We are looking for a Registered Care Home Manager to lead the team at our Chichester Road Care Home with St Mungo’s.
Chichester Road is 1 of our CQC Registered Care Homes. We have 27 residents aged over 40, who have experienced homelessness, complex needs and alcohol dependency issues throughout their lives.

In the role of Registered Care Home Manager you will lead the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring full compliance with CQC standards and the Registered Homes Act. Act as the Registered Manager, driving quality improvement and aiming for an Outstanding CQC rating.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Create an environment of dignity and respect, ensuring high quality, welcoming and safe service for residents.
- Ensure adherence to the Mental Capacity Act and DoLS, including timely referrals.
- Manage a team of 16, including Deputy Manager, Project Workers, and Care Assistants.
- Oversee care and support plans to maintain excellent standards.

About the role
We're looking for an Activities Coordinator to join our Independent Approved Premises (IAP) based in Havering. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new service which works with offenders as they are released from prison. It is a community based setting, rather than custodial where residents can go out in the community, depending on their Licence restrictions.
You will play a major part in reintegrating our residents back into the community by coordinating and delivering high quality activities and programmes which work to support individual needs, working in collaboration with the wider team. Some activities may vary but could include days out and visits, awareness days/weeks/months campaigns, cultural celebrations and other meaningful activities to encourage reintegration, and enhance social skills and community engagement.
About you
We are looking for someone who has a passion to support vulnerable people in making a change, supporting their rehabilitation and providing opportunities for them to make positive change to their lives, to reintegrate into society. You will have a general understanding of the criminal justice system, and/or have experience supporting people with multiple/complex needs. You will be able to plan and deliver a range of activities suited to individual needs and will be confident in understanding the needs of our residents to do this. We look for:
- Experience in coordinating and/or delivering activities and programmes with people from various backgrounds
- Ability to provide advice, support and guidance to a team and residents on various areas
- Ability to work creatively and encourage creativity in others
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral. Ability to form and build effective relationships and rapport with others
- Proactive in making decisions to deal with challenges and providing a solution focused approach and using your initiative
- Ability to use, learn and adapt to IT at an intermediate level, including Microsoft and other software programs
- Ability and willingness to show flexibility of working patterns, responding to the needs of the service and residents
- Ability to promote the service and provide outreach-based provision, with an ability to liaise and work effectively in partnership with stakeholders

This role is based in Cumbria.
The Drive Partnership, formed by Respect, SafeLives and Social Finance, is working to transform the national response to perpetrators of domestic abuse. They work to end domestic abuse and protect victims by disrupting, challenging, and changing the behaviour of those who are causing harm. Together they have developed the Drive Project to address a gap in work with high-harm, high-risk perpetrators of domestic abuse. They also work to advocate for systems and policy change- to develop sustainable, national systems that respond more effectively to all perpetrators of domestic abuse Perpetrator Service Operations Manager you will:
- Ensure that all support and advice given is in line with Drive Partnership key messages and strategic objectives.
- You will contribute to the development of the Drive model through service reviews, supporting the Drive Partnership in delivery challenges and implementation of changes to the Drive operational model.
- You will act as a champion for Drive across the area in all aspects of development and delivery. You will be expected to represent the service at local and national events; deliver training and presentations as appropriate.
- You will support the Commissioner and Drive Central Team in identifying and securing resources and implementing future funding plans agreed for the service.
- You will be passionate and committed to working within a multi-disciplinary team and will have a demonstrable track record of working with complex need service users. This may be within the field of domestic abuse, and/or mental health, substance misuse and offending.
You will need:

The Children and Young People's Psychological Training programmes (CYP-PT) (formerly CYP-IAPT) is a service transformation programme delivered by NHS England that aims to improve existing children and young people's mental health Services (CYP-PTs) working in the community.
As part of this initiative, Centre 33 is looking to recruit trainee ‘Children and Young People’s Wellbeing Practitioners’ (CWPs) to join our existing team based within the ‘Someone to Talk to’ service.
As a trainee CWP you will deliver brief, evidence-based, goal focused interventions to support young people aged 13-25 experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. You will provide some ‘Guided Self-Help’ interventions to support parents of younger children aged 5 -12 who experience anxiety and behavioural difficulties. You will deliver support in a variety of ways including 121 and group work, workshops and webinars, dependent on service needs. Our blended offer at Centre 33 means you will be expected to work face to face and remotely via telephone and Zoom depending on individual client needs.
You will study part-time for the ‘Child and Young Persons Psychological Wellbeing Practice: Post Graduate Diploma’ through University College London and the Anna Freud Centre for Children and Families. Your remaining hours will be spent working within our busy service, applying and developing the skills and knowledge you acquire in training to our client base.
You will be based across the South of Cambridgeshire (Ely/Cambridge) and will be required to travel efficiently to locations across this region to meet role requirements. You will also be required to regularly travel efficiently to London for the purposes of course requirements, 50% of the weekly travel costs from home to University of College London to attend the Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner Course in line with our expenses policy.

