We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Project Worker to support and sustain the Mockingbird programme across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with fostering services, making a meaningful impact on the lives of children and young people in care.

Position: Project Worker – Mockingbird
Salary: £32,480 – £37,555 per annum (plus London weighting if applicable)
Location: Home base in the North of England/Midlands with travel required throughout the UK.

About the Role

As a Mockingbird Project Worker, you will play a vital role in expanding and embedding the Mockingbird model—a ground-breaking, evidence-informed approach to foster care. You will provide direct support and quality assurance to fostering services, helping them implement, grow, and sustain Mockingbird constellations.

You will:

• Deliver remote and in-person support, training, and guidance to local fostering teams.
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with delivery partners and stakeholders.
• Ensure quality assurance through coaching, ongoing assessment, and resource development.
• Contribute to the design of training content and programme events.
• Represent the Mockingbird programme internally and externally, championing its benefits and impact.
• Support the operational delivery of the programme across the UK.

About You

• Experienced in training, coaching, or project work within fostering or children’s services.

Creative Support is seeking committed Waking Night Support Workers for an exciting opportunity to join our team under the Transforming Care Agenda using a Trauma Informed approach. The Intensive Support Service provides bespoke supported living services in the Bury/Heywood area of Greater Manchester to adults over the age of 18 with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and complex needs.

The service operates 24/7 using a trauma informed and case management model of care to provide support and opportunities for increased independence in the community for three adults. In your role as Waking Night Support Worker, you will support residents with shopping, cooking or baking, household tasks and meeting personal care needs, as well as meeting unique personal goals. You will be happy working in a consistent, predictable way, enjoying a calm and quiet environment that meets each individual service user’s needs.

About the role:

This role is based in Rochdale Police station along with limited hybrid working, you must be prepared to support perpetrators of domestic abuse holistically to address their support needs in order for them to be ready to engage in a behaviour change programme.

As a Perpetrator Caseworker you will:

• Work with male perpetrators to access services, i.e housing, mental health support and drug and alcohol services.
• Encourage positive options for behaviour change throughout the service user's time in the service. Using a combination of motivational work, relationship building and a broad range of skills to encourage service users to address their abusive behaviour.

You will need:

• Excellent understanding of domestic abuse and stalking, including the impact on victims and their children, and the legal and practical remedies available.
• Belief in perpetrator behaviour change.
• Empathy and the ability to support and guide your service users, demonstrating excellent advisory, negotiation & persuasive skills.
• Experience of working directly with perpetrators of domestic abuse in a statutory, voluntary, social or community work setting.
• A good knowledge of effective ways of working/engaging with perpetrators of domestic abuse.

• Ideally a background in Domestic Abuse Services, Probation, Homelessness or the Police would be advantageous.

• Job title: Regional Support Officer (x4) – North, Mid, South-West and South-East Wales
• Salary: £29,680 – £33,920 pa (FTE)
• Hours: 3 – 4 days per week (0.6 – 0.8 FTE), 21 – 28 hours per week
• Location: Remote, home-based
• Summary of Role: To support social enterprises and community groups through a range of direct interactions, resources, networking, and signposting, ensuring excellent member experience, retention and growth.
