We are looking for an Evidence & Insight Analyst to support the delivery of the Crohn’s & Colitis UK Evidence and Insight programme, delivering evidence and insight across the whole range of experience of all those affected by Crohn’s and Colitis to support the strategic aims of Crohn’s & Colitis UK. 

The role

This role requires translation of quantitative and qualitative data into clear, actionable insights and stories that can be communicated effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the charity. The role also includes supporting the Evidence & Insight (E&I) team with the collation of existing evidence,  working with external agencies and partners to support the delivery of targeted E&I projects, developing networks, and horizon scanning across the sector to keep up to date on E&I programmes. The post-holder will have key involvement in supporting the communication of the  E&I team’s work across the charity by developing and coordinating a centralised resource for up-to-date reports, findings, and statistics.  The post holder will also contribute strategically to Evidence & Insight operations and documentation.

About you

We are looking for someone with a proactive mindset, who has a creative approach to exploring data.Ideally you will have already had experience of working in the charity or non-profit sectors and have strong analytical and technical skills including an understanding of CRM systems, conducting statistical analysis such as regression and hypothesis testing and be proficient in data management and manipulation using tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, SPSS, R or similar.  You will be adept at working collaboratively with team members and external stakeholders to support the delivery of targeted projects and be comfortable working in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities.

We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. In this role, there is plenty of scope for working from home, although there will be times when you will need to be at face-to-face meetings. The charity meets four times a year at its office in Hatfield for our mandatory ‘All Staff Together’ days. We also have 2 in person Directorate days a year and occasional team 'away days'.

About The Role 

As a Community Builder, you will be at the heart of our Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, supporting the charity’s objective to enhance reach with a focus on enabling a positive impact for members of the armed forces community facing challenges. You will do this by creating sustainable, community-led solutions that enhance their well-being. You will identify strengths within local communities, foster meaningful connections, and utilise this to create new networks and drive positive change.

Working closely with Community Development Managers across regions within the UK, you will create opportunities for members of the Armed Forces community (AFC) and their families to connect with Help for Heroes and their local community. 

About You 

You will have experience of working alongside communities to create the conditions for community-led change, ideally with experience of Asset-Based Community Development. You will have good organisational skills, energy and the ability to listen, build relationships, and inspire collaboration which will be essential in creating positive, lasting change. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Conduct outreach to celebrate community strengths and foster engagement. 

• Develop and embed an ABCD-informed way of working. 

• Identify ‘Connectors’ across the community and provide opportunities for them to come together regularly to exchange learning and map community assets. Facilitate gatherings that empower community members to share their strengths, co-create initiatives, and foster a sense of belonging and ownership. 

• Encourage and support community-led action in response to local AFC interests / aspirations through peer led/ co – designed initiatives.

We are looking for someone with: 

• A Community Development qualification and/or experience of taking an asset-based approach to community development with transferable skills. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships that drive action. 

• A track record of successful collaboration with internal and external partners and stakeholders. 

PLEASE NOTE: 

• The successful candidate will need to be based within a 30-minute commute of the centre of their allocated locality and there is a requirement to travel regularly within a 75-mile radius of this location (travel expenses covered). There will The successful candidate must possess a valid full UK driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle with business insurance for work purposes. 

• There will also be a requirement for occasional travel to other UK locations for meetings and events depending on the charity’s needs such as our annual all colleagues in person event.

• The successful candidate will work 35 hours per week over 5 days, Monday - Sunday. Core working days will be Monday to Friday; however, flexibility is essential, as regular evening and weekend work will also be required to meet the needs of the role. Working hours will vary to ensure a total of 70 hours is covered over a two-week period, so please take this into consideration before applying.

You will be part of a newly formed Community Development team, dedicated to embedding Asset-Based Community Development. We will amplify the strengths already present in communities, forging lasting partnerships and initiatives that empower the Armed Forces community to thrive. You will do this to proliferate opportunities for sustainable participation and engagement alongside a multi-disciplinary team in order to support the Armed Forces Community to live well after service.

The Jewish Museum London has undergone substantial positive change over the past two years, moving out of our Camden site and moving to a ‘Museum without Walls’ model. With new leadership installed at both lay and staff levels and a consultation process underway for the development of a five and fifteen-year strategy the Museum is looking for a new member of the team to assist in running the day-to-day administration of the organisation.

Our museum is made up of passionate and expert staff and a collection of over 40,000 objects which are both accredited and designated with Outstanding status by Arts Council England. Our learning programmes hold multiple awards, and our visitor feedback is consistently very high, however, we have much bigger ambitions than our current success. The Museum is looking to expand, in space, in profile and in audience reach. Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team the appointed candidate will have the organisational and administrative skills to ensure the Museum can effectively run its programmes and help grow the organisation.

The main role of the Executive Assistant will be to administrate the activities of the Museum. Job Information: This Service Development Manager role has two focus areas: one is the development of our Drugs In Breastmilk Information service ensuring it adapts to the changing preferences and needs of our audience moving forwards (15-hour maternity cover contract). The second is looking at BfN information accessibility more broadly (6 hour fixed term contract).

Molly Rose Foundation was founded following the death of 14-year-old Molly Russell. At Molly’s inquest, a coroner ruled harmful online content contributed to her death. That’s why we’re working to create a safer online world and to connect young people with the help and support they need to stay safe and well.

As Supporter Care Officer you’ll help to build our fundraising activities by working closely with the Head of Fundraising and Partnerships to grow, diversify and sustain our income generation. You’ll provide excellent care and guidance to our supporters and create plans to grow our activities across individual giving, challenge and community fundraising. We’re in the early stages of growth and this new role offers an exciting opportunity to help build a fundraising department from the ground up.

You’ll have some experience in fundraising and/or the charity sector and will be keen to develop your skills and work across multiple functions in a small, fast-moving team. Alternatively, you might be looking for an entry route into fundraising as a career path and have suitable transferable skills and a growth mind-set.

You’ll be excited by the challenge of helping to build our fundraising department from the start point, and driven by the opportunity to facilitate change that really counts in the long-term. We'll help to be the best you can be in this role and will provide a supportive and progressive environment for you to flourish in as the charity grows.

The Cathedral Chapter is in the process of refeshing its Mission and Vision within a Strategic Development Plan (due to be published in early 2026), and as part of this the Cathedral’s fundraising priorities will be decided and a Fundraising Committee formed to oversee and direct the task of building sustainable income within a fundraising strategy. The Head of Fundraising will be responsible for drafting this strategy and enacting it once complete, and for all other aspects of fundraising at the Cathedral. With the assistance of a Fundraising Officer, the Head of Fundraising will be responsible for delivering the various Fundraising income streams.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

Educational
- Degree level, or equivalent experience.

Experience
- In-depth knowledge and experience of fundraising at management and implementation level.
- Evidence of success both in achieving targets and in managing staff and strategies.
- Experience of managing and delivering change – both with staff and with projects.
- Experience in managing income/budgets.

Knowledge and Skills
- An understanding of and willingness to promote the distinctive ethos of the Church of England and of Guildford Cathedral.
- Clear, compelling and articulate verbal and written communication skills.
- A high level of new technology competence including the use of digital media (website, search), social media, and CRM software.
- The capacity to value the volunteers who work in the Cathedral and to respond to the needs of those who come seeking help and advice.

- A good manager and engaging team player, with the personal qualities necessary to work well with other members of the Cathedral team, both paid and volunteer.

They will have excellent spoken and written communications skills and a track record in organising exciting online and in-person events. Some fundraising experience would be an advantage, but above all, they will have a passion for wellbeing - of people and of the planet.
