Job Title: Female Recovery Worker
Location: This residential site, located in Brighton, benefits from great transport links, with Hove Station and several local bus routes nearby. Kindly be aware that step free access is not available at this service.
Salary: £25,000
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with rotating shifts of 08:00 - 16:00, 10:00 - 18:00, and 14:30 - 22:00. You will be required to work bank holidays as part of a rota, in line with the needs of the service.
About the Role
We are hiring a Recovery Worker to join our Women's Service based which is based in Hove. The service provides low, medium, and high level support to women who have experienced homelessness, criminal justice history, substance use, mental health, and domestic abuse. As a Recovery Worker, you will be at the forefront of providing person centred support, to help our residents overcome personal challenges, and meet their desired goals/outcomes. You will do this through various support plans and interventions, running and participation of activities, and working alongside various internal and external partners.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Initiate appropriate interventions to prevent crisis or other risks.
- Ensure service responsibilities and requirements are carried out effectively.
- Develop, participate in, and encourage residents to participate in the running and development of various projects and activities.
- Empower residents to make decisions to take control over their lives, by creating an enabling environment.
- Provide advice, information, guidance, and life skills training to residents as required.
- Recognise signs of deteriorating mental health, physical health, or other health implications.

You will have:
- An understanding or willingness to learn the impact of homelessness on women from different backgrounds and multiple needs
- Experience of working with people with multiple and complex needs
- Ability and willingness to show flexibility of working patterns, responding to the needs of the service and residents
- Understanding of the housing and social needs of people with multiple and complex needs
- Able to influence and negotiate positive outcomes with others
- IT Proficiency, ability to learn new software programs, basic Microsoft experience is required

Job Purpose
We’re looking for a talented and motivated Communications and Engagement Officer who can effectively convey the life-changing impact of our work, motivate our community to volunteer, donate and fundraise to support our work, and ensure that the information and educational resources we provide reach those who need them most.
Key Responsibilities
Communications:
· Act as the first point of contact for IPWSO’s public email address and social media channels and ensure timely and appropriate replies.
· Manage IPWSO’s social media channels, creating original and engaging content and posts, and actively engaging with our audiences.
· Manage Google Ad Grant campaigns with an emphasis on growing our supporter base and increasing individual giving.
· Keep up to date with emerging trends in digital communications and social media and recommend potential new channels for fundraising and audience engagement.
· Support the development of videos for IPWSO, in cooperation with IPWSO’s Project Manager and other colleagues. The type of work to be undertaken includes providing support for content development, speaker recruitment, filming and editing, as well as helping source external agencies as needed.
· Maintain and develop the IPWSO website ensuring its security and that it functions both as an effective supporter acquisition tool and a means by which people can easily access information about PWS.
· Produce compelling newsletters and an Annual Report.
· Support the review and update of IPWSO’s Communications Strategy in line with its Strategic Plan.
· Uphold and showcase the IPWSO mission and brand.
· Help oversee the production and design of a range of educational resources for families and professionals.
· Oversee copywriting and proofreading within IPWSO.
· Support IPWSO’s members and liaise with its stakeholders internationally in support of our shared goals.
Engagement:
· Provide support for online events programmes, in cooperation with IPWSO’s Project Manager and the Online Events Committee. The type of support to be provided includes hosting Zoom sessions, supporting speakers, follow up administration including evaluations.
· Support IPWSO’s Famcare Board by facilitating their online meetings and assisting with their online events.
· Work with the Project and Operations Manager to provide membership support, liaising with IPWSO’s member organisations as needed.
· Proactively engage with member associations to promote IPWSO and also to understand their needs and how IPWSO can be of help.
· Work with the Project and Operations Manager on our Educational Outreach programmes. Work will include liaising with event organisers with regards to IPWSO’s booths at different conferences, ensuring follow up as needed (including help with preparation of PowerPoint slides), engagement follow up including data entry to update our database (Donorfy).

Carer Wellbeing Workers provide invaluable services to help improve carers’ resilience and ensure they are supported to maintain their caring roles. They provide tailored information and advice, practical, emotional and planning support, peer opportunities, contingency planning, active listening and through partnership working are pro-active in the identification of carers.
Using experience of working with adults and families, a working knowledge and / or lived experience of social care and health, the postholder will use excellent communication and interpersonal skills to offer carers one-to-one and group support either face to face, via the telephone or using virtual video mediums such as Zoom or MS Teams.
The role is a mix of remote / homeworking and community venues. You will be expected to be readily able to travel across Adur, Arun and Worthing to deliver carer support and on occasion to venues across the County to attend meetings and training as required.

