there is a strong element of housing management associated wit this role, for example managing rents, raising/monitoring repairs and health and safety.

The Merton Social Prescribing service is one of the most established and mature services in the UK and is celebrating its 7th anniversary this year. We are seeking an individual to join our successful service in Southwest London. This role will help to strengthen the links between Primary Care, voluntary and public services to improve patients’ health and wellbeing.
You will support patients within Primary Care GP practices in Merton, and you will support each patient to access appropriate services provided by voluntary and community organisations and other agencies. We expand the options available in Primary Care by creating a ‘managed’ way for referrals of patients with social, emotional and/or practical needs to a variety of local non-clinical services in the community. Summary of Role

Our client, a leading homelessness charity based in London, are looking for a Service Manager to lead a team of Support Workers in a complex needs service for homeless women in a central London borough. The service supports up to 18 female rough sleepers referred to service by local authorities, street outreach services and StreetLink.
Candidate duties:
- Line managing a staff team of up to 8 staff including both day and night support workers in a service with a total of 18 clients
