The role of Communications and Publications Support Officer is key in helping us share knowledge, support our networks, and deliver high-quality outputs that influence practice and policy.

Responsibilities include:

• Produce and distribute the Faculty for Homeless and Inclusion Health fortnightly newsletter (via Mailchimp)

• Support the development and scheduling of social media content, helping to grow engaging content and reach

• Monitor and report on social media analytics

• Update the Pathway website with news, publications and resources, and support with website improvements

• Organise and support online meetings of the Faculty for Homeless and Inclusion Health and its subgroups

• Coordinate and support online specialist Masterclasses for people working in health and care provision for people in marginalised groups

• Support delivery of external events, including the annual Faculty for Homeless and Inclusion Health conference

• Coordinate publication of major Pathway reports, working with designers and printers

• Provide publishing and administrative support to Fellows undertaking research projects

• Deliver high-quality editing, formatting and presentation of shorter reports and documents

• Maintain the Faculty for Homeless and Inclusion Health database and mailing lists

• Maintain and support Pathway document sharing and organisation on SharePoint and OneDrive

• Ensure Pathway resources are organised and accessible to support external communications

About you – it is essential you have:

· Experience of working in a communications or administration role (including remote working)

· Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Experience of maintaining or updating websites, including WordPress

· Experience of using social media professionally (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.), creating content and understanding social analytics

· Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, MS Teams, Canva, Mailchimp and similar tools

· Experience of using digital tools to prepare and format documents, including academic reports or publications

The Hepatitis C Trust runs national peer-led projects using lived experience of drug use and hepatitis C to educate service users and staff in drug, alcohol, homeless and allied services, to increase hepatitis C awareness, and access to testing and treatment for people living with hepatitis C.

We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Peer Lead with strong communication and organisational skills, particularly someone with experience working with marginalised communities and supporting volunteers. We particularly encourage applications from people with lived or living experience of drug use and hepatitis C.

As part of our Birmingham and West Midlands Follow Me peer project, the role involves close working with hepatitis C clinical teams, recruiting and supporting volunteers, delivering workshops, coordinating testing, delivering harm reduction interventions ensuring that service users are referred and supported through hepatitis C treatment and care. Extensive travel is required, and applicants must have a clean driving license and their own vehicle.

As a Trainee Floating Support Worker, you will travel across London to meet clients in their homes and communities, tackling housing issues, supporting health and wellbeing, and helping them achieve personal goals. The work is varied, fast-paced and deeply rewarding, with every shift – whether early mornings, late evenings, weekends or bank holidays – bringing the chance to see real change happen.

In return, you will be part of a comprehensive and engaging Trainee Programme, with support around you from day one. You will learn through trainee-specific workshops, formal training, reflective practice, service visits and hands-on experience alongside knowledgeable colleagues across SHP. Over the course of the traineeship, which usually runs for up to 9 months with the possibility of fast-track at 6 months, you will build skills in areas such as housing, benefits, mental health, safeguarding and recovery-focused support. As your confidence and practice grows, your salary will increase at six and nine months, recognising your development and achievements as you build a meaningful career helping people move from homelessness and crisis towards safety, stability and independence.

Camden Disability Action (CDA) is looking for a friendly Digital Champion to support Disabled people to access technology and online services. We are looking for someone with lived experience of disability or a long-term health condition, who feels comfortable using everyday digital devices and explaining them in a patient and accessible way.You must be a Disabled person and/or have a long-term health condition to apply for this role.  

This role is all about digital inclusion, helping to remove barriers to technology, and ensuring Disabled people can access the digital world in ways that work for them.

As a Digital Champion, you will work closely with the Digital Inclusion Lead and Volunteers to deliver digital skills sessions twice a week. You will use both digital knowledge and excellent people skills to support Disabled adults to use everyday devices, such as smartphones, laptops and tablets. Outside the delivery of sessions, you will carry out light administration tasks and contribute to occasional digital events with partner organisations.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Worker to join our teams in Southwark. This role is based in a Semi Independent service based across 12 sites within the Southwark borough.

In this role, you will work together with clients to identify their personal aims and ambitions and support them to make and carry out plans towards achieving them. You will also ensure the client can identify and access relevant services within the borough, whilst liaising with other statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure the appropriate support for clients.

Your role will specifically based across 2-3 sites but will be expected to visit the others as required to support the team.

We work with a Recovery Based Approach, tailoring support to each individual’s needs and goals.

This is a full-time role in a well-established charity based in Twickenham. This role would suit someone who wants to have the opportunity to work flexibly and build their career in the Charity sector with experience of working in social care.

