As our new Compliance Housing Officer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality housing services and ensuring property compliance across our sites. In delivering the role, you will be responsible for:
- Managing onboarding and tenancy processes, including home visits, occupancy checks, and emergency protocols.
- Coordinating repairs and compliance checks, ensuring timely completion
- Monitoring housing regulations and safety standards (e.g. gas, fire, legionella, asbestos).
- Conducting inspections and audits, maintaining regulatory registers, and supporting contractor management.
- Delivering excellent customer service and supporting income collection and tenancy issue resolution.
- Representing YMCA DownsLink Group in meetings with landlords and suppliers and supporting service improvement initiatives.
Qualifications, knowledge, and experience
- Experience in the housing sector, particularly in regulated environments and property compliance. Strong knowledge of housing legislation and safety standards.

- To offer support, information and advice to parents and carers who have been referred to Acorns services, in North Tyneside and potentially into Northumberland

Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) is the national charity caring for historic churches at risk. As the operator of the third largest heritage estate in charitable ownership in the UK, our 356 historic churches include examples of irreplaceable architecture, archaeology and art from 1,000 years of English history.
CCT has an international award-winning reputation in heritage conservation and regeneration. All churches in our care are listed, mostly Grade I and II*, and some are Scheduled Ancient Monuments.

Overall job purpose
This is a fundamental role within our South regional team, internally the role is known as Local Community Officer.
The future of CCT’s outstanding collection of historic churches depends on communities supporting their local CCT church with funds, events, inspiring interpretation, visitor services and preventive conservation. The Local Community Officer will engage and support communities and volunteers to care for 29 historic churches across Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, ensuring each site achieves agreed standards.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
Beacon is now in its second decade and has grown substantially over the last three years, including a rebrand and expansion into international projects. To support this growth, we are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and intuitive Admin & Operations Officer to help ensure the smooth running of our daily activities and core functions.
This varied role spans many aspects of our work, from administration and resource management to supporting the systems and tools that keep Beacon working efficiently. You’ll work across the charity, supporting our executive leadership, projects teams, and fundraising activities, as well as and ensuring colleagues have the information and resources they need to deliver for our beneficiaries.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the charity and in supporting senior staff. As you settle into the role, you’ll have opportunities to develop skills in areas such as financial management, executive support, relationship management, stewardship, or project logistics, depending on your interests and the charity’s needs.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Organisational administration
- Lead on day-to-day operational processes to ensure the efficient running of the organisation.
- Provide executive support to the CEO and COO, including diary coordination, scheduling, and meeting logistics.
- Oversee internal financial processes, including processing expenses and invoices, documenting charity income and outgoings, ensuring accurate record keeping, and liaising with our external accounting team.

We are looking for a part time Membership Officer to work 2 or 3 days a week, alongside our existing part time Membership Officer. Together, they will lead on administrative support of our membership functions. About the role
You’ll provide expert technical support and guidance on a variety of software and hardware used at Parkinson’s UK, working as a key member of the Technology Services Team.
You’ll help maintain a consistently high level of service, ensuring staff and volunteers receive timely, effective support to carry out their work efficiently.

In September 2024, National Numeracy launched a new ‘Schools & Families’ programme to support Primary School staff, parents and carers in increasing pupils’ confidence with numbers, positive feelings about maths, and awareness of the value of maths outside of the classroom.
