We are proud to enable the work of colleagues across the university and its health partners, helping them serve society through world-leading education, research and healthcare. Our activity includes a partnership with the Maudsley Charity in support of children’s mental health and initiatives between the university’s Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience and the South London & Maudsley NHS Trust.

For almost 200 years, King’s has been a place where ideas turn into action. From revealing the structure of DNA to reimagining nursing, from advances in medicine, law and the study of war and peace to shaping culture and public debate, our work has always been guided by a belief that knowledge should serve society. Over our history, King’s has been home to 14 Nobel Prize winners, and to scholars whose ideas and leadership have shaped thinking, policy and practice around the world. King’s has always been a place where knowledge is put to work for the benefit of others. King’s College London is a world-renowned university that delivers exceptional education and world-leading research. We're committed to creating positive and sustainable change in our local and global communities through outstanding education, impactful research, and genuine service to society.
King’s Strategy 2030 sets out how we take that purpose forward, with four key priorities including student success in and beyond university, investment in research and education excellence that responds to the changing world, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, and delivering sustainable finances for a secure future.
About the role

Job summary including context
Young Women’s Trust champions young women on low or no pay. We’re here to create a more equal world of work and raise young women’s incomes. We tackle sexism and misogyny, with and for anyone who has experienced this.
We offer young women free coaching, feedback on job applications and information to help them get where they want to be. We bring together a thousands-strong network to support each other, build their self-belief, and have their voices heard. We work with young women and anyone who experiences misogyny and sexism to campaign for equality in the workplace. And our research provides insight into what young women’s lives are really like, fuelling our campaigns for change.
These are not easy times to be a young woman. The rights and freedoms previous generations fought for can feel up for grabs – sexism is growing louder, online abuse is on the rise, and too many young women are still held back by low pay, insecure work and unequal caring responsibilities. At Young Women's Trust, we believe it doesn't have to be this way, and we're growing our fundraising ambition to match the scale of the challenge.
You will lead a newly united fundraising programme that has brought together corporate partnerships, major donors, and trusts & foundations - an area that already contributes over 80% of our fundraised income. You'll strengthen existing relationships and secure new partnerships to support our mission: creating a more equal world of work and increasing young women's incomes.
EDI statement and sense of flexible working and workplace culture

We particularly encourage applications from racially minoritised candidates. We use positive action under section 159 of the Equality Act in relation to race. This means that if we have two candidates of equal merit in our process, we will seek to take forward the racially minoritised candidate in order to diversify our staff team.
You’ll be joining a team that will embrace your ideas and support and encourage you to bring your whole self to work.
We can make reasonable adjustments throughout the application process and on the job. If you have particular accessibility needs, please get in touch and let us know any requirements you may have.
Young Women’s Trust is a Living Wage employer and we commit to Show the Salary for every job we advertise. Non-graduates are welcome and we offer a wide range of flexible working options including job share, part-time and compressed hours, different start and finish times and working from home.

This is a new role at ECU, being recruited as part of a wider programme of work to deepen the relationships between national organisations working on economic systems change and grassroots campaigners. The Campaigns Lead will work closely with the Head of Campaigns on driving forward our high-impact campaigns for economic systems change.
For at least the first year, the Campaigns Lead will be working primarily on our coalition campaign on the cost of living crisis, Cost of Living Action. The campaign, which is currently made up of over 40 organisations from across civil society, unions and grassroots groups, aims to end the cost of living crisis and put in place solutions to prevent it from ever happening again. It focuses on our policy demands in five areas that drive the cost of living crisis: wages, social security, energy, housing and taxation. The campaign positions itself as the civil society coalition focused on the cost of living as a whole, and that solutions to it must be addressed that way. The campaign relaunched in early 2026 and has a vital role to play in putting media and political pressure on the government to take action.
We also work closely with those most impacted by the crisis and aim to centre the voices of those with lived experience of economic hardship in all that we do. This role will shape and drive forward a programme of impactful communications, advocacy and other campaigning activities under the rebooted campaign to secure transformative changes that bring real improvement to people’s lives. There is ample opportunity to engage politically in this role, increasing as you develop in the position.
