We are looking for a strategic, impact-driven Community Programmes Manager – to lead the continued growth and development of our Community Engagement Programme and our Garden Programme in alignment with our recently launched 2030 strategy.

This is a part-time role focused on strategic direction, partnership building, fundraising, and overseeing monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning (MERL) activities. The ideal candidate will be a confident leader with experience across programme strategy, community development, securing sustainable funding and amplifying user voice.

The Community Programmes Manager will work closely alongside our Community Engagement Manager to inspire local people to make a difference in their communities and influence change. This will be achieved through volunteering opportunities, user-led steering groups, and the scaling up of our advocacy initiatives. Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Community Outreach Manager to manage and expand our outreach efforts. The Community Outreach Manager will be responsible for leading a team to deliver Betknowmore UK's Community Outreach services, engaging with local communities, and supporting individuals impacted by gambling harms. 

This is a key leadership role that involves overseeing the service’s strategy, operations, and delivery, ensuring that services are accessible, effective, and meet the needs of diverse communities.

1. Leadership and Team Management:

2. Service Delivery and Development:

• Oversee the delivery of community outreach initiatives aimed at raising awareness of gambling harm and providing support to individuals and communities.
• Ensure the team is effectively engaging with local organizations, community groups, and other stakeholders to increase the visibility of our services.
• Monitor the quality of service delivery and make improvements where necessary to meet the needs of service users.
• 3. Strategic Planning and Service Improvement:
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement the strategic direction for community outreach services, ensuring alignment with Betknowmore UK's wider objectives.
• Continuously evaluate service effectiveness, gathering feedback from stakeholders, service users, and team members to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead the development and implementation of outreach campaigns and partnerships to engage at-risk communities.

4. Reporting and Compliance:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of outreach activities and case management, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and safeguarding procedures.
• Prepare and present regular reports on service performance, including outcomes, challenges, and achievements.
• Ensure that all outreach services meet organisational standards, as well as external regulatory requirements

5. Stakeholder Engagement and Networking:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including community organizations, local authorities, and support services.
• Represent Betknowmore UK at community events, conferences, and other networking opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with other service lines within the organization to ensure a holistic approach to supporting individuals with gambling-related harm.

Key Requirements

Essential:

• Must be London based as you will be required to attend community events and in-person meetings within the Greater London area.
• Significant experience in a leadership or managerial role within a social services, community outreach, or public health setting.
• Demonstrable experience in managing outreach or support services, with a focus on community engagement and impact.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage a team, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to analyse data and use insights to improve service delivery and outcomes.
• Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of work.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.

Desirable:

• Knowledge and understanding of gambling harm, its impact on individuals and communities, and the available support systems.
• Experience of working in or with the gambling sector, or experience of working with vulnerable or at-risk populations.
• A relevant qualification in social care, public health, or community outreach.

You will undertake a range of public affairs and policy activities that help sustain and grow our government funding and that secure positive outcomes for disabled children and their families. You will be acknowledged as a senior Family Fund representative across the disability sector, deputising for the Group CEO, or Directors on committees and at events as required.

About the role

At EngineeringUK we use evidence to make a real difference. Through research insight and robust evaluation, we work to improve the impact of our own work, as well as that of other organisations in our sector. Our aim is to make a positive difference to young people’s lives and securing the diverse engineering and technology workforce the UK needs to thrive. The research and evaluation team consists of 6 researchers and analysts who work to provide these insights.

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver and develop our evaluation projects, to help build an evidence-base for engineering and technology outreach activities and to shape how we use this evidence to inform our own and others’ practice.

With support from the Head of Evaluation and Impact, you will be the operational lead on our evaluations, with responsibility for:

• critically assessing the evidence required to ascertain impact of engineering and technology outreach activities across a complex landscape, with an emphasis on groups historically underrepresented in the engineering and technology professions
• designing and managing the evaluation of our educational programmes, including the practicalities and logistics of collecting/analysing these data, and reporting findings to internal and external stakeholders
• working with colleagues to embed learning from evaluation findings into our future activities and the wider evidence base on the impact of engineering outreach activity
• developing advice and guidance on evaluation and impact measurement to support the engineering outreach community to evaluate their activity more robustly.
   