About the role:
At King George’s Hostel, we provide a long-established service where people who have experienced homelessness, trauma and multiple disadvantage can begin to recover, rebuild and move towards independence. As Psychologist/Psychotherapist (PIE Consultant), you will be at the centre of this work, bringing psychological knowledge and practice into a service designed to create safety, trust and opportunity. Clients of the service often face challenges including mental ill-health, substance use, trauma and physical health issues, and you will offer both informal support and accessible, tailored one-to-one and group interventions that address barriers and open pathways to change.
Alongside direct client work, you will support staff to reflect, learn and grow in their practice. This includes facilitating reflective practice, contributing to case discussions, and offering team consultancy that helps colleagues work with compassion and consistency, even in the most complex situations. A key part of the role will also involve creating “spaces of opportunity” with clients and staff through low-threshold, activity-based group work that fosters connection, confidence and a sense of agency.
Your influence will extend beyond individual sessions. By embedding Psychologically Informed Environments across the hostel and wider organisation, you will help shape a culture where psychological thinking informs every aspect of support. As part of Single Homeless Project's (SHP) central PIE team, you will collaborate with other psychologists and psychotherapists, with access to regular line management, clinical supervision, and SHP’s in-house training programme. This is an opportunity to play a vital role in transforming the lives of homeless Londoners, ensuring people have the support, belief and opportunity they need to take steps towards a safer and more independent future.
About you:
- Postgraduate Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or its’ equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS or Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology OR Psychotherapist with BCP, BPS or UKCP registration or full BACP accreditation.
- Experience of working as a qualified Psychologist or Psychotherapist for a minimum of 4 years including substantial post-qualification experience within the speciality.
- An understanding of complex support needs, including but not limited to mental health issues, Complex trauma, substance use, offending and physical ill health, along with the potential barriers to engagement with services, particularly within an accommodation-based service
- An understanding of psychologically informed environments (PIE) and how service development can be achieved in collaboration with clients, staff team and service management.

The service users supported by this role will be individuals facing various and multiple disadvantages, including; mental health needs, housing issues, debt, substance misuse, family and relationship issues, individuals who have suffered domestic and sexual abuse, and those at risk of offending or reoffending. About the Role
To work as part of a team that delivers an assessment, support and move on service to vulnerable clients in supported or community-based accommodation. Our work is underpinned by the Endeavour model of assets-based, psychologically informed delivery. The aim of this is to ensure that every client leaves the service with the skills and resilience to be confident and self-determining in their lives.
Working under the direction, guidance and support of a manager/senior worker you will be responsible for managing the building to ensure that the accommodation provided to the clients is safe and secure through the provision of overnight concierge service, security and door control. This includes controlling access to buildings, being the first point of contact for all emergencies and carrying out Health and Safety checks and cleaning.
Key responsibilities include:
- You will always ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients in the service possible including using Safeguarding and emergency alert procedures as applicable.
- You will provide a basic first contact advice response and security service at night to clients living in the property and/or in dispersed accommodation linked to the service
- You will be the first point of contact for visitors, contractors or services visiting the building at night
- You will be responsible for maintaining Health and Safety standards on the premises and a point of information for clients regarding Health and Safety at night
- You will actively ensure the security of the building through regular checks, and monitoring.
About You
You will need to have the following skills and experience:
- An understanding of the needs of people who have experienced homelessness, poor mental health, substance use or care leavers.
- Experience in managing the overnight safety of vulnerable clients preferably in supported housing.
- Good written and spoken communication skills to ensure the accurate handover of information both verbally and in writing between shifts.
- Experience in undertaking basic maintenance and/or delivering cleaning services.

