We’re looking for a creative, analytical and organised Impact & Evaluation Manager to join our team and lead on delivering a refreshed approach to measuring impact, evaluation and reporting ahead of our new strategy launching in 2026.

You’ll work alongside our SMT, teams across the charity, and colleagues at the Trust to provide guidance and support in all aspects of monitoring and evaluation, ensuring we’re able to demonstrate how we’re delivering against our strategic objectives, and how we’re delivering impact for the patients and NHS staff at our hospitals.

As well as ensuring we’re set up with the tools and systems we need for success in evaluating our strategy, you’ll provide day-to-day support and advice for teams in evaluating the impact of their work, sourcing data to evidence this impact, and presenting this information in the most engaging way possible for our various stakeholders and supporters.

This is an important role at a critical time for the charity, so we’re looking for someone who can bring a fresh perspective on impact and evaluation to support us as we prepare to make an even bigger difference through our strategy.

The Mental Health Foundation is recruiting for a Database Officer to support our Public Fundraising team.

This exciting Database Officer role will support the data team with data imports, data selections and processing of income.

The Foundation has just started using a new CRM after undergoing a CRM migration from Raiser’s Edge, a very exciting time to be joining the Foundation! This role, alongside with other members of the data team, will liaise with the CRM Project Teams to support and ensure the successful outcome of the project and get us up to BAU.

What does the role involve?

• Manage data processes, imports and exports of all fundraising data including direct debits, new donors, email sign ups etc.in accordance with agreed protocols and in agreement with Database Manager.
• Ensure that the use of the Fundraising database and the capture of all data from supporters or prospects conforms to data protection guidelines including GDPR in particular relating to supporter preferences and consent.
• Support training for colleagues using the new CRM (Beacon) and help ensure all members are trained and kept up to date on new features and enhancements as they require to do their job effectively.
• Support the reconciliation of the bank statement with Beacon and ensure the Finance team know where to find information to enable accurate coding for management accounts.

What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?

• Demonstrable relevant experience working in Fundraising, or a Charity database team role using Beacon, Raiser’s Edge or any database similar, with experience of CRMs in general.
• Evidenced experience of managing high volumes of personal data using a large and complex supporter/CRM database.
• Evidenced ability to think analytically and deliver the most effective and accurate solutions for data capture, manipulation and reporting.

We organise our Policy & Ideas work around the following issue areas: families, work and care; housing, land and climate; community, place and social security; and macroeconomics and fiscal policy. This role will have a focus on either macroeconomics or fiscal policy, or both, whole also working to support out other policy themes. We are seeking two Senior Economists, one full-time permanent role and one 12-month fixed term role, which could be either full-time or part-time. In both roles, we are looking for someone to develop and lead research projects that generate arguments, policies and ideas to address the social and economic challenges that underpin poverty and household economic insecurity in the UK today and chart a course to a different and better future.

You will devise, lead and deliver high quality economic analysis and thinking to JRF’s policy & ideas work and offer a professional economics perspective across the wider organisation – and as a trusted, expert voice externally. You will seek out and connect with people or organisations developing new ideas and strategies that can contribute to our mission; and to develop proposals for how JRF should use its platform and resources to support their development and diffusion.

About you

As a Senior Economist, we would like you to either have a professional economics training or equivalent professional work experience, advanced data analysis skills and the ability to use a wide range of tools and software to undertake large scale and groundbreaking economic analysis (including using micro-data from major national surveys).

With experience of working on policy issues relating to poverty, you will have significant experience of having initiated, designed, led and delivered projects that included original economic analysis that generated a different or better understanding of policy challenges and helped to guide new arguments and ideas. You will be able to think critically and creatively, analyse and problem solve, and contribute to the generation of new ideas and alternative ways of approaching an issue, able to communicate arguments and ideas persuasively, via writing and speaking.

You will have advanced knowledge and critical awareness of economic theory, principles, datasets and analytical techniques and how to deploy these effectively in support of understanding and addressing the drivers of household economic insecurity. With significant knowledge of one or both of macroeconomics or UK fiscal policy and a strong understanding of how policy making works across the UK, devolved and sub-national governments, you will have an awareness and engagement with relevant political, policy and intellectual debates, plus models and approaches to social change.

Mind in Enfield and Barnet is a fast-growing charity in North London providing much needed therapy, wellbeing support and advocacy services to people with mental health problems. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Community Care Coordinators to support some of our most vulnerable users of emergency services. ECHO is a charity that is independent from but works closely with the NHS Guy’s and St Thomas’ heart care network (47 hospitals) to support children affected by a heart condition and their families. We’re seeking a highly organised, results-oriented team player, with excellent writing and content-creation skills, to build active engagement with our community of families, professionals and fundraising supporters. This role will suit someone confident to take initiative who enjoys teamwork, creativity, variety, and ‘putting jobs to bed’, who can balance the many short-term deadlines of two different focus areas with some longer-term pieces of project work.

As a small organisation with programmes of family support, youth work, corporate and individual fundraising, we offer the successful applicant exposure to build skills, from concept to delivery, on a wide range of project areas.

