The WiSER Project is a partnership of specialist charities working together to provide support and advocacy for women whose experiences of violence and abuse intersect with multiple and severe disadvantage. We work with women who are frequently excluded from mainstream services and/or find it hard to engage with support, which increases their vulnerability and risk. Our assertive outreach approach enables women to access support, increase their self-esteem, and make safe choices.
About the Women Specialist Advocate role:
We are looking for an experienced, dynamic Specialist Advocate to join our advocacy and support team in Camden, with a specific remit to reach and support women facing multiple disadvantage. You will work intensively with a small caseload of women as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating extensively with external agencies.
You will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the intersection between severe and multiple disadvantage and Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) and have a strong understanding of how this can make it difficult for women to engage with support. You will have worked with people experiencing various aspects of severe and multiple disadvantage: homelessness, substance use, mental health issues, insecure immigration status, prostitution, offending history and children taken in to care. Most importantly, you will be committed to improving services and life chances for women affected by VAWG who are experiencing severe and multiple disadvantage.
Please note: This service is run by women for women and is therefore restricted to women applicants under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act.
About you:
- An excellent understanding of the issues faced by women survivors of VAWG, including a knowledge of options for and rights of women experiencing all forms of VAWG.
- The ability to take a resilient and assertive approach to reaching out to and building trust and positive relationships with women who are experiencing multiple disadvantage, and who may present as reluctant to engage and/or may be presenting in crisis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Wellbeing Advisor Assistant with experience of working within a children and young people, to work within a multi-disciplinary wellbeing advice services team to increase and improve emotional and mental health provision within local communities for 11–24-year-olds in the West London CCG area.
The Senior Wellbeing Adviser will be a part of our Youth Services team and will work to deliver mental health services for young people and the adults who support them. The Senior Wellbeing Adviser will co-ordinate and deliver a diverse portfolio of wellbeing services including the provision of 1:1 practical wellbeing advice and support to young people (mainly aged 16-25), facilitation of peer support groups, delivery of workshops and trainings and co-ordinate awareness-raising campaigns on occasion.
This post will enable the post-holder to develop a wide range of project coordination and evaluation skills. The position will suit an individual who is self-motivated, an excellent communicator and data competent, with an interest in quality improvement, line management, an understanding of child development and mental health, as well as a passion to support services for children, young people and their families.
The post holder will also work alongside colleagues and partners in the Local Authority, CAMHS, educational settings where interventions are being delivered and other relevant mental health providers.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide practical mental health focused short term casework to young people through 1:1 face to face appointments
- To develop, co-ordinate and deliver workshops and training to groups of children and young people
- To raise and escalate safeguarding concerns effectively with partners to ensure children and young people are effectively safeguarded
- Signpost referrals for children and young people with more complex needs to the relevant service.

- Conduct regular line management with one Wellbeing Advisor working closely with them as a team.

- Maintain comprehensive records of all training and clinical activity in line with both health and education service protocols and use these records and outcome data to inform decision-making.

- To assist in the formulation and delivery low-intensity psychological treatments based on evidence-based literature and research to support best practice in clinical work. Interventions may include guided self-help, and treatment might be individual or in psychoeducational groups. This work includes delivery face to face, virtual and Telephone.
- Engage in robust managerial and clinical supervision, identifying the scope of practice of the individual post-holder within the role, and working safely within that scope.

As Trusts and Foundations Officer you will be Baobab’s key fundraiser and a self-starter with experience of working in a small or medium sized charity. You will be responsible for carrying out a successful program of fundraising from small, medium and large charitable trusts and foundations to an agreed annual fundraising target. You will also assist in delivering Baobab’s individual major donor programme, helping to set up and deliver communications and events related to this income stream. Role overview
The Partnership Manager will oversee and deliver account management across our mentoring partnership portfolio. This role involves managing the partner experience across a range of sectors, including higher education, the third sector, schools and corporate partnerships. About the role
The Hardman Trust supports people on long prison sentences to take their next steps in life. As the office, grants and programmes administrator your role is to help make this a reality through the day-to-day support of our work. You’ll help to ensure our programmes run smoothly, and that the staff have the administrative support they need to provide a quality service to people accessing our programmes.
Your role will evolve over time, to reflect the changing needs of the charity, but will primarily involve office tasks (post, inboxes, phone calls), as well as the administration of our various programmes (letter writing, updating the database, record keeping). We are looking for an experienced institutional funding expert to lead and manage a busy portfolio. This is a role in which the successful candidate will need to juggle multiple and complex projects. Key duties will include:

Role Overview:
Due to high number of non-UK nationals sleeping rough in London, there has been a need for a supported reconnection and resettlement service for Romanian nationals, with a focus on working with Roma people. On this basis, the Acasa Service was created to fill this gap. It is a voluntary reconnection service that assists people to reconnect to Romania, where clients have support finding employment, accommodation and accessing welfare services.
We are searching for a suitable Romanian speaking candidate to fill the role of Deputy Manager in our London office. The appointed candidate will join our team of professionals on a full-time (37.5 hours a week), 6 month fixed term contract with possibility of extension.
As the appointed personnel, you will work with Westminster Rough Sleeping services to identify clients who wish to return and are suitable to be referred into the service. You will also assess referrals to ensure prospective clients meet Acasa eligibility criteria, then help them to prepare to reconnect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that Acasa delivers excellent performance and a high quality service with measurable positive impact
- Work with Depaul colleagues to continuously develop the service, including drafting reports and presentations on the service
- Create relationships with and work closely with local authority partners, as well as build relationships with colleagues in central and regional government, as well as organisations in Romania
- Respond promptly to referrals, undertake in-depth assessments to assess suitability for the service and to inform support planning.