The Birmingham Street Navigator Service works with Birmingham citizens (single adults and/or couples 25 years old or above) with accommodation that are outdoors engaging in ‘street activity’ e.g. rough sleeping, begging, street drinking/drug using and other ‘social activities.
Street Navigators will offer intensive, wraparound support to help citizens back into their accommodation, reducing their level of street-based activity and associated anti-social behaviour, with the overall aim of reintegrating citizens into their local communities and reducing their reliance on the streets.
Street Navigators will recognise that citizens may present with a range of complexities and could be living with traumas that make engagement with ‘traditional’ and ‘mainstream’ services difficult. This requires Street Navigators to provide a trauma-informed, person-centred and relational approach to engagement and the ongoing support offer to the citizen as a means of developing trust and confidence with the service, and to ensure short and longer term needs are met.
Street Navigators will work in a multi-agency network including alongside outreach services, Community Safety teams, local BID teams, commissioned/none-commissioned accommodation providers, West Midlands Police and British Transport Police. Street Navigators will also support citizens to access relevant support agencies when ready. This could include health care, substance misuse services, local community services and DWP.
It is important that the service is available to our citizens when it is needed. Job Summary
Advance’s Minerva service works with women and young women and girls involved in the Criminal Justice System offering safe, targeted support and advocacy to women to help them address their complex needs in relation to the 9 pathways to offending, such as substance misuse and financial difficulties, aiming to reduce re-offending, encourage desistance amongst repeat offenders, and empower women to live safe, crime free lives.
Working as a Service User Engagement Lead you will be responsible for supporting the operational delivery of our service user engagement programme that will be a part of the Minerva service across London, including leading a team of CJS community champions and ambassadors and supporting in the oversight and delivery this programme across our 3 criminal justice services. In addition, this role requires you to build effective relationships with the criminal justice teams across London, and the regions alongside our partners and service users.
An integral part of the Service User Engagement Lead role will include delivering planned monthly supervision and ad-hoc supervision and having oversight of safeguarding and risk management for the CJS champions and ambassadors that you are working alongside. You will support the Senior Service Manager and Service Managers in delivering key information to keyworkers, in staff meetings and in day-to-day interactions to help promote the service user engagement programme.
You will lead your team and service while working collaboratively with fellow Advance managers and teams, external agencies and key stakeholders across London to provide a consistent and holistic service.
Key responsibilities and duties
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes for champions and ambassadors including processing checks and welcome packs. Creating and supporting a positive culture of CJS Champions and ambassadors within the service
- To ensure the voice of service users is heard, valued and have influence throughout all areas of services, development design and delivery

We are looking to welcome an experienced IDVA to our friendly and energetic team to support women experiencing domestic abuse. If you are ready to empower women to move forward with your lives, we would love to hear from you.
You will be providing trauma-informed, specialist support for women with complex needs through risk assessments, safety planning, individual advice sessions and advocacy in court and with other statutory services.
Duties:
To provide advice and advocacy for women experiencing domestic abuse by offering crisis intervention, information and support for those who have been referred via MARAC due to domestic or sexual abuse or violence or any other recognised intimate violence against women and girls.
To devise emergency safety plans for survivors, liaising with social services, the Housing Inclusion and Support Team, other VCSE organisations and refuges to secure emergency housing if needed.
To provide targeted support where women have mental health, substance misuse, complex needs or face other challenges. Where needed, refer to appropriate support services if the survivor has support needs or requires a specialist service, e.g. male survivor to Respect or GALOP, frail older people to Adult Social Services.
To carry out risk assessments of women for referrals to MARAC where applicable
To develop effective links and partnerships with police and the courts and provide information, advice and support to survivors going through the legal process, explaining the effectiveness of criminal and civil sanctions available.
To comply with safeguarding requirements relating to children and vulnerable adults and explain the safeguarding requirements to the survivor.
Maintain and update accurate written and computer records of all cases and share a summary of this information with managers, ensuring that data protection (GDPR) regulations are followed, (within the organisation as well as when communicating with partner organisations).
To maintain contact with the survivor at regular (timely) intervals to provide support and ensure her safety, including updates of the risk assessment and safety plan.
To respond within the bounds of confidentiality (GDPR), to requests from other agencies for consultations or facilitate direct contact between agencies and service users.
To participate in multi-agency workings parties and focus groups, when requested to do so by the Director or your manager.
To attend team meetings, relevant meetings with trustees and to be part of Her Centre outreach marketing plan
