Haringey Education Partnership (HEP) is a not-for-profit, schools-led school improvement company with a mission to raise outcomes for children in all our 120 member schools in Haringey and Enfield.

HEP is becoming a Delivery Partner for University College London (UCL) and we now seek a project manager to support the effective development and delivery of the Early Career Framework (ECF) programme to teachers at the start of their careers and the National Professional Qualifications (NPQ) programmes to aspiring and existing middle and senior leaders in education, in association with UCL. This offer will be a key component of HEP’s comprehensive programme for teacher and leadership development.

The role will also support the Appropriate Body role that HEP will play and will be the effective interface between schools, HEP and UCL.

Chalk Farm Tenant Management Organisation (TMO) is looking for a competent leader with a passion for social housing to manage our housing organisation.

This could be you if you have:

• 4 years+ experience of managing staff, and at least 2 years experience of reporting to a board;

• good knowledge of housing law or current issues relating to social housing;

• experience in procuring contracts and managing contractors;

• a proactive, can-do attitude, and an ability to motivate a team;

• excellent numerical and IT literacy, including a record of preparing and scrutinising budgets;

• Either a Level 4 Certificate in Housing, or an undergraduate degree (2:1 or above), and are prepared to enrol in the 1 year online Level 4 course by the Chartered Institute for Housing. 

The TMO is prepared to fund the Level 4 course, and to support a bright manager with a successful track record of delivery to transition into social housing.

Job Title: Partnership Development Manager

Salary: £34,500.

The latest research suggesting that the number of children and young people at risk of hunger has rocketed to three million means that one in five children don't have enough to eat.   

When a child is too hungry to learn, when they’re aching for something to eat, they can’t concentrate. They can’t absorb information. Big feelings and worries can be impossible to control. They fall behind in their studies.  

Magic Breakfast provide a nutritious and filling breakfast to over 200,000 children and young people every school day. We work with schools in areas of high disadvantage, helping staff target the children most in need without barrier or stigma.   

Magic Breakfast are ambitious to grow our impact in order to remove hunger as a barrier to learning for all children and young people in the UK. To do this, we need to continue to grow our fundraised income, of which new corporate income is a significant element.

You will already have strong credentials and be ready to start your journey into Partnership Management which will include leading in delivering the new business plan and working closely with colleagues in the Partnership Development team and across the organisation to identify, create and secure new strategic, multi-year corporate partnerships

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Building a pipeline that reflects Magic Breakfast’s restricted and unrestricted funding needs, including Gift in Kind requirements, working with the Partnership Research Executive to research and identify prospects with potential.  
• Making use of multiple tactics to secure meetings with prospects including, for example, cold calling, emailing, running events, event networking and social selling on platforms like LinkedIn.
• Ensuring that risk-screening and due diligence processes have been completed in line with Magic Breakfast’s Ethical Fundraising and Due Diligence policies. 
• Understanding each prospect’s strategic interests through meetings, discussions and research and defining the mutual advantage in partnership. 
• Developing and delivering engaging, relevant and impactful pitches and written proposals to prospective partners.

This exciting pilot is a new approach to preventing rough sleeping, through the provision of accommodation with onsite specialist move-on support to those who are at immediate risk of sleeping rough. The service will provide a route and support for single homeless clients who are presenting to the Local Authority Housing Options or day centres and at imminent risk of rough sleeping, but not yet rough sleeping.

Where their homelessness cannot be prevented by the council and they are at imminent risk of sleeping rough, a referral can be made into the Rough Sleeping Prevention service.

The service will be based across three London locations in Islington, Lambeth and Kensington and Chelsea and staff will be based expected to work across all three sites

• Work on 7 day rolling rota inclusing early, mid and late shifts 
•  (K&C): medium – high support accommodation.
•  (Lambeth): medium support accommodation.
•  (Islington): Assessment hub space for up to 15 clients. Site will operate 24/7.

Each site will have staff delivering casework and support, providing each person with a comprehensive assessment of their needs and circumstances, and intensive specialist support to secure move on.

In this role you will jointly manage the safe day to day running of the project with other members of the team and to provide basic support and advice to clients.

• Draft Offer letters for the successful applicants 

• Recruit, Manage and Appraise the Admin and Grant Assistant

• Attend trustees, volunteers and applications meetings

Skills and Experience Required

About the role

The Trusts and Foundations Manager will contribute to a step-change in Macmillan’s income, with a focus on identifying and realising high value income from Trusts and Foundations. You will achieve this through personally soliciting, securing, and stewarding high value gifts aligned with Macmillan’s strategic priorities and facilitating supporters to become advocates and champions for Macmillan. As a manager, you will also provide guidance and support to your direct reports in the team.

About you:

· Excellent written communication, with the ability to navigate complex information to develop proposals that articulate a clear vision and compelling narrative to inspire donors.

· Excellent verbal communication, networking, and relationship-building skills with demonstrable experience of building trusted, authentic relationships with senior stakeholders, Trustees and senior volunteers.

· Experience in identifying, cultivating, securing, and stewarding high-level five or six-figure philanthropic gifts.

· Experience of being a diligent and accurate record keeper, ideally with experience of using Raiser’s Edge CRM.

· Experience of line-management.