Are you passionate about animals and looking for a job in campaigning, public policy change, public affairs and stakeholder relations? As Campaigns Assistant, you’ll support the delivery of impactful campaigns led by our Campaign Managers and support high-profile projects like World Animal Day and various events.
To be considered, we’ll be looking for motivated, resilient candidates with relevant experience or skills developed in an animal welfare (or related) degree or more general public policy and campaigning. The successful candidate would need to be organised, with a sharp eye for detail, able to deliver projects on time, whilst working as part of a team. You’ll need a strong ability to multi-task and prioritise, as no day is ever the same.
This is a full time or part time permanent role offering a salary around £23,000, depending on skills and experience.

The Role
The Senior Digital and Content Manager leads the development and delivery of Malaria No More UK’s digital content strategy — shaping how we inspire action, influence decision-makers and elevate diverse voices to drive progress against malaria.
This is a pivotal role at a pivotal moment. You’ll design and deliver a digital engagement strategy that advances our advocacy and policy change goals, responds to the fast-moving communications landscape, and builds understanding, belief and momentum for investing in the fight to end malaria.
Combining strategic thinking, creative storytelling and digital innovation, you’ll position Malaria No More UK as a bold, credible and solutions-focused voice in the global malaria fight. Managing one staff member (Digital Engagement Officer), you’ll collaborate across the organisation to ensure our digital strategy delivers measurable influence and impact — while staying true to our brand voice: togetherness, momentum and possibility.
The average day in this role will be changeable, so being flexible and good under pressure is essential. Purpose of the Role
Faith underpins all our work and, in this key role the post holder will support the Christian journey by providing resources for personal prayer, spiritual guidance, corporate worship, religious education, and contribute to and participate in member and central charity led events and worship.
This role will explore and research issues about the Christian faith that are relevant to Mothers’ Union, keep the rest of the Charity up to date on issues in the Anglican communion and wider church – and input into the design of MU strategic aims, and work collaboratively with organisations externally on developing resources and implementing faith-based initiatives.
This role will also be responsible for managing Mothers’ Union’s Church-based membership and our Faith and Diocesan Chaplains member-based forums.
However, the focus for this role will be the proactive outreach, development, and maintenance of faith related relationships primarily in Britain and Ireland. This includes creating and managing high-level networks of Christian influencers, Bishops and the wider clergy, and key faith-based organisations to improve the profile, understanding and integration of Mothers' Union within the Anglican communion and ecumenically and to grow our reach, membership numbers, and influence.
A key remit of the Faith & Church Engagement Manager post will be to participate and contribute to our faith-based discussions and resources within Mothers’ Union. For this reason, the post holder must be a practicing Christian. (Occupational requirement Equality Act 2010).
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Faith management and resources
1. To lead on the development of faith resources within Mothers’ Union (MU) and lead the strategic planning of all faith initiatives, theological rationales for Mothers’ Union specific initiatives and the overall mission.
2. To ensure that MU employees understand as part of the induction process and throughout their employment, how faith guides the work and relationships of MU.
3. Working with the Director of Membership, contribute to the strategic plan for all faith initiatives and clergy and church relations within Mothers’ Union.
4. To lead MU’s faith-based forums, to work where needed with the Worldwide Board and our Central Chaplain.
5. To facilitate theological underpinning to inform our work by exploring, researching, and gathering relevant data from various sources to keep abreast of new developments and initiatives.
6. To generate faith and church-based content for our website, magazine and newsletters and deliver MU’s prayer diary and oversea Midday Prayers.
7. To work with Mothers’ Union Enterprises on resources and products that have a faith dimension or spiritual content.
8. To work with our Worldwide President or designated member of the Worldwide Board to deliver faith and worship materials for Board and Worldwide Council meetings.
9. To receive, monitor and review MU’s worldwide resources to encourage and develop the contribution these make to the distinctive faith work of Mothers’ Union.
10. To maintain and develop all Faith Resources, identifying and developing new and uniquely MU resources to be added and archiving when required dated resources.
Membership Support – Britain and Ireland
1. To produce creative and accessible prayer and worship resources for use within our membership and more widely.
2. To identify the needs of members at every level for up-to-date information and resources on theology, faith, spirituality, worship/liturgy, Christian ethics and pastoral issues for group or individual use, and to commission a range of resources to meet those needs.

4. Working closely with the Director of Membership and wider Membership team, to plan and lead faith aspects at conferences and meetings as requested.

