We're seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join our Assets team and lead reinvestment and retrofit programmes, driving refurbishment and energy improvements across our properties while ensuring compliance with PAS 2035 and relevant standards and delivering responsive and planned maintenance to St Mungo’s housing portfolio alongside the team.
This role of Reinvestment and Retrofit Works Project Manager is essential to improving our housing stock quality and reducing carbon emissions. Other Key Responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Senior Project Manager in ensuring refurbishment/retrofit programmes meet quality and regulatory requirements.
- Preparing budgets, forecasts, and programme schedules.
- Overseeing the design, procurement, and delivery of refurbishment/retrofit projects.
- Build relationships with partner organisations, including the GLA, Homes England, and Local Authorities.
- Managing projects and contracts for reinvestment/retrofit initiatives.
- Contributing to organisational strategies in reinvestment, safety, PIE (psychologically informed environments), and sustainability.
In this role you will be required to work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in Tower Hill, London. This allows for training, in person collaboration, team building, line management and other relationship building opportunities. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for agile working for the rest of your week; from home, or other St Mungo’s London or regional locations.
About you
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about enhancing Decent Homes Standards , working alongside an innovative Property Services Team to improve housing for people experiencing homelessness.
To succeed you should demonstrate the below:
- Qualified in the built environment (RIBA, RICS, CIOB) with experience managing reinvestment and retrofit programmes, budgets, and stakeholders (e.g., QS, Architect, Contractor), ideally in social housing or local authority.
- Skilled in financial appraisal, risk management, value-driven efficiency, and transformational change.
- Experience in design development, environmental standards, and working with Retrofit Coordinators, Assessors, and Designers.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced project management expertise or certification (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, PMP).
- Knowledge of funding applications for retrofit and decarbonisation projects, and construction/technical expertise, including JCT, Building Regulations, and related legislation.
Overall, you will be ready to work collaboratively in a forward-thinking environment where your expertise is valued. In addition, a range of support and training initiatives will be put in place to assist the successful applicant in the delivery of this role.

ECHO supports children and young people with heart conditions and their families, who have been treated within the Guy's and St Thomas' NHS network of 47 hospitals. Congenital heart disease is the most common birth defect and affects just under 1 in every 100 babies born throughout the UK.

Main Purpose of the Post

Where You’ll Be Delivering Our Mission
Most of the time, you’ll be based from our brand new Unloc Leeds office space in the city centre, or delivering programmes in Schools and Colleges in the Leeds City Region.
You’ll also be out and about delivering programmes to our partners in other areas across the North of England. Occasionally, you will travel to London or Portsmouth (our HQ) to spend time with other teams. You will likely have more travel in your first three months as part of your induction programme. Of course, any travel costs outside of commuting to/from the Leeds city centre office will be covered, alongside an allowance for meals and accommodation.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the implementation of the Unloc Leeds Strategy

Working in partnership with the Senior Team to ensure the delivery of the Unloc Leeds strategy. This includes;

Building new relationships with local schools and colleges.

Facilitating free-to-access Changemaker Challenge days for local schools in Leeds.

Delivery of workshops and presentations, attendance at events to to promote Unloc’s programmes and initiatives to schools, colleges and community groups.

Liaise and act as a primary point of contact for current key stakeholders to promote Unloc’s work. This will include Local Authorities, Education Trusts, Businesses and Community Interest Groups.

Implement engagement strategies to build deep and meaningful new relationships with key stakeholders and people - developing advocacy for Unloc and our mission - and garnering insights into their challenges and priorities.

Represent Unloc in external meetings, conferences and networking opportunities - building relationships that could support our efforts to generate new income.
Organise, plan and facilitate changemaker projects and programmes

Organise, plan and facilitate bespoke changemaker events (with support from the Operations and Quality teams) for individual businesses, grant giving bodies, schools & colleges. These will span all four of our programme pillars; youth voice, leadership, entrepreneurship, and careers and employability. This generally involves designing agendas, booking speakers, managing event resources, actively leading individual sessions, briefing event support staff, liaising with key points of contact and managing attendance from multiple schools, colleges and partners.

Roles and Responsibilities
Grant Operations (55%)
- Lead on the implementation of a recent grantmaking review, conducted by the Impact Team, including revision of key grant templates and processes: due diligence, proposal development, assessment rubric, recommendation reports, reporting, partner surveys and grant exit.
- Lead on the summary of progress towards our grantmaking KPIs, providing detailed reports and recommendations for the SLT, Impact Committee and Trustees on a quarterly basis.
- Lead on the management and development of our Impact Committee, a formal governance body overseeing our grantmaking and impact, comprising 4 Youth Advisory Board members and 4 Trustees.
- Ensure that the Youth Advisory Board has sufficient opportunity to feed into (and shape) activities of the impact team, by collaborating with the Senior Youth Participation Manager
- Support the development and implementation of our new CRM system, ensuring data is captured by Partnership Managers and kept up to date.
- Support the Impact team to identify potential grant applicants by researching organisations in fields and geographies of interest to Mission 44, networking and attending relevant events
- Support Partnership Managers as they lead the day-to-day grant assessment and relationship management with our partners. Support the Impact team to maintain relationships and regular communication with our grantees, including site visits and attendance at partners’ events.
Funder Plus (20%)
- Work with the Impact Team to implement (and continually improve) our Funder Plus programme, ready for delivery in 2026/27 - with input and consultation from a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Meanwhile in 2025/26, support the Partnership Managers in their aim to provide additional support beyond financial grants which help our grantees to build their capacity, leadership potential and resilience - this is likely to involve regular communication with the fundraising team and liaison with our major corporate partners
Research, Learning and Evaluation (15%)
- Lead on the data collection and impact reporting processes which have been developed to capture learning, evidence and impact data from our programmatic work.
- Support our partnership managers to use the data collection and impact reporting processes, ensuring we’re able to collect and analyse key impact data on a regular basis
- Work with our Head of Strategy and Learning and colleagues in the Impact team to help us clearly and confidently articulate the difference we’re making as a foundation.
- Identify opportunities to improve the systems and processes we use to generate appropriate impact data, research, case studies and evidence of our impact
- Identify opportunities to collate and share learning across the Mission 44 team, to influence and inform our future grant-making and organisational strategy

Overview
The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust UK is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to manage our online shop. This hands-on role is vital in supporting our mission to protect wildlife and habitats in Kenya. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the online store, ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience for our supporters.

Key Responsibilities to include:
Online Store Management
- Handle the day-to-day operations of the online shop including ensuring efficient order processing, stock management, quality control of incoming stock, processing customer returns, helping the team with packing orders during busy periods, and ensuring consistently high levels of customer service.
- Plan for the busy Christmas period by assessing workload and engaging the assistance of temporary staff, volunteers and the wider team as necessary.
