The role will be a mixture of organising events, project management, administration, research and relationship building. This is a highly varied role which will give you the opportunity to work across the whole of Police Now. What you’ll do – the key responsibilities
- Coordinate the planning and delivery of our partnership events including our Academy Visitor Days, as well as designing and implementing new stakeholder engagement initiatives based on previous stakeholder feedback.
- Support with, and at times lead the production of documents and communications for internal and external audiences, for example event invites, guest lists, handbooks, letter templates and agendas. This will include producing reports which use data to demonstrate the impact of our programmes to forces.
- Support with our sales campaign and contracting work through regular reporting, maintaining accurate records and providing updates to senior leadership and relevant internal stakeholders. This may include identifying opportunities for Police Now colleagues to attend sector events to have the greatest possible impact on policing in England & Wales.
- Collaborate with colleagues from across Police Now to support a strong customer experience for Police Now’s partner forces; for example, attending cross-departmental meetings and through developing Police Now’s use of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Salesforce.
- Provide wider administrative support to the Force Partnerships team. This includes but is not limited to; preparing and printing event documentation, record-keeping, team inbox monitoring, room bookings, research into current and future force partners and booking and taking minutes for both internal and external meetings.
Frequent travel to the London office (2-3 days a week), along with regular travel to events and forces nationally will be required for this role.

Ataxia is the umbrella term for a group of neurological conditions and Ataxia UK is the UK’s leading ataxia support and research charity. Ataxia UK collaborates with the global ataxia community through our Research team, and we are on the board of the international non-profit association, Euro-ataxia. Our Services team focuses on helping everyone affected by ataxia in the UK to live their best life. About the Role
You will be joining at an exciting time for Ataxia UK as we complete our 60th anniversary year.
This is a key role as member of our growing Fundraising & Communications department, responsible for the coordination and delivery of daily communications tasks and the design and creation of marketing assets.
Ataxia UK has a large and engaged community of patients, supporters, volunteers, fundraisers and professionals. The post holder will work with the Communications & Marketing Manager, the Fundraising department and the wider organisation to ensure we reach our networks across social platforms, website, and printed materials with dynamic branded assets. You will coordinate the delivery of the quarterly Ataxia Magazine, liaising with internal and external contributors, designers and printers. Working closely with the Communications & Marketing Manager, you will have the opportunity to help shape Ataxia UK’s new communications and brand strategy.
Ataxia UK operates a hybrid- working policy, with full time staff working 5 days a week expected to work from our offices in Highgate a minimum of 2 days a week. This is adjusted to 1 day per week for part time.
About you
You will be a creative and dedicated individual, with a passion for communications, looking for a new challenge and excited by the opportunity to help shape our new strategy. You will be someone who thrives in a project-management environment and able to work both independently and closely with colleagues and external suppliers.
Organised and details-focused, you are confident across socials, website SEO, CRM and a range of communications software such as Canva, InDesign etc. You will have a keen understanding of how the role can support our fundraising and you will have experience working closely with fundraising teams or on income-generating projects or events. As a key member of the team responsible for our brand and messaging, you will have the skills and experience to ensure we positively represent the interests of the ataxia community, and you will be someone who shares our commitment to supporting those affected by ataxia.

ECHO is a charity that is independent from but works closely with the NHS Guy’s and St Thomas’ heart care network (47 hospitals) to support children affected by a heart condition and their families. Key tasks
Communications (60% of time)

- Support fundraising and storytelling by producing e-newsletters, reports, and working with a designer on our annual newsletter to showcase impact.

Administration (40% of time)
- Deliver memorable experiences for families and young people by managing event logistics, handling enquiries, coordinating entertainment, and ensuring smooth registration and follow-up.
- Strengthen supporter relationships by coordinating the timely sending of T-shirts, certificates, thank-you letters, and other engagement materials.
- Enhance team efficiency by drafting meeting agendas, circulating papers, taking accurate minutes, and keeping the office environment well-organised and well-stocked.
- Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO by managing day-to-day tasks with sensitivity, discretion, and attention to detail.
This list does not cover every aspect of the role but will give you a flavour of the combination of taking a lead and hands-on work the job requires. Your days will be busy but controlled! The RSN is unique. Overview of Role: To provide operational and administrative support across the RSN’s educational programmes, including the Certificate and Diploma, Tutor Training Course, Short Courses, International Summer School and On Demand Courses.
The main duties include, but are not limited to
General Administration
- Manage the Education Email Inboxes, responding to queries and complaints as appropriate
- Monitor and order stock levels, ensuring supplies are available as needed.
- Handle the packing and mailing of kits and materials, both nationally and internationally
- Support classroom setup for various courses, including Short Courses, Bespoke Classes, and events

Course-Related Administration
- Support the Certificate and Diploma Programme Managers in the administration of the course
- Assist the Tutor Training and Short Course Manager with the coordination and logistics of classes and events.
- Manage on-demand course operations, including kit fulfilment, customer support, and quality improvements, alongside administering the RSN Fellowship programme, coordinating CPD events, and supporting membership initiatives
- Provide logistical support for educational tours and other departmental activities. 3. Other Duties o Maintain a professional and efficient workflow within the Education team
- Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the Director of Education and the Education Management Team, including scheduling, correspondence, and maintaining organised records to facilitate programme delivery