Work Location
This role will be based at our Head Office in Central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. 2wish exists to provide support to anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under.
Aims:
- Ensure every Emergency Department and Critical Care unit has a suitable bereavement suite
- Ensure that bereavement boxes are available at each of these hospitals
- Ensure that immediate bereavement support is available for all affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
- Provide a professional counselling service and other therapies for those affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
- Provide support to individuals who witness the sudden death of a child or young person
- Provide support and training to professionals from any sector who may be affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
- To advocate and campaign on behalf of suddenly bereaved families
2wish Cymru and 2wish:
2wish has been established since 2012 and has since grown from strength to strength. During this time, we have worked tirelessly to embed our service and ensure that the offer of support is made at the point of death.
We offer an immediate, consistent, high-quality and compassionate service to all individuals affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under. We work in partnership with professionals who refer into the charity on behalf of families, so they don’t have to trawl through the internet for an organisation who may, or may not, be able to support. We provide immediate, and ongoing, support and are here for as long as our families need us.
We were founded as a Welsh organisation providing immediate casework support, as well as ongoing aftercare services including counselling, alternative therapies, play therapy, support groups, support events and a respite cottage. In January 2024, we expanded into ‘phase one’ England, namely Cheshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Somerset. And in July 2025 we expanded into ‘phase two’ England, namely Merseyside, Devon and Cornwall, Wiltshire, Dorset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Context of role:
The Immediate Support and Debrief Manager will lead the development, coordination, and delivery of our specialist immediate support service for families, professionals and individuals affected by sudden bereavement. You will be responsible for ensuring that our services are trauma-informed, responsive and delivered to a consistently high standard supporting the complex and individual needs of those who have experienced profound loss.
This role will oversee the existing immediate support service delivered across Wales and the expansion phases across England. You will manage a team of fifteen individuals who are a mixture of full and part time roles. This is a unique and hugely rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of suddenly bereaved individuals across our communities.
You will work closely with the Children and Young People Service Manager and the Therapies Assessor and Service Manager to provide a holistic, joined up service to all who access our service.
Main duties:
Service:
- To manage the bereavement service including the operational delivery of immediate support and debriefs, ensuring the service is delivered consistently, responsively and to a high standard
- To oversee the database of 2wish Champions within hospitals and police forces across Wales and the two phases of England
- Lead upon, develop and maintain safeguarding practices and procedures in line with national guidelines and attend the bi-monthly internal Safeguarding Committee meetings.
- To oversee the delivery and develop training delivered to professional partners
- Oversee and manage a database of stakeholder contacts and families ensuring that Data Protection legislation and GDPR guidelines are implemented and adhered to
- To work closely with the Head of Bereavement Services to ensure delivery and growth of services
- Attend bereavement forums and other relevant meetings as required by, or in place of, the Head of Bereavement Services
- To be able to provide outstanding immediate emotional support and advice to families and those we support as required
Management:
- To lead, motivate and line manage the immediate support team responsible for delivering our immediate support and debrief service
- Manage a diverse team, organise regular team meetings and set realistic but challenging objectives to further the work of the charity
- To carry our monthly supervisions and bi-annual appraisals with the Immediate Support Coordinators
- To carry out monthly case reviews with the Immediate Support team
- To produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to evidence activity and impact

Salary: Starting salary of £32,000 per annum, with the opportunity for an increase through the annual appraisal structure.
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Normal office hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, although alternative hours may be worked with line manager agreement. Work outside office hours may sometimes be necessary and will be compensated for by time off in lieu.
Annual leave: 28 days plus bank holidays. Annual leave steadily increases after five years of service. Annual leave and statutory holidays are calculated on a pro rata basis where applicable.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join ATLEU, a leading anti-trafficking and human rights charity. We are looking for an inclusive, creative, talented facilitator, with exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to be our Participation Manager.
The Participation Manager will facilitate survivors of trafficking to use their experiences to support the development of ATLEU’s work and services and to improve policy and practice across the anti-trafficking and legal advice sectors. Working with group members, this individual will be responsible for supporting the expansion of the group (The Changemakers) and the remit of ATLEU’s participation work from January 2026 when the current projects come to a close, ensuring new members are inducted and supported to engage and lead in future projects. The overall aim of the participation and activism work is to integrate survivors at all levels within ATLEU, as well as creating a project that offers different levels of engagement, depending on the interests and capacity of individual group members.
The Participation Manager is a key member of the Rise and Lead project team, which is a groundbreaking new employment pathways project in partnership with Southeast and East Asian Centre (SEEAC) and Voice of Domestic Workers for those with experience of human trafficking and migration.

Although just a small team, ATLEU’s work has led to significant changes in law and policy. Since we were established in 2013, we have led the way in ensuring that survivors of trafficking have access to free, independent legal advice by enabling access to legal aid, across the range of issues survivors experience. For example, our litigation against the Legal Aid Agency led to their concession that legal aid provision was insufficient for victims of trafficking and an increase in the number of trafficking compensation cases that legal aid providers were contractually able to assist with each year (from 5 up to 100). Following litigation on behalf of our client LL, the Legal Aid Agency agreed that victims of trafficking were legally entitled to free immigration advice on applying for leave to remain in the UK on the basis of their trafficking experiences and publicised this entitlement.

