We are now seeking an Deputy CYP Lead to join our CYP Team at this pivotal time on a permanent basis.

As a specialist charity supporting survivors of sexual violence across twelve South London boroughs, we provide counselling, group therapy, advocacy, prevention education, and professional training. With an annual income of approximately £4 million, we are growing and strengthening our infrastructure to better serve survivors and communities.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and committed Deputy Children and Young People (CYP) Lead to support the development and delivery of our therapeutic services at a pivotal time of growth and transformation.
 

Reporting to the CYP Clinical Lead, the successful candidate will play a key role in providing day-to-day leadership and guidance to CYP counsellors and therapists. You will help ensure that services for children and young people are consistently safe, effective, trauma-informed, and survivor-centred.
 

This is a varied and impactful role that combines clinical leadership, safeguarding oversight, service development, and line management. It offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to shaping, strengthening, and expanding high-quality CYP services.
 

What You’ll Do

• Support the CYP Clinical Lead with assessments, allocations and case distribution across CYP pathways
• Provide clinical guidance and day-to-day support to CYP counsellors and therapists
• Line manage allocated CYP staff and contribute to recruitment, induction and staff development
• Oversee group work programmes, including family support groups
• Undertake the role of Designated Safeguarding Officer for the CYP team
• Deputise as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead as part of the rota when required
• Provide guidance on complex safeguarding concerns and ensure appropriate escalation
• Contribute to service improvement, contract delivery and performance monitoring
• Build and maintain effective relationships with external agencies and partners
• Deputise for the CYP Clinical Lead where required

About You

• Degree-level qualification in counselling or psychotherapy (or equivalent experience)
  Professional membership with an accredited counselling/psychotherapy body
  Minimum of 200 hours post-qualification supervised client work
  At least 3 years’ experience working with children and young people affected by rape and sexual violence
  Experience leading or supporting a team
  Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation (children and adults)
  Completed Level 3 safeguarding training
  Experience in the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) sector
  Understanding of trauma-informed, survivor-centred and feminist practice
  Experience working with diverse communities
  Ability to use data and outcomes to support service improvement
• Experience working with marginalised or under-served communities
  Knowledge of housing, welfare benefits or related legislationn

Mindful Mums is an award-winning perinatal mental health and wellbeing peer support project that builds resilience and confidence in women and birthing people in the first year of motherhood.

We are seeking a sessional Project Worker to facilitate our structured, psychoeducational groups alongside our peer support volunteers. We are seeking a Sessional Project Worker to join our Perinatal Outreach service, to co-facilitate group support for perinatal clients (pregnant women and birthing people of children less than 2 years old) within the London Boroughs of Bromley and Greenwich.

You will help to support women under the care of the Oxleas Perinatal Mental Health Team with moderate to severe mental health challenges who have been identified as requiring additional practical and social support.

You will attend a regular programme of perinatal support groups and activities that encourage women to access outreach support within the local community, develop social networks and reduce isolation as part of their recovery plan. Current activities include weekly play sessions, walking group, soft play, picnics and monthly outings.

Applicants should have a good understanding of mental health challenges in the perinatal period alongside experience of responding to emotional crisis and managing risk. An ability to adapt to multiple and diverse needs, to be proactive and work independently but collaboratively is essential for this role.

We are seeking a qualified Specialist ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advocate) to join our Advocacy team at Respond. The role includes providing pro-active emotional, practical and advocacy support for adults with learning disabilities and autistic people with complex or multiple needs who have experienced any form of sexual violence and are engaging, (or considering engaging) with the criminal justice system. The ISVA will work across London to provide non-judgmental, trauma-informed emotional support, working in partnership with other London sexual violence support services. 

Our ideal candidate will have experience in the ISVA role as well as a friendly and relational approach to working with clients.  You will have the ability to build trusting relationships, work in an empowering and inclusive way and support clients to heal following sexual abuse and develop coping capacity. You will be a self-motivated individual who will engage with a wider range of people who have experience sexual violence, and other barriers to justice.

We’re currently recruiting two full-time qualified Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs) to work directly with young people in our Mental Health Support Team (MHST). For this post you need to have successfully completed the Education Mental Health Practitioner Post Graduate Diploma. Responsibilities include offering CBT based self-guided mental health interventions to primary and secondary aged children and young people and their families. This involves individual and group-based support as well as supporting schools to implement a whole school approach. The posts have scope and opportunity for developing new initiatives and ways of working to support young people’s mental health across South London.

