The Role

As Senior Communications Officer, you will:

• Develop and deliver SHA’s annual communications and media strategy.

• Collaborate with partner brands, communication teams, and external agencies to deliver impactful joint campaigns.

• Represent SHA at high-profile international events, conferences, and industry meetings.
   

This role requires a confident communicator who can balance strategy and execution, manage multiple projects, and consistently deliver high-quality, credible outputs.

About You

We are looking for a creative, strategic, and highly skilled communicator who can combine leadership with hands-on delivery.

Essential Requirements:

• Degree in communications, marketing, media, or relevant equivalent experience.

• Proven track record in communications and marketing (5+ years preferred).

• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex information into compelling messages.

• Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrable experience across multiple communication channels, including digital platforms.

• Confidence to act as a spokesperson, build media relationships, and represent SHA externally.

• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work with cross-functional teams, partners, and senior stakeholders.
   

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with communications platforms (e.g. Google Suite, Microsoft Teams, media database and distribution software).

• Experience managing budgets and working with external agencies.

The West Midlands Synod of the United Reformed Church is looking for an individual to provide technical expertise on buildings and property in support of Synod Officers, members of Synod Committees and local churches.

This post will involve some travel to properties around the West Midlands (Shropshire, Staffordshire (including the Black Country), Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Birmingham (including the Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield and Solihull Metropolitan Borough) and all of Gloucestershire except that covered by the South Gloucestershire Local Authority)

The successful candidate will be working to a wide brief and is expected to undertake a range of duties including, but not limited to, advising and initiating action on property issues in local churches, overseeing quinquennial inspections and manse inspections, and providing advice on property-related matters to Synod Committees.

• has experience of property matters either through extensive operational management or through the practice of a relevant profession, while holding appropriate qualifications at higher or professional level

About This Job

The Cadet Centre for Adventurous Training (CCAT) has two main delivery centres, Capel Curig Training Camp in North Wales which includes the Headquarters, and Halton Training Camp near Lancaster. It delivers an annual programme of Mountaineering, Paddlesport, Mountain Biking, Caving and Snowsport National Governing Body (NGB) accredited pathways leading to coach, instructor and leader qualifications for Army Cadets aged 15 plus and their adult volunteers.

CCAT also delivers a broad range of national Army Cadet overseas expeditions and a programme of concentrations from their partner centres in Scotland, southern England and Bavaria.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the CCAT team. We are looking for a self-motivated enthusiastic and experienced Support Officer to work with our Centre Manager at Halton.

You will support the Centre Manager ensuring that all of the administrative and logistical requirements are in place to enable safe, effective and enjoyable Adventurous Training courses and expeditions in accordance with current legislation, Army Cadet policies and NGB guidelines.

You may also be required on occasion to support AT concentrations delivered from our partner sites throughout the UK and assist with the delivery of a programme of national overseas expeditions.

This is a rewarding and flexible role. The position is a permanent full-time post (40 hours per week). The successful applicant will be required to travel occasionally. The starting annual salary for this post is £28,808.00.

Action for Refugees in Lewisham (AFRIL) is recruiting for a new Casework Manager to lead our growing and dynamic Casework and Advocacy Service.You will be joining an impactful local organisation at a crucial time in our development. We are looking for a hard working and dynamic leader who can balance the operational demands of casework and managing frontline services, with excellent HR skills and a keen interest in policy and developing partnerships. This is an exciting and integral role within a supportive and dynamic team at AFRIL. The role is available due to the advancement of the previous post-holder to a more senior post.

AFRIL’s Casework and Advocacy Service is a busy, professional team of 4 caseworkers (3 FTE) , a Community Activities Coordinator, and a number of volunteers. The team has grown significantly in the last 3 years, in response to the needs of our community and due to recognition of AFRIL’s high quality and relevant casework provision. The Casework and Advocacy Service provides AQS accredited complex casework and advice in the areas of Asylum Support, Housing, Benefits and Community Care. The service works to fill the gap, focusing on supporting those with complex vulnerabilities requiring wrap around support. AFRIL takes its services to where clients are; holding regular casework drop-in’s at asylum support hotels, community centres and at Lewisham Foodbank. AFRIL is also recently accredited by the Immigration Advice Authority to provide advice at Level 1, in both Immigration and Asylum and is currently in the process of becoming accredited at Level 2.

AFRIL’s Casework and Advocacy service uses casework trends and data to work with community members in order to engage in policy and systemic change. Utilising casework and community co-production, the service has created sector wide resources on asylum support, engaged in strategic litigation and successfully influenced local, pan-London and national policy outcomes. This is a growing area of work for the service and the successful Casework Manager will be required to balance high quality casework outputs and management of a team, while working closely with the Executive Director on emerging policy and advocacy work.

• Destitution Support - a fortnightly Food Bank in partnership with St Peter’s Church providing food, food vouchers, toiletries, and other essentials, alongside a warm hub with free cafe, information and support. Small grants for essential items and cash payments for food in emergencies. Securing and distributing gifts in kind, e.g. winter coats, laptops and data. 

• Allotment of Refuge - a welcoming community of food growers that supports improved health, wellbeing and integration of members, whilst protecting the local environment. 

• Immigration Project in partnership with Southwark Law Centre, providing free legal advice and representation to support people to regularise their immigration status. 

We use our frontline experience, together with our clients, to engage in policy and influencing work to improve the services and policies that impact our clients group. 

Hours: 37 hours per week 

Salary: £27,694 - £30,024 p.a. (NJC Spine Points 10 – 15). Salary to be at entry-level except for exceptional circumstances.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Creative Health Service Delivery Manager to lead the operational delivery of our flagship creative health services. You will take full responsibility for meeting NHS contractual requirements and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring services run smoothly, achieve outstanding outcomes and remain a trusted part of the healthcare pathway.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary delivery team, providing supervision, support and performance management
• Ensure accurate data, documentation and outcomes are maintained in line with Commissioner and organisational standards
• Drive quality assurance, ensuring learning is shared and improvements are embedded in practice
• Champion the delivery of high-quality programmes that support improved mental health and wellbeing

NSE leads the Church of England's national education initiatives in collaboration with 41 Diocesan Boards of Education and approximately 4,700 Church of England schools.

About SOS – Silence of Suicide

Founded in 2015 by Michael and Yvette Mansfield, SOS Silence of Suicide exists to break the silence around mental health and suicide. Initially a peer-support group, SOS is now a growing charity offering multi-channel support services via a national helpline, mobile hubs, and in-person outreach. With around 45 staff and volunteers, SOS is poised for further expansion and impact and is seeking a strategic and compassionate CEO to lead us through the next exciting phase of development.

The Role

The Chief Executive Officer will lead SOS’s strategic direction, operations, partnerships and fundraising. This includes shaping long-term sustainability, developing our team and enhancing our voice in national conversations centered around suicide prevention and mental health.

· Lead and manage the Senior Leadership Teams

· Deliver and grow SOS’s core services – helpline, hubs and outreach – ensuring high-quality, accessible support.

· Develop and implement a sustainable income generation strategy in collaboration with fundraising staff.
