Key responsibilities
· To work with the organisation on a remote monthly basis to complete tasks (with assistance from our Trustees with task delegation and organising) which could include the following:
(i) Training: Attend remote training events on Neurodiversity & Marketing during January, February & April
(ii) Head & Deputy Head Trustee Job List Creation & Release: Utilise the existing job contracts of the Head and Deputy Head Trustees as well as their staff that they line manage to create a job list for the next month to be released on the 1st day of the next month. This is a bi-monthly rotatory role with your fellow charity administrator
(iii) Charity Administrator Job List Creation & Release: Utilise the existing job contracts of both your own contract and your fellow 2nd Charity Administrator to create a job list for the next month to be released on the 1st day of the next month. This is a bi-monthly rotatory role with your fellow charity administrator
(iv) Fundraising & Marketing (F&M) Trustees Job List Creation & Release: Utilise the existing job contracts of the Fundraising & Marketing Trustees as well as their staff that they line manage to create a job list for the next month to be released on the 1st day of the next month. This is a bi-monthly rotatory role with your fellow charity administrator
(v) Fundraising & Marketing Team Roles, Events, Training & Assessments Calendar Creation + Release: In the later half of the month utilise the job contracts of the Fundraising & Marketing Team as well as events calendars for upcoming Neurodiversity Youth Advocate Programme, CPD Project, Neurodiversity Awareness Street Clinics, and World Celebration dates for Neurodiversity + Skill Assessments to create a Table for the next month which summarises key roles, events, training & skill assessments to be released on the 1st day of the next month. This is a bi-monthly rotatory role with your fellow charity administrator
(vi) Charity Administrator Email Monitoring: Keep an eye on the charity administrator inbox and redirect the relevant emails to the appropriate trustee throughout the month. This is a bi-monthly rotatory role with your fellow charity administrator
(vii) Biannual Trustee Meeting + AGM: In December & June, Minute taking and contributing to the Trustee meetings. There will be round up admin time as well to finish the edits of the minutes post meeting.
(viii) Neurodiversity Youth Advocate Programme Student Recruitment: Work with the Head Trustee to contact schools via work email to recruit students into the Neurodiversity Youth Adovcate Programmes in either June or July (rotates between both Charity Administrators- one is June, other is July) and September (one will do this in 2026, the other in 2027).
(ix) Scheduled E-mail Task: In September-February Send our Post-16 Neurodiversity Youth Advocate scheduled emails with information of the upcoming week’s session details and MS Teams Link. This is a bi-monthly rotatory role with your fellow charity administrator
(x) Fundraising Work: Locating friends, family and colleagues to crowdfund for the charity in May

Al Naasih is Hidayah’s 1-to-1 mentoring programme that supports queer Muslims as they navigate the intersections of their faith and identity. The programme has grown steadily since its launch in 2020, and is now seeking a dedicated Programme Coordinator to help manage and grow its impact.
The Programme Coordinator will provide vital administrative, organisational and operational support to the Programme Lead to ensure the smooth running of the Al Naasih mentoring programme. This includes supporting mentor/mentee onboarding, tracking engagement, maintaining documentation and assisting with communication and evaluation processes.

What are the key responsibilities of this role?
This role will have the following duties, but are not limited to:
Programme Administration
· Support the onboarding of new mentors and mentees (e.g. scheduling interviews, collecting forms)

· Assist with pairing logistics and follow-ups

There is also an expectation of willingness to commit to the role for at least 6–12 months is desirable.

Join our amazing volunteer team to raise awareness of the issues affecting blind and partially sighted people in relation to sport. You will give talks in person or virtually, sharing your own story to improve understanding of sight loss to sports clubs, sporting venues and facilities and community groups. You’ll be making a real difference to people living with sight loss by helping to improve accessibility and inclusivity, creating a sporting world without barriers.
What you’ll be doing
1. Talks to sports and physical activity providers to support and encourage them to consider the needs of blind and partially sighted people by sharing your story to audiences, for example, local leisure centres, sporting venues and sports clubs.
2. Delivering talks to raise awareness of existing sporting and physical activity opportunities for blind and partially sighted people.
3. Representing RNIB as an Ambassador for the Community Connection service.

Role Summary.
The Onsite Administrative Assistant will provide essential operational and administrative support for the Roots Academy Essentials Onsite Program. This role will help ensure smooth communication, accurate documentation, and effective coordination between internal team members, instructors, campuses, and students. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organised, and proactive in maintaining digital records and supporting program onboarding processes.
Key tasks

Create and send calendar invites for recurring and ad-hoc meetings.

Manage, document and accurately store internal meeting minutes.

Share action items and follow-ups in a timely manner.

Track and record university campuses that have registered interest in hosting the Essentials Onsite Program.

Prepare and manage Google Drive folders containing onboarding documents for university ISocs and MSAs we partner with.

Verify that all instructors, campuses, and student ambassadors are correctly assigned on the Roots Digital Platform.

Duties:
· Support and provide advice on ESS Education and Support Service’s purpose, vision, goals and activities.
· Approve operational strategies and policies, and monitor and evaluate their implementation.
· Oversee ESS Education and Support Service’s financial plans and budgets and monitor and evaluate progress.
· Ensure the effective and efficient administration of the organisation.
· Ensure that key risks are being identified, monitored and controlled effectively.
· Review and approve ESS Education and Support Services’ financial statements.
· Provide support and challenge to ESS Education and Support Services’ CEO in the exercise of their delegated authority and affairs.
· Keep abreast of changes in ESS Education and Support Services’ operating environment.
· Contribute to regular reviews of ESS Education and Support services’ own governance. Attend Board meetings, adequately prepared to contribute to discussions.

Terms of appointment
Terms of office
· Trustees are appointed for a 3 year term of office, renewal for 2 further terms to a maximum of 9 years.
· This is a voluntary position, but reasonable expenses are reimbursed.
Time commitment
· Attending 6 Board meetings annually. Currently meetings are held virtually.
· Attending charity events and other such commitments.