All posts are based on-site (office/school) and may require flexibility to work across different service areas and interventions. Some evening and/or weekend work may be necessary to meet the needs of young people.

About the Role

As a Sexual Violence Outreach Worker you will provide compassionate, flexible, and connected support to clients who have experienced childhood sexual abuse and/or adult sexual assault, in order to help them engage with the support provided by the new Integrated Plymouth Sexual Violence Service.

Many individuals accessing the service will have experienced multiple adverse experiences and may present with complex, intersecting needs such as insecure housing, substance misuse, domestic abuse, and significant mental health challenges. You will provide support that aims to meet people where they are in order to build rapport and trust as the foundation for longer-term support and interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• To build secure, consistent, and trusting relationships through a highly person centred approach as previous experiences and trauma can lead to mistrust of services, and inconsistent engagement.
• Support individuals to explore their holistic needs to increase their physical and psychological safety, sense of control and while working collaboratively with multi agency partners to ensure coordinated, wrap around support.
• Identify barriers to individuals accessing the service and determine solutions
• Actively promote and maintain a visible service presence within relevant community and partner settings to build trust and encourage referrals
• Utilise a case management system to maintain accurate and professional recording of case records and contribute to monitoring information for the service including the collection of outcomes

About You

You will need:

• An understanding of the impact of sexual violence and complex trauma
• Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills

The Advice programme provides trusted information, resources, advice and casework in Spanish and Portuguese on key areas of need, including immigration, welfare entitlements, housing and homelessness prevention. We were founded in 2002 with a £20m grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and started life as a research group, the Schistosomiasis Control Initiative, within Imperial College London. Consistently ranked globally as one of the most cost-effective nonprofit initiatives, we have received significant funding since our inception including from the UK Department of International Development (DFID), USAID and philanthropic investors.

Our main area of focus is the elimination of schistosomiasis and soil-transmitted helminthiases (intestinal worms). Endemic infections of these parasitic worms are found in some of the world’s most marginalised communities, and they can have a hugely detrimental effect on individuals, including: 

• Reduced productivity
• Internal organ damage
• Impaired child development
• Reduced school attendance
• Increased risk of HIV in women
• Infertility

The role

This is a full-time role that works across all Unlimit Health’s key audiences for funding and communications. The Digital Marketing & Donor Engagement Advisor plays a crucial role in executing the delivery of a digital strategy for the charity which will underpin our strategic objectives and our income generation and awareness raising goals. 

The role sits in the Funding and Communications team.

You’ll be passionate about delivering exceptional online experiences, excited by what’s possible in the digital and social media space and be driven to use analytics to shape what you do across a wide range of marketing channels including social media, websites, email marketing.

With a flair for crafting the right message for the right audience, you will help us build stronger connections with existing supporters, as well as helping us to reach and inspire new donors and supporters.

You will have a keen interest in global health and be adept at explaining complex subjects in an engaging and accessible way to our target audiences.

The person

The Digital Marketing & Donor Engagement Advisor will have proven experience in marketing and fundraising at a professional level, with experience of MailChimp or other email marketing platforms. They will have strong knowledge and experience of content management systems in particular SEO, digital analytics platforms, data capture, monitoring and tracking. 

The successful candidate will have experience of working across teams and managing work with short deadlines without sacrificing quality of work or attention to detail, as well as the ability to organise workload and meet competing priorities.

One25 is a Bristol charity for women moving from crisis and trauma towards independence in the community. It is a highly respected charity working with some of the most marginalised women in Bristol.

One25 services have been developed to meet women at their point of need, with love and practical support. We do this through our night and early morning outreach service which is a lifeline for nearly 200 women on Bristol’s streets. Our Hub provides support for women to access health services and healthcare professionals. Our caseworkers offer intensive one-to-one care in any area of need: from support in court to finding somewhere safe to live.

We are recruiting a Van Outreach Worker to lead One25’s van outreach shifts on Saturday and Sunday nights every other weekend. The role provides support to women who are street-sex working, leads and supports a small team of volunteers on each shift, provides briefings and debriefs before and after shifts, and makes decisions relating to safeguarding and safety on the van. The role also involves an additional 2.5 hours across the week to connect with the wider team, complete admin tasks and for learning and development.