This job would ideally suit an experienced monitoring and evaluation professional interested in evaluating education programmes with a focus on increasing opportunities for young people from underrepresented groups.

• Knowledge of and experience in using evaluation techniques/practices, ideally with familiarity of education outreach programmes
• Ability to design and use quantitative and qualitative data collection tools and analyse these data using widely used analysis software (for example, SPSS, STATA, R, CAQDAS)
• Experience in undertaking literature searches and reviews, identifying relevant evidence, appraising its quality, and summarising the body of existing work

We are seeking an Exhibitions and Collections Projects Manager to join the Crafts Council on a permanent basis. This is a vital role in the Public Programmes team to oversee the maintenance and development of Crafts Council Collections and the delivery of key temporary exhibitions.

Reporting to the Senior Collections and Programme Manager, this role will ensure the Crafts Council Collections are documented and preserved to a high standard for future generations. They will also support the strategic development of the Crafts Council’s programme, managing relationships with external commercial partners, artists and institutions, overseeing project budgets and timelines and contributing to reporting and evaluation frameworks.

This is a dynamic and hands-on role which involves working across the organisation and beyond to deliver and communicate best practice in exhibition production and collection management.

About You

• You will bring adept production and organisational skills to this role
• You will be confident leading the planning and delivery of exhibitions and collection projects working in collaboration with artists, partners, contractors and venues

• Facilitate accessibility of the Crafts Council Collections including Primary, Handling, Archive, Oral Histories and Library. Leading on both online accessibility via Collections Online and ensuring the collection is available to its audiences physically
• Ensure maximum impact from National Lottery Heritage Funded project 'Craft for the People' Is achieved, ensuring crafts council collection is available to a wider amount of people and is more resilient
• Oversee management of upcoming loans, arranging object transportation, entry and exit processes, loan agreements, mounting and conservation, where needed
• Lead on loans marketing and collections income generation projects
• Oversee collection management projects, including acquisitions, auditing, condition checking, improving packing, image and copyright licensing, object photography, location and movement control. Recording Information on Crafts Council's CMS Museum Index +
• Review and improve collections storage processes, embed collections trust benchmarks in security, building management system for temperature and humidity control, pest and disaster management

Salary
£31,500 gross per annum based on part-time working 32.65 hours / 4.5 days per week

Permanent, 32.65 hours / 0.9 / 4.5 days per week

A typical working day is 9.15-5.30pm, including a lunch break (unpaid). With some remote work, a minimum of three days per week are to be worked at Crafts Council office and gallery.

As a Future Frontiers Partnerships Manager, your role is to identify, develop and maintain mutually beneficial partnerships with organisations which work with us to enable our mission. This is key to delivering our work and making a lasting difference for young people from under-resourced backgrounds on their education and career journeys. 

The focus of the role is on building meaningful, long-term relationships with schools and/or businesses, to match young people from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds with business professionals who can provide insight into the world of work and guidance to help young people unlock their aspirations and develop the plans and skills they need to be successful. 

Our Partnerships Managers each have a focus on a priority audience, either schools or businesses, and on an activity area, either new business development or account management. The role we are currently recruiting for will have a main focus on driving new business from companies. 

Your responsibilities

The focus of each role could expand or change depending on the needs of the organisation. We are hiring a Deputy Manager to deliver quality services to children and young people with learning disabilities and/or Autism.  The job is based in our wonderful five bedded home in Tower Hamlets providing fun-based after school activities and short breaks for a small group of children with Autism in a residential setting.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Partnerships Manager to join our small and dynamic team. This new role will support the Head of Partnerships and wider WFN team in delivering our fundraising strategy, stewarding high-value donor relationships, and unlocking new opportunities for income growth. 

The Partnerships Manager will work directly with some of WFN’s existing portfolio of 30 Major Donors made up primarily of Trusts, Family Foundations and High-Net-Worth Individual (HNWI) supporters, with some Corporates.
