We are looking for a dynamic and experienced programme manager who will oversee The Advice Workforce Development Fund (AWDF). AWDF is a collaborative programme dedicated to strengthening and sustaining the social welfare advice sector in London. The role will coordinate and run steering and advisory groups, and ‘task and finish’ groups, working with cross-sector stakeholders to enable the implementation of recent recommendations generated by research commissioned by the programme, and help with monitoring and evaluating the project and funded projects under this programme. The successful candidate will have strong project management skills, a commitment to social justice, and a track record of delivering impactful support to external partners.

The workforce development programme was created after working closely with a group of funders and advice sector representatives who are now steering group members. The programme has reached an exciting stage, as it transitions from a foundation-laying and research phase into more of a focus on influencing and implementation of the learning generated to date, while also maintaining and strengthening new and existing relationships. This role, with support from the Head of Sector Support and Grants and the CEO, will oversee the continued development and delivery of this exciting partnership into the longer-term. This role will also work closely with the Propel initiative under London Funders to ensure effective coordination of work is done at all levels.

Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment.

We are recruiting an In Work Employment Support Specialist to join our In Work Service based in Tower Hamlets. This role focuses on supporting people to remain in employment and supporting employers to retain staff who are experiencing mental health challenges.

What you’ll be doing

If you were working with us, you would manage a caseload of clients who are currently in work and have mental health support needs. Your role would focus on helping people remain in their jobs, build confidence at work, and address challenges early before they escalate.

You would work directly with employees to understand their needs, strengths, and workplace challenges. Where appropriate, you would engage with employers to explore reasonable adjustments, communication strategies, and practical solutions that support retention. This requires confidence, professionalism, and a solution-focused approach when working with both individuals and organisations.

In cases where a return to the current role or employer is not possible, you would support clients to explore alternative outcomes. This may include securing alternative employment or working towards a settlement agreement in a supportive and informed way.

You would deliver support using a person-centred and strengths-based approach, while maintaining accurate records and working to agreed outcomes. You would also collaborate with referring teams and other professionals to ensure coordinated, client-led support.

The role is part-time, working 21 hours per week, including one late evening to ensure accessibility for people who cannot meet during working hours. You would be based in Tower Hamlets two days per week, attend meetings with employers across London, and have the option to work from home one days per week.

What you’ll need

Experience of in-work or retention support is not required. However, we are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in employment support or a related role.

• A strong interest in mental health and its impact in the workplace.

• Confidence engaging with employers and discussing sensitive workplace issues.

• Excellent communication and organisation skills, with the ability to manage a caseload effectively.

• A genuine desire to help people stay in work and support employers to retain staff.

• Manage the Ri’s YouTube membership programme, posting regular member updates, monitoring churn, and generally developing the product to provide a consistent and growing income stream
• Manage the Ri’s website platform and, in conjunction with Head of Digital, Marketing and Communications, develop a road map for future improvements to ensure all website developments are audience-focused and strategically aligned
• With the support of the Head of Digital, manage the day-to-day relationships with our website agency and other digital suppliers, including our YouTube partner manager, as well as discrete digital projects, to ensure our website, YouTube channel, and other digital platforms continue to grow and maintain a high level of quality for our users.
• With the support of the Head of Digital, manage the Ri’s programme of public and commercial filming – including YouTube films, livestreams and partner content – to ensure accessibility of high-quality science content for Ri audiences
• Line manage the Ri’s Video and Multi-media Producers and contribute to the senior leadership of the Digital and Marketing Team
• Lead on and implement the Ri’s website content strategy and calendar to manage, develop, create and promote user-focused content
• With the support of the Senior Marketing Manager, work with the Social Media Manager to ensure the Ri’s website content supports our mission and provides optimal and meaningful user journeys across our digital platforms
• Manage a cross-departmental group of website content creators from across the Ri to ensure the Ri’s digital content is accurate, user-focused and consistent in style and tone of voice

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Sunday on a rota varying between 20:00 - 09:30 which includes 12.5 hour shifts with 1 hour unpaid break, approximately 3 shifts per week. You may be required to work outside these hours dependent on service and resident requirements including weekends and bank holidays so flexibility will be required.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Coach to join our new Independent Approved Premises (IAP) covering the night shift on a rolling rota. You will play a key role in helping residents who have recently left prison settle into our residential setting and take positive steps toward reintegrating into the community. You will work closely with residents to create tailored support plans that reflect their individual needs and help them move toward successful rehabilitation. By identifying each resident’s needs, goals and skills, you will support and motivate them to achieve their potential. The service is committed to focus on public protection and effective risk management.