We are looking for someone who can bring compassion and a non-judgemental approach to their engagement with the women. This is a unique role, and every night can be different. You should have experience of supporting women with multiple disadvantages/complex trauma resulting from sex work, homelessness, domestic abuse, mental health or sexualised trauma. You should have great interpersonal skills and understanding of professional boundaries and confidentiality which help you to support the volunteers who keep One25’s services running. You should be confident, able to think on your feet and, when necessary, be decisive.

Hours: Fortnightly shift pattern – 14.5 hours across the fortnight.

• Week 1: 12 hours. This includes two weekend van shifts (9.5 hrs) and 2.5 hours to be worked Mon-Thurs for admin, meetings, supervision, training etc. Timings for the weekend van shifts are: Saturday 20:30 – 01:30, Sunday 20:30 – 00:30.
• Week 2: 2.5 hours. To be worked Mon-Thurs, between 9am & 5pm, for admin, meetings, supervision, training etc.

About the role

This role sits within Women and Girls Network’s CJS Team and provides rapid, short-term advocacy and support to survivors, in London, who have experienced sexual violence and are engaging with, or considering engaging with, the criminal justice system.

You will deliver brief, trauma-informed and survivor-centred support to people who are unable to access an ISVA locally or who are waiting for support through the London Survivors Gateway. Working across the Gateway partnership - including Rape Crisis Centres, Galop, Survivors UK, Respond, and the Havens - you will help ensure survivors receive timely, independent information and advocacy at a critical point.

As this is a pilot role, you will also play a key part in shaping and developing this specialist brief intervention ISVA provision in response to survivor need.

What you will be doing

As the Brief Intervention Independent Sexual Violence Advocate (ISVA), you will:

• Provide rapid, short-term independent advocacy, information and support to survivors navigating or considering the criminal justice system, enabling informed choice and access to rights.
• Deliver empowering, trauma-informed and intersectional support, including risk and needs assessments, safety planning and tailored action planning.
• Offer clear, impartial information about reporting options, the criminal justice process, survivors’ rights under the Victims’ Code, and available legal and compensation routes.
• Advocate on survivors’ behalf with police and criminal justice agencies, and support attendance at police stations or court where required.
• Work within strict safeguarding, confidentiality and professional boundaries, ensuring survivor safety and wellbeing remain central at all times.
• Develop and pilot a brief intervention ISVA model, contributing to service design, case management systems and best practice alongside the CJS Team Manager and Gateway partners.
• Build strong working relationships across the London Survivors Gateway partnership to strengthen pathways and improve access to timely support.
• Maintain accurate case records, monitoring and evaluation data, and engage in supervision, reflective practice and continuous professional development.
• Model WGN’s feminist, trauma-informed and anti-oppressive approach, contributing to a collaborative team culture and high-quality service delivery.

Ready to use your expertise to guide and support a team delivering early intervention mental health support to children and young people?

This is more than a clinical role. It's an opportunity to develop your leadership skills, support the growth of others and help shape the quality of mental health support delivered in schools.

As a Supervising Practitioner, you'll be part of our vibrant Compass Bloom Mental Health Support Team, working alongside schools to deliver evidence based interventions, promote whole school approaches to mental wellbeing and ensure practitioners feel supported, skilled and safe in their practice.

As part of this role, the successful candidate will undertake a postgraduate Supervising Practitioner qualification with Prestwich University, beginning in September 2026. You will complete your studies alongside your role within the service, developing the knowledge, skills and confidence to provide high quality clinical supervision and support to practitioners working with children and young people.

You'll hold a small caseload and work directly with young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, while also providing clinical supervision, reflective spaces and day to day guidance to colleagues. You'll play an important role in embedding good practice, supporting professional development and maintaining high standards of care.

Working closely with schools, Team Leaders and the wider Compass team, you'll help drive quality, consistency and innovation across the service. Whether you're supporting practitioners, contributing to service development or building strong relationships with partners, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to both the team and the children and young people we support.

About You

You care deeply about children and young people's mental health and are ready to bring your experience, empathy and professional expertise into a role where you can support both young people and fellow practitioners to thrive.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) experience working within children and young people's mental health services, or a Qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) qualification with a minimum of 2 years' post qualification experience

• Experience supervising others or supporting colleagues in a leadership, coaching or mentoring capacity

• A strong understanding of CBT informed approaches and evidence based interventions for children and young people

• Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with young people, families, schools and partner agencies

• A sound understanding of safeguarding, risk management and professional responsibility

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle or the ability to travel