Salary Band: £31,374 – £37,772 pro rata per year. Starting salary will depend on the level of candidate’s experience

Objectives of the post

To lead on the development of ATLEU’s participation strategy including a plan for implementation.

Main Responsibilities
Strategy development
1. Using the framework of ATLEU’s 5-year strategic plan, develop ATLEU’s participation strategy creating an annual plan to deliver on our organisational vision.
2. Develop and maintain positive relationships across ATLEU’s team staying up to date with different areas of organisational work in order to create opportunities for collaboration and coproduction with the Changemakers, finding flexible and creative ways to integrate new opportunities into the annual plan.
Developing ATLEU’s Changemakers group
3. Recruit and induct people with lived experience of trafficking to be active participants in the Changemakers.
4. To facilitate meetings of the Changemakers ensuring activities are accessible and inclusive for all participants.
5. To secure opportunities for skills and knowledge development through internal and external training.
6. Conduct needs assessments to identify safeguarding, support needs and development goals and provide practical and emotional support where required.
7. Nurturing the wellbeing and solidarity of the group, providing individual pastoral support, coordinating reflective practice sessions and group activities.
8. Review, adapt, and agree terms of reference and foundational values with the group.
9. To manage the annual lived experience budget.
Building the power of survivors within ATLEU
10. To be an effective liaison between the group and the Director, trustees and wider staff team.
11. Understanding how ATLEU works as an organisation and its key activities and facilitating regular communication between Changemakers and ATLEU’s people.
12. Create opportunities for collaboration, co-creation and leadership for ATLEU’s Changemakers members.
13. Identifying potential opportunities for Changemakers to take on paid roles within the organisation, defining the scope of the role, recruitment/ selection of individuals for the roles, and supporting individuals to gain experience of working independently (eg. peer research training development, training delivery).
14. To take a creative and flexible approach to working with the group, to understand their priorities and goals and find ways to steer and adapt their ideas so that they can be delivered within an organisational context.
15. Work with ATLEU’s Director, Head of Operations and People and Inclusion Manager to create pathways for people with lived experience of trafficking to participate in ATLEU’s governance and decision-making, including at trustee board level and development of funding proposals.
16. Support the delivery of ATLEU’s Rise and Lead Fellowship project helping to create an employment pathway for people with lived experience of human trafficking and migration in the advice and anti-trafficking sector.
17. Support the Rise and Lead Project Manager with the development of a bespoke inclusive recruitment programme and the delivery of the training fellowship, and the project monitoring and evaluation and dissemination of learning.
Coproduction with the Changemakers
18. Working with ATLEU’s Changemakers to act as agents of change, to influence external stakeholders (e.g. anti-trafficking organisations, policy makers, parliamentarians, media) and share their expertise, whilst ensuring the necessary safeguarding is in place.
19. To work with the Policy Manager and Communications and Public Affairs Officer to facilitate people with lived experience of trafficking to inform, shape and co-produce:

About the team
The media team strategically leads on both proactive and reactive media activity, engaging with journalists to support WaterAid’s mass engagement, partnerships, brand awareness and political influencing.
As our Senior PR Manager, you will lead the public relations function for WaterAid and work closely with the three senior media officers you manage, to drive sustainable change.
In this role, you will:
- Lead on developing and delivering innovative integrated, digital first PR campaigns that achieve impactful national, international, local and digital coverage, to support our fundraising and public engagement activities, build WaterAid’s profile, and align with wider organisational aims
- Manage our media around our high-profile strategic partnerships to deliver media projects that meet shared objectives and help our partners become influencers in their sector to drive change
- Work with the Celebrity and Influencer team to develop effective ways to work with high-profile supporters to build awareness of WaterAid and our work
- Act as a media spokesperson for WaterAid as required, briefing journalists on and off the record and giving media interviews where necessary
- Provide professional advice and support to colleagues in the UK, including our Chief Executive and within the WaterAid federation involved in media relations work, and identify opportunities to coordinate media moments across the organisation
- Manage reputational issues where appropriate in coordination with the Head of Media
- Write and edit copy as required for print and web outlets
- Monitor and evaluate coverage and the wider impacts of our media work to guide future strategies
- Build and maintain relationships with key journalists and broadcasters including the planning and managing of trips to country programmes with journalists, celebrities or for content gathering
- Join the 24/7 on-call rota and be prepared for travel in the UK and overseas - usually around two weeks per year - as well as some work outside normal office hours, as necessary

Requirements
To be successful, you will need:
- Experience of leading, managing and motivating others and driving change
- Considerable proven experience of working in an in-house media team or PR agency
- Proven experience of creating and delivering effective and innovative integrated, multi-channel media campaigns with digital media at their core
- Proven experience of liaising with journalists of all levels especially national and consumer media
- Experience of utilising digital and social media to deliver PR objectives and aligning media work with owned, shared and paid activities
