About MAP
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. For more than 40 years, we have been delivering essential health and medical care to those most affected by conflict, displacement and occupation in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt) and Lebanon.

We are now responding to the largest emergency in our history. Over the last two and a half years, tens of thousands of new supporters have joined MAP. About the role
As Senior Supporter Retention Officer (Appeals and Islamic Giving), you will lead the development of supporter-led, multi-channel fundraising campaigns. You'll design bespoke supporter journeys for key audiences, including Islamic givers and mid-value supporters. You’ll play a pivotal role in strengthening relationships with both long-standing and new supporters of MAP, helping to grow income from existing audiences to fund vital medical aid. 

In collaboration with the Supporter Retention Manager, you will help shape the Individual Giving strategy, with a focus on cash appeals and our Islamic giving programme. You’ll also work closely with our Supporter Retention Officers, providing guidance and support while delivering impactful campaigns and supporter journeys.  

This is an important and exciting time to join MAP. As we grow our supporter retention programme, you’ll play a key role in enhancing supporter experience, developing our testing approach, and delivering high-performing campaigns.

This peer support project is delivered in partnership with South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust to support Carers of people with mental health conditions.  This project will work to support Carers through one-to-one support, outreach, training and peer support groups.

About The Role: 

Using your lived experience of caring for someone with a mental health condition, and a strengths-based approach, you will support mental health Carers in their caring role.  You will provide person centred one-to-one- support, information, signposting, and advocacy, develop, and facilitate peer support groups and deliver training and outreach sessions at different locations across the borough. 

Key Requirements of the role Include: 

• Lived experience of Caring for someone with a mental health condition 

• Knowledge and understanding of mental health and the associated challenges and support needs. 

• The ability to work within the principles and values of peer support. 

• Confidence supporting people on a one-to-one basis. 

• Experience of / ability to facilitate peer support groups and training.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Management

· Plan, manage and deliver successful campaigns across a range of channels including digital and print.

· Successful management of agencies and suppliers; ensuring relationships are effective and productive.

Ways of working:

As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

About the Role:

As a Complex Lives Navigator, you’ll be on the front line of supporting people experiencing rough sleeping, delivering the Reach Out offer directly to individuals who may be disengaged from services. • Recognise needs regarding substance misuse, mental health, domestic abuse, personality disorders and other psychological and behavioural issues.

We are recruiting As and When (Sessional) Project Workers to support our Common Ground service in Glasgow city centre. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

• To support the community work of Adoption UK Scotland community support services, to plan and deliver community events, provide professionals, parents/carers, children, and young people access to information, resources, and services and to engage with families in their local communities. 

• To offer a front-line service, primarily to adoptive and kinship families, and care experienced individuals and young people, by supporting delivery and administration for activities and events, including regular support groups delivery, youth and teens/young adults, and family events. Support of events across Scotland based on resources and availability.

• Support planning, organisation of, and attendance at, in person and online events through funded projects and services to bring together adopted and care-experienced individuals and young people and adoptive and kinship families, enable peer support, build a sense of community and promote an active and supportive Community Network.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working alongside service leads within the communities team, and with the wider Adoption UK Scotland team members to plan and deliver specific events and activities for adoptive and kinship community members, and care experienced children and young people via our E Project youth service for children, teens and young adults.

• Provide administrative coordination for community event provision, including collating event materials, gathering feedback and evaluations for reporting purposes, supporting delivery of events, maintaining records using existing required systems, and responding to enquiries via our Information and Support line and relevant email inboxes.

• Working alongside Communications colleagues and across teams to ensure promotion of events to relevant target groups 

• Attending events to promote the wider work of AUK Scotland at conferences or support groups

• To hold responsibility for administrative requirements relating to community events, including setting up booking pages, sharing information via newsletters and social media, and recording service delivery interactions, using existing Adoption UK systems and processes

• To work with colleagues in the Foundations for Families kinship support service to support delivery and coordinate activities between services where appropriate.

Felstead Street is a CQC registered care home, which has a heavy focus on supporting customers with enduring mental health care and elderly needs. We provide 24hr high support to 24 customers both female and male. Our building is a purpose-built home on two floors, offering customers individual bedrooms and the use of shared communal facilities and gardens. The service is commissioned by East London Foundation Trust with the care contribution from London Borough of Hackney.

Barnardos Child and Family Support Service Dundee is seeking a passionate and motivated applicant for a full time Project Worker 1 position in our team.

We are looking for a person who has a genuine interest in working with children and families providing support in a variety of settings including the family homes, schools and community locations and provide support either individually or with groups of children, young people and parents/carers. 

The service support includes working with children who have a disability/ additional support need and their families.  Applicants will have an awareness of issues impacting on children and their families including trauma, mental health, care experienced, domestic abuse and substance use.

The role includes:

*Community capacity building – supporting individual/groups by facilitating learning and development opportunities.

*Partnership working with community groups, building capacity for inclusion for children/families, building relationship and working through barriers.

*Responsibility for introductions between children/families and volunteers.

*Caseholding responsibility – ensuring aim of work/outcomes/compliance recording/risk assessments/volunteer log sheets.

Applicants should be committed, enthusiastic, motivated and have excellent communication skills and able to work in a collaborative manner, evidencing a respectful and inclusive approach.  You will be creative, innovative, adaptable and dynamic and able to deliver a person-centred and robust service to children and families.  The use of a warm, nurturing and empathetic approach is essential.  Applicants should be able to evidence professional curiosity.  You will have direct practice experience working with children and families and evidence an awareness of child/adult protection issues. 

A flexible approach is essential to providing support when families need it which will include early morning, evenings and weekends.

The successful applicant will be required to register with SSSC and undertake any identified conditional qualifications as the Dundee service has two Care Inspectorate registered services.

The role includes effective time management balancing direct support needs alongside administrative requirements of the post.

About the Role

We're looking for a Night Support Worker to join our night team in successfully rehabilitating and reintegrating our male residents and participants into the community. In this role, you will provide pathways, support, and appropriate interventions to enable successful resettlement. You will also collaborate with internal and external partners and agencies to achieve desired outcomes.

Our Complex Needs Accommodation provides supported accommodation, bespoke person-centred care and support as well as intensive housing management services in the community for adults with specific accommodation and well-being support needs. You will ensure the smooth running of the night service by conducting welfare checks, supporting residents, and handling any issues that arise. The role includes completing administrative tasks and providing thorough handovers with day staff and managers to maintain consistent service.

• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents and participants at all times
• Focusing on empowering our residents to take control over their lives and meet their personal goals
• Planning activities to engage residents with other people, communities, and opportunities
• Building trusting professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through tailored one to one sessions, group sessions, in and out of service activities, and general wellbeing check ins
• Be a valued and reliable member of the team, completing handovers for night colleagues for a seamless service

About the Role:

This is a hybrid role, based within Woodville Family Hub (Cheetham).

As a CYP Caseworker, you will be responsible for providing safe, high-quality, trauma informed and consistent support to children and young people who have experienced domestic violence and abuse and are currently living in interim accommodation. You will provide a range of evidence based support and interventions within 1:1 support and group work programmes, and provide advice, information and advocacy where necessary.
