The Curriculum Lead will play a leading role in developing and delivering Frontline’s Approach Social Work programme, a fast-track master’s in social work and our internal Consultant Social Worker programme. ​

​This role involves leading the design and implementation of curriculum content, as well as contributing to teaching, learning, and assessment—both academic and practice-based.​

You will support the delivery of high-quality teaching materials across various formats, including online and in-person sessions. A key part of the role is developing and supporting Practice Tutors and Consultant Social Workers. This includes running curriculum briefings, contributing to training resources, and ensuring quality and consistency in the materials and guidance provided.​

This is a dynamic and rewarding role suited to someone with a strong interest in social work education, a passion for teaching and learning, and a commitment to maintaining the innovation and excellence of our programmes.

Some key responsibilities include:

• Influencing and helping shape programme content including ensuring the implementation of evidence-based knowledge, skills and interventions with the aim of reducing risk to children.​
• Promoting and introducing evidence-informed methods of teaching and assessing social work practice with families – drawing on the expertise of others in social work.​
• Designing and delivering innovative teaching content across regions and digital platforms, at postgraduate level in line with good pedagogic practice, HEI standards and statutory guidelines.​
• Ensuring programmes remain compliant with professional standards and regulatory requirements.​

A little bit about you 

We are looking for a registered social worker with experience in teaching and learning, and an intellectual curiosity to challenge and develop their own ideas by keeping up to date with current research and evidence. The role will suit someone who is passionate about the development of social work practice, innovation and leadership who has a thought-through vision of what excellent social work looks like.

SEL Mind are working in partnership with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust to deliver the Bromley Mental Health Hub (BMHH), as part of the ongoing transformation of mental health services in the London Borough of Bromley. The service integrates the expertise of local primary, secondary, and voluntary sector providers to offer flexible, holistic and person-centred support for adults experiencing mental health difficulties.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Peer Support Manager to join the BMHH team on a one year fixed-term basis. During the fixed-term period, the post holder will lead on reviewing, strengthening and developing the peer support pathway. You will play a key role in shaping support for our clients that enhances quality of life, choice and opportunity. You’ll be integral in leading the pathway to achieve its objectives to help clients improve confidence and resilience, reduce social isolation and encourage independence and integration into their local community. 

In addition, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational delivery of peer support in the BMHH, including line management of a Senior Peer Support Coordinator who oversees delivery of both one-to-one and group-based peer support, delivered by the wider peer support team. The role also holds responsibility for supporting the team in dealing with risk and safeguarding matters that may arise. Occasional out-of-hours work may also be required to support the team in their group delivery outside of core office hours.

The role requires excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, a commitment to recovery-focused practice, and the ability to work flexibly and collaboratively with SEL Mind colleagues and within a multidisciplinary team in partnership with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. You will have strong line management experience and experience of delivering peer support services, including experience of working with people who have complex or heightened needs. You will also possess a strong understanding of the principles of peer support.

Our Healthier Lifestyles Service includes a programme of seated and standing exercise, health checks and social engagement together with our 3 Memory Tree Cafés. Memory Tree cafes combine music and singing, dancing, reminiscence, exercise, activity and social interaction providing a safe and relaxing environment for older people living with dementia and their carers.

Our programmes are delivered in various settings across the borough including care homes, sheltered housing and community venues together with our own Brigstock Road Community Hall.

The Healthier Lifestyle team at Age UK Croydon offers a range of inclusive and accessible activities and events across the borough of Croydon combining exercise and social engagement in a variety of local settings.  These sessions help reduce isolation, improve independence, prevent falls, increase fitness levels and manage health conditions. They also provide social engagement and interaction, information and support around living with dementia, a safe and welcoming space for all to engage and relax.

Duties will include (but are not limited to) –

• Independently delivering chair-based exercise sessions on a daily basis in Croydon care homes to residents.
• Working as part of the health hub team to deliver health hubs in various Croydon locations.  If qualified also delivering standing exercise sessions.
• Developing and maintaining good relationships with care home, health hub venue staff and partner organisations or talk providers.

Our basis and values

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Night Care Supervisor with experience in care homes, adult health, social care, or community settings to lead our dementia care teams at Dunkirk Memorial House.

Evidence of professional development in dementia care is essential. You will inspire care teams to provide compassionate, high-quality support tailored to each resident’s needs. You will create personalised care plans, promote health and well-being, and ensure that the preferences and choices of residents are central to their care.
 
Work pattern: 37.5 hours per week, consisting of three 12.5 hour night shifts (19:45 – 08:15), including weekends with salary between £15.22 - £16.36 per hour (inclusive of night allowance).

Experience in care homes, adult health, social care, or community settings is required, along with skills in assessing needs, creating care plans, managing medicines, and providing compassionate end-of-life care.

About The Role
We are currently offering an incredible opportunity to play a crucial role in developing and implementing a new innovative service partnership in Manchester.  If you have experience in project or programme management, setting up services in partnership with health and social care, and are a dynamic individual that knows how to work across organisational boundaries, then we would love to hear from you.   
About you 
You will have experience leading the setup of high-profile services within the health and social care setting. You will have experience maintaining strong stakeholder and partnership relationships across all levels of organisations, and have excellent communication and influencing skills, particularly at a senior level. 
You will have experience in either service development project management or managing strategic change programmes, delivering results within set timelines and in line with organisational priorities.