Some Key Responsibilities Include:

• Protecting and promoting the safety and wellbeing of residents and participants at all times.
• Engaging with residents throughout the night to ensure they are meeting their license conditions. This includes planning activities such as movie nights, game nights, and other suitable events to keep them involved and motivated.
• Be a valued and reliable member of the team on the night shift, completing handovers for day colleagues for a seamless service
• Building trusting professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through tailored one to one sessions, group sessions, in and out of service activities, and general wellbeing check ins
• Focusing on empowering our residents to take control over their lives and meet their personal goals

About You

We’re now looking for a dynamic and motivated leader to join our Retail team as Assistant Area Manager (East Scotland). In this role, you’ll help ensure our shops are safe, welcoming, and thriving spaces that inspire donations, volunteering, and sales — all contributing to Shelter’s mission of defending the right to a safe home.

About the role

This role supports the Area Manager to ensure shops across the area are safe, welcoming and thriving. You’ll represent Shelter in the community, creating positive experiences for customers, donors and volunteers while maximising Gift Aid and encouraging ongoing support.

You’ll help to oversee shop operations – from pricing and stock rotation to displays and local income-generating events, along with playing a key part in recruiting, developing and guiding Community Shop Managers.

Financial responsibility is central, following procedures, reviewing shop accounts and supporting managers to identify opportunities and reduce costs. Success means helping shops meet and exceed targets, increasing Shelter’s contribution and ensuring vibrant, well-run shops that maximise impact.

We’re looking for an experienced leader who can inspire and motivate teams to deliver outstanding results. You’ll thrive in a varied role, bringing energy and creativity to shop environments, helping teams attract customers and donors, and deepening their knowledge of Shelter’s mission. With strong influencing skills, you’ll train, develop and empower people to run successful shops that raise vital funds.

About the team

This role sits within the Income Generation directorate within the Retail team at Shelter. You will work alongside and report into the Area Manager, along with the Community Shop Managers of the shops you will be helping to oversee.

Manage our Community Support Team at Age UK Sutton

The Community Support team is Age UK Sutton's front door service, providing regulated Information & Advice to the residents of Sutton.  The team support in excess of 3,000 people per year providing a mixture of light touch information provision through to long-term advice provision and casework. 

The service provides free, confidential and impartial information and advice to all older people and their families and carers.  We work with older people to identify their own goals, set priorities and create a shared action plan whilst maintaining high levels of customer care.

The Community Support Manager provides operational and supportive leadership for the team and has the opportunity to work on contract monitoring, strategic planning and development of the service. You will ensure all delivery requirements are met and to quality standards, be responsible for data management and embed and champion a person-centred approach where older people are suppported.

• Has experience of delivering or managing services in a front-line setting or who shows clear potential to move into a management role
• Can work on their own initiative, monitoring and meeting targets and problem solving

Bringing hope and help to the homeless.

Robes is a small but mighty charity tackling homelessness across Southwark and Lambeth. Working with over 600 volunteers, churches and community partners, we deliver life-changing services to vulnerable people on the streets.

In winter, we run emergency night shelters. Year-round, our Wednesday Club offers hot meals, showers and support. We provide up to six months of floating support to help guests secure sustainable accommodation and find employment or training.

About You

You're an experienced Fundraiser with a track record securing grants and managing relationships with trusts, foundations and major donors. You're strategic and thorough – you understand relationship-building, can write compelling applications, and articulate impact clearly.

• A proven success in corporate and charitable trust fundraising, with a strong understanding of funder and donor expectations and a track record of effectively meeting them.
• Experience managing fundraising pipelines and meeting income targets.
• Strong relationship-building and stewardship skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the confidence to engage and build relationships with stakeholders and partners at the highest level.
• A keen eye for detail and ability to analyse complex data and research findings to extrapolate key messages to craft compelling cases for support or to communicate the impact of interventions.

The Role

You'll lead fundraising strategy across multiple income streams, focusing on trusts, foundations, corporate partnerships and major donors. You'll manage the full fundraising cycle from research and relationship-building through stewardship.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, you’ll execute our new fundraising strategy, support our growth plans, research funding opportunities, write strong grant applications, manage a pipeline of major donor prospects, plan our 20th anniversary campaign, and provide quarterly progress reports.

With three days a week focused on foundation and corporate partnerships work, a full-time role would typically include one day on legacy work and one day on community events.

You bring at least three years' fundraising experience, ideally in a charity setting. You're skilled at grant writing, relationship management and strategic planning. You have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. You're proactive, flexible and genuinely motivated by mission.