Key tasks

Communications (60% of time)

• Deliver engaging communications across social media, media outlets, newsletters, and publications by leading on ECHO’s Communications Plan and content creation.
• Strengthen ECHO’s brand and visibility by applying and championing consistent brand and style guidelines.
• Support fundraising and storytelling by producing e-newsletters, reports, and working with a designer on our annual newsletter to showcase impact.
• Inform and empower families by keeping ECHO’s website and private Facebook group updated with reliable, relatable content, and collaborating with partners to produce patient information resources.

Administration (40% of time)

• Deliver memorable experiences for families and young people by managing event logistics, handling enquiries, coordinating entertainment, and ensuring smooth registration and follow-up.
• Strengthen supporter relationships by coordinating the timely sending of T-shirts, certificates, thank-you letters, and other engagement materials.
• Enhance team efficiency by drafting meeting agendas, circulating papers, taking accurate minutes, and keeping the office environment well-organised and well-stocked.
• Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO by managing day-to-day tasks with sensitivity, discretion, and attention to detail.

This list does not cover every aspect of the role but will give you a flavour of the combination of taking a lead and hands-on work the job requires. Your days will be busy but controlled! There’ll be a lot to pack in, but, as the only comms and admin person, you’ll have scope to prioritise where your time and focus will get the best results. You’ll work across all our teams gathering, packaging, and sharing their news and information and supporting them to deliver with efficiency and high impact. We are seeking two motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Managers to join our IT Transformation Team at Look Ahead. In this role, you will assist in the planning, execution, and completion of various projects including Finance systems and case management systems. You will work closely with the Head of IT Programme and cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget. This is a great opportunity for an entry-level professional looking to grow their career in project management.

9am - 5pm work hours.

This is a fixed term contract of 12 months.

What you'll do:

Assist in the development of project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
Coordinate and communicate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure project tasks are completed as scheduled.
Track project progress and prepare status reports for senior management.
Assist in managing resources to ensure projects remain within scope and financial constraints.
Schedule and participate in project meetings, taking detailed notes and ensuring follow-up on action items.
Support risk management efforts by identifying potential issues and helping to implement solutions.
Maintain project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and correspondence.
Assist in the development and implementation of project management processes and best practices.

The service offers specialist support to homeless men across a range of areas including re-offending behaviour, mental health issues, physical health needs and substance misuse. Edward Alsop Court implements and promotes the Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) model. This is an approach to supporting people out of homelessness, those who have experienced complex trauma or are diagnosed with a personality disorder. It also considers the psychological needs of staff: developing skills and knowledge, increasing motivation, job satisfaction and resilience.
As a maintenance worker, you will be responsible for small responsive/maintenance items (for example replacement of bulbs, batteries, tightening of screws etc) to internal elements and components; PAT test items; internal decorations; cleaning of communal spaces; removal of minor items; fixture and fittings such as shower curtains, mirrors, bathroom fittings (toilet seats, toilet rolls holders etc); assembly furniture; bins removal; there will be a weekly rota with tasks allocated to each day which will be given weekly; support with shopping deliveries.

The working hours for this role is: Monday to Friday 8am-4pm

What you'll do:
* Carry out weekly checks (water checks, fire call points check, fire doors check, lint removal from laundry room, emergency lights check, fire extinguishers check, communal areas check, courtyard cleaning, fire escapes check).
* Supporting contractors attending the site for furniture deliveries and any maintenance issue
* Adhere to Look Ahead' Policies and Procedures
* Undertake any other duties consistent with the grade and nature of the post as may be reasonably assigned
* Attend team meetings once a month

Would you like to contribute to a unique research programme that plays a key role in advancing knowledge about cancer prevention?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work on World Cancer Research Fund International’s Global Cancer Update Programme (CUP Global). CUP Global (previously known as CUP) is a unique, long-standing, and rigorous research programme that systematically gathers, analyses, and judges the strength of the global evidence on how diet, nutrition, physical activity and body weight affect cancer risk and survival. This work led to the publication of the authoritative Third Expert Report in 2018, which now needs updating in places to remain relevant and impactful. 

As Senior Research Interpretation Officer, you will be a valuable member of the Research Interpretation team and the CUP Global scientific Secretariat. Your core work will be supporting the management of CUP Global on a day-to-day basis to help deliver its main objective of updating the Third Expert Report. You will provide scientific input, administrative support, and help coordinate specific work areas of CUP Global.

We are looking to recruit someone who has a Masters degree in public health sciences, particularly nutrition and/or cancer research, and with a good understanding of epidemiological concepts. We are seeking someone with experience of writing scientifically, copywriting, editing and proofreading, with good attention to detail and with experience of reviewing and interpreting scientific research/literature. We require someone who can co-ordinate and manage projects, who can produce concise, well-constructed, written communications with the ability to present orally to various audiences in a clear and persuasive manner, and who can provide administrative support, including taking meeting minutes and writing professional emails. 

This is a permanent role within the Science and Policy Department at World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) International. WCRF International is a not-for-profit organisation that leads and unifies a network of cancer prevention charities based in Europe, the Americas and Asia and is responsible for cancer prevention science, policy, strategic and operational direction to the network charities.
