About the role

As the HLA Sales Lead, you will lead and manage commercial activity for HLA-Enterprise (HLA-E), driving the growth and diversification of income streams by selling our innovative learning products and services to individuals and organisations in the humanitarian and development sectors.

You will be responsible for acquiring new partners and renewing and expanding existing ones. This involves identifying opportunities, working closely with HLA teams to create awareness of our offer, converting enquiries, upscaling partnerships, and building a strong portfolio of clients for Kaya and other e-learning solutions. You will also play a key role in building partnerships across Save the Children and the wider sector, ensuring the financial sustainability of HLA and supporting its strategic direction.

In this role, you will:  

• Deliver on HLA-E sales strategy to diversify and increase HLA-E income streams, ensuring delivery of agreed targets and business growth
• Ability to ensure clear and timely reporting of the sales performance.
• Support the development of a new go-to-market strategy to grow HLA's commercial revenue from products and services, working to set and achieve agreed income targets for 2025-2027.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities in the e-learning market for HLA's solutions, products, and services, ensuring a robust prospect pipeline.

Job Purpose

The Digital Transformation Lead will spearhead the implementation of the Cathedral’s Digital Strategy. Working closely with the Cathedral Leadership Team, Heads of Department, and wider stakeholders, this role will lead the integration of digital systems, improve data management, drive operational efficiency, and support audience engagement through technology. The postholder will ensure the Cathedral’s digital infrastructure aligns with strategic priorities, supports compliance (including the UK GDPR), and unlocks new opportunities for outreach, engagement, fundraising, and income generation.

Key Responsibilities

Main Terms and Conditions

Employment status: Fixed Term for 2 years

Location: Wells Cathedral, 16 Market Place, Wells, Somerset, BA5 2RB

Hours of work: 35 working hours per week. Core hours are 9.00 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Monday to Friday) with an unpaid lunch break of 1 hour each day. Flexible working will be considered.

The role

· Prepare and manage fundraising budgets, forecasting potential income and expenditure for fundraising initiatives.

· Monitor, evaluate, and report on fundraising activities, providing regular progress updates to the Finance Manager and leadership team

· Lead on prospect research and pipeline development to maximise future funding opportunities.

· Working closely with colleagues across the organisation to develop fundable and fully costed proposals.

· Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective funders, donors and partners.

· Manage an existing database of individual donors. Develop ideas to expand one off and regular donations.  Keep donors informed with regular updates.

· Preparing cases for support and submitting compelling written bids and complex grant applications as appropriate.

· Researching and identifying appropriate funders whose criteria match organisational development goals.

· Represent Age Well East at public speaking and networking events in the local business community (across Essex) virtually and in person when required.

· Working with marketing team to showcase partnership activity on social media, website, bespoke newsletters and press preparing and editing case studies.

· Build excellent working relationships with colleagues across the organisation, creating processes that support efficiencies and collaborative working.

· Deliver and own fundraising strategies that will excite and motivate donors to support Age Well East.

· Train, mentor, and coordinate the contributions of volunteers and staff engaged in fundraising activities.

· Innovate new initiatives and campaigns to diversify income streams, e.g., digital fundraising, community fundraising, and corporate partnerships.

· Liaise with finance and service delivery teams to report on grant expenditure and impact, ensuring funders’ requirements are met.

· Support the organisation’s mission, values and strategic aims, acting as an ambassador of Age Well East in all fundraising activities.

Vehicle and business insurance required as there will be some travel across Essex.

As Head of Digital Engagement you will lead SPANA’s digital presence across web, email, social and emerging platforms – ensuring the organisation’s voice, brand and mission are powerfully communicated to global audiences. You will also provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership to the digital team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration and excellence to maximise impact and drive growth. 

This exciting role is responsible for shaping and delivering a compelling and consistent digital experience that drives awareness, deepens engagement and supports organisational priorities in communications, advocacy and income generation. Contract, location and salary

This is a full-time (34.5 hours per week), permanent role with a salary of approximately £55,000 per annum subject to skills and experience. This role is UK based, and candidates must have the current right to work in the UK. SPANA staff work remotely, attending our London office once or twice a month (or more if preferred).

As HOS with a workforce of 80 staff, you will be the driving force behind Nottinghamshire Women’s Aid, demonstrating values-led leadership. You will manage and direct the team to successfully achieve the business aims and objectives to provide inclusive, non-judgemental services from a feminist perspective to women, children & young people affected by domestic abuse.

Reporting to the Board of Trustees, you will shape and implement our strategic direction, lead a dedicated team of senior managers and ensure operational excellence across our services.

You’ll be the public face of the organisation, forging strong relationships across local, regional, and national networks—including the Women's Aid Federation England (WAFE) and championing the voices of those we serve by challenging negative attitudes and beliefs.

You’ll lead on building and delivering our strategy for major donors and corporates, cultivating long-term partnerships rooted in shared values. Working closely with our Chief Executive, senior leadership team and trustees on major donor and corporate fundraising, and with our Communications Lead on fundraising communications and campaigns, you’ll shape compelling approaches to inspire support. You’ll also line manage our Fundraising Officer (grant funding & events), helping diversify Z2K’s income to change lives and challenge injustice. This is a hands-on role with plenty of scope to shape your approach. You’ll lead on identifying new prospects, crafting compelling proposals, and making the case for support to a wide range of external audiences.

You bring a track record of securing income from major donors and corporates, whether in the charity sector as through a business development function in the private sector. You know that successful fundraising starts with research, curiosity, and consistent cultivation. You’re confident identifying new prospects, opening doors, and developing tailored approaches that speak to both hearts and minds.