Richmond Carers Centre has the mission to help unpaid adult carers to live a full, active and meaningful life by providing them with advice, information, activities, breaks and emotional support either face to face, by phone or by email to enable them to live well.

As an Adult Carers Support Worker, you will be part of a small, dedicated team and take a lead on providing emotional support to adult carers and a commitment to enhancing their health and wellbeing. Much of your work will involve actively listening to carers, often via the phone support line, providing information, advice and support. As part of the Adult Carers Support Team, you will also be involved in organising breaks for carers, outreach activities and leisure events, as well as group work to help enhance carers’ health and wellbeing. Part of the role will also aim to improve the identification, recognition and understanding of the needs of adult carers, raise the profile of adult carers and ensure adult carers needs are met. You’ll also be expected to work with our volunteers and to use appropriate monitoring and evaluation reports to show our funders what we’ve achieved.

Mile End Young Peoples service provides support and housing in Tower Hamlets that are either leaving care or affected by youth homelessness. You will be expected to deliver positive outcomes for all our young people and support them to reach independence, keep safe and maintain their tenancy's. The South London Women’s Hostel is a 24-hour supported accommodation, offering specialist multi-disciplinary gender specific and trauma informed support to women with multiple complex needs. The South London Women’s Hostel sits within the Chrysalis Project to provide support to women who currently or have recently experienced domestic abuse, sexual exploitation, violence against women and girls (VAWG); and/or have multiple disadvantages.

In the role of Project Worker, you will support clients on their journey toward increased independence. You will manage a caseload of residents, helping them develop the skills and confidence required to move on to appropriate longer‑term or independent accommodation. The role focuses on empowering residents to build on their strengths, develop practical life skills, and maintain independence in the community.

Working in this role, your key responsibilities will be to:

• Work with women to identify their personal aims and ambitions and work towards achieving them.
• Support clients to access therapeutic services.
• Support financial resilience through access to DWP services, work experience and training.
• Undertake everyday housing management tasks, including health and safety and the clearing of rooms.
• Provide practical and personal support to clients in an approachable, caring and person-centred way.
• Work as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide safe, high quality, positive and inclusive service to clients.

• Work 12.5hour a day 8am-8.30pm, 3 times a week, rolling rota including weekends and bank holidays.

For this role staff can claim an additional 20% pay premium for hours worked between 8pm and 8am Monday to Friday, and all hours worked on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays.

We have a dedicated team of Support Workers, Night Workers and additional Bank Workers who provide support, guidance, and signposting around areas such as housing, budgeting, living skills, jobs, relationship building and wellbeing. Situated in the middle of Horsham, the service has strong links with and contributes to the local community.

We adopt a trauma informed and psychologically informed approach to supporting our residents to help them build essential life skills, identify their goals and work towards aspirations so that they can move on to enjoy fully independent futures.

We are looking for a Supported Housing Support Worker to join our team, who will hold a caseload of residents and meet with them weekly to build a support plan. Main areas of responsibilities are:

Housing and Compliance

• Support young people to understand and comply with their occupancy agreements, including coaching them to meet house rules and responsibilities as part of preparing for successful independent living.
• Promote a strong rent‑payment and credit culture, encouraging residents to maintain regular payments and understand their financial obligations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of housing legislation, welfare benefits, and statutory requirements affecting young people, ensuring practice aligns with current housing law and organisational policies.
• Respond promptly and effectively to breaches of agreement, including rent arrears, antisocial behaviour, or property damage, using restorative approaches where appropriate and working collaboratively with the wider team.

Coaching and Engagement

• Coach young people so they can articulate their aspirations and ambitions and take the lead in acquiring the skills they need to live independent and fulfilling lives.
• Ensure young people are encouraged to take responsibility for their own personal development, to engage with the services on offer and build strong networks and connections within the local community.
• Ensure consistent standards of safeguarding and Trauma Informed Practice when supporting young people, observing our safeguarding procedures, and keeping yourself and residents safe by respecting professional boundaries.
• Maintain client records on In-Form (client database) detailing the young person’s journey in relation to their strengths and needs, any risks, and any outcomes (to monitor service performance).

There will be times when lone working will be a requirement for this role, but you will get to know the team and service, along with an induction and training prior to starting on a rota.

Skills and Abilities

• Confident in record‑keeping, including case notes, incident reporting, and health and safety checks.
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing for appropriate recording of a resident’s progression, and to evidence outcomes achieved.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including signposting and advocating for clients as necessary.
• Ability to work autonomously, and use own initiative, as well as being part of a team.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, good IT, and keyboard skills.
