Stewardship is looking for an Accounts Examiner to join our growing Accounts Examination Team, helping clients prepare and review receipts and payments accounts, identify key financial and regulatory matters, and offer practical, thoughtful support that strengthens good financial stewardship.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Undertake and oversee the preparation of year end ‘Receipts & Payments’ accounts for our client charities with income up to £500k.
• Undertake, or review, independent examinations of charity ‘Receipts & Payments’ accounts.
• Provide fee quotes to clients and monitor job costs against this budget. Provide explanations for variances from budgeted fees and negotiate additional fees if required.
• Review the information we receive to identify any significant financial and regulatory issues that need to be brought to attention of our client charities.
• Working collaboratively with a team of experienced accountants who share a passion for church and charity finance.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of our services and resources.
• Provide ad hoc advice to client charities on a whole range of technical issues (which may include advice on bookkeeping, accounting issues and arrangements, internal controls, gift aid, taxation and regulatory compliance) where appropriate

What We’re Looking For

• Bookkeeping experience
• Experience of / a desire to be involved in Christian finance, working with church/charity finance teams, treasurers & trustees.

About the Role

As Member Network Account Manager, you will be the main contact for several Member Networks. This includes advising on governance, finance, volunteer recruitment, events and wider activity planning. You will also build strong relationships, coordinate events, and work collaboratively with teams across the organisation to ensure Member Networks are supported effectively and can achieve their objectives.

A day in the life may include:

• Advising and guiding volunteers on governance, finance, awards, planning and compliance matters
• Supporting Networks to deliver their activity plans by monitoring progress, managing timelines and helping ensure activities remain within agreed budgets and objectives
• Coordinating events and projects that drive member engagement, including budget creation, venue liaison and travel bookings
• Managing shared inboxes and responding to enquiries with clear advice and signposting
• Attending meetings, recording actions and following up to ensure progress
• Sharing best practice and encouraging collaboration to support continuous improvement
• Maintaining accurate records on our CRM and documents in Google Workspace, including budgets, reports and committee lists.

About the role

Young Lives vs Cancer has a growing and ambitious commitment to improving the systems that shape the experiences of children and young people with cancer and their families. This role sits within the Strategic Insight team, which supports Young Lives vs Cancer to use relevant, timely and accurate information to inform decision-making across the organisation.

As a Data Analyst (Impact Focus), you will work as part of the Strategic Insight team while dedicating a significant proportion of your time to supporting the Innovation, Policy & Systems Change Directorate, particularly the Research, Learning & Systems Change team. You will play a key role in helping Young Lives vs Cancer generate stronger evidence of the needs, experiences and outcomes of children and young people with cancer and their families, and ensure that evidence is used to improve services, shape strategy and influence decision-making. 

We're looking for someone with strong analytical, SQL and data visualisation skills who is curious about data and passionate about turning it into meaningful insight. You will support survey and evaluation activity, develop dashboards and reporting tools, improve access to data and insight, and provide data and insight that supports evidence-informed decisions across the organisation. 

Working closely with the Impact, Evaluation & Learning Lead, Strategic Insight colleagues and teams across the charity, you will help strengthen the quality, accessibility and use of data and insight. Through your work, you'll contribute to a better understanding of the difference Young Lives vs Cancer makes for children, young people and families, while helping to build the evidence base needed to improve outcomes and influence the wider systems that support them.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys combining data analysis, problem-solving and communication to create actionable insight and drive meaningful change.

What will I be doing?

What you'll do:
* Lead on fulfilling our pipeline of potential grant, trust, foundation and corporate opportunities
* Lead on funding applications that support Look Ahead's social inclusion priorities around:
o Homes and spaces
o Health and wellbeing

About you:
You will be highly organised, confident working with budgets and multiple stakeholders, and motivated by social impact.
You will have a minimum of 2-3 years working in fundraising, social value or bid writing.
You'll have experience in fundraising, grants, partnerships or social value delivery, with strong research, writing and coordination skills, and a collaborative approach to working across teams.
You will be an excellent bid writer with the ability to translate service need and customer aspirations into compelling, winning bids.
You may have experience of raising funds for housing associations, social landlords or organisations that are not registered charities but have charitable status or are community interest companies.
This role would suit someone looking to step into a varied, impact focused position.

About the role

We're looking for a Programme Development Officer with experience of supporting projects, programmes, events or organisational initiatives to join our Innovation, Policy & Systems Change Directorate.

This is an exciting opportunity to support a wide range of programmes and strategic initiatives that aim to improve outcomes for children and young people with cancer and their families. You'll help turn ideas into action by supporting the development, coordination and delivery of work across the directorate, working closely with colleagues, partners and stakeholders.

You'll play a key role in developing proposals, presentations and briefing materials, organising workshops and collaborative sessions, supporting new initiatives and funding opportunities, and ensuring projects stay organised and progress effectively. Sundial Centre for Education on Harmful Practices (“Sundial” previously called Oxford Against Cutting) delivers high quality education and training on harmful practices, such as female genital mutilation (FGM), ‘honour’-based abuse (HBA) and online harms. We offer safeguarding training for teams of professionals such as teachers, police and social workers. We also deliver lessons in schools, as well as workshops for community groups. We ensure people from FGM- and HBA- affected communities and young people are at the forefront of our work and our workshops are often delivered with facilitators with lived experience. 

We are currently seeking an Operations Coordinator to provide professional and efficient and specialist administrative support.

Job description 

• To contact with schools and relevant institutions to promote Sundial’s training and workshops 

• To liaise with schools/organisations and facilitators to coordinate bookings of Sundial’s training and workshops, including logistics and timetables

• To organise team meetings

• To draft invoices and maintain records 

• To assist with keeping contact databases and records up to date 

• To draft, type and dispatch charity office correspondence 

• Maintain the bookings calendar

Coram Children’s Legal Centre is looking for a new Paralegal to join our dedicated, friendly and highly experienced Immigration & Asylum team.

The successful candidate will assist solicitors and senior caseworkers in providing legal advice and representation to primarily legal aid funded clients, including children and young people, parents, carers and others in relation to their immigration & asylum needs.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen interest in upholding the rights of vulnerable children and young people who is seeking to progress their legal aid career in the charity sector.
