Programme and Operations Assistants are the backbone of the day-to-day running of NEON. The purpose of this role is to ensure Comms Hub operations run smoothly and that the wider org has a dynamic online presence.
The Comm Hub has a busy training schedule with a host of different trainings running throughout the year. Primarily you will support organising in-person and online training, scheduling meetings and helping with administrative tasks across the Hub. For 1 day per week you will be the comms officer for the rest of the organisation. This means working with the rest of the team to schedule and regularly post about NEON’s work on social media, build our social media presence and ensure the NEON website is up to date. The purpose of this role is:

Ensure NEON’s Communications Hub’s operations run smoothly, simply and effectively - whether that’s organising venue and transport for our flagship Spokesperson Network training, scheduling meetings or organising team away days.

Context and Background
The NSPCC's mission is to end cruelty to children. In order to carry out its charitable work, the NSPCC relies on the fundraising support of people across the UK for 85% of its annual income. The Special Events team focuses on fundraising events as a key part of audience-led fundraising. Job purpose
· To contribute to the Income Generation department’s purpose of maximising income from potential and current supporters through project managing specific events (including securing sponsorship), and providing committee support

· To work effectively with other departments in Income Generation and other functions within the NSPCC to maximise income for children

Main duties and responsibilities
· To lead and scope out new events and opportunities
· To successfully manage and deliver large-scale events and special projects within the portfolio of events, overseeing all event logistics and relationship management and development of Special Events Managers when working on shared projects

Person specification

Senior Administrator Officer
Location: Based at one of our Centre 33 Hubs (Ely, Cambridge, Huntingdon, Peterborough, Wisbech) with regular travel across all 5 hubs.

The Camden Short Breaks Team, as part of the Children, Young People, Families and Engagement service at Centre 404, delivers person-centred homebased and community-based outreach support for children and young people with a learning disability.
Centre 404 is seeking a dynamic and organised Short Breaks and Family Engagement Manager to lead the development and delivery of engaging activities, workshops, and support services for children and young people with disabilities and their families. Based in North London, this role involves coordinating short breaks and family engagement activities across boroughs including Islington, Camden, Tower Hamlets, Haringey, and Enfield, in line with local authority contracts and community needs.
Responsibilities will include:
- ·Planning and delivering workshops, forums, well-being sessions and social events for families
- · Developing outreach programmes to engage family carers
- · Supervising volunteers
- · Using creative and tech skills to promote activities and monitor success

The Individual Giving Officer role has come about due to growth and investment in the team. You will report into the Individual Giving Manager and will help achieve the income target of £1.3 million. Tasks will include, day to day admin for campaigns; running a direct mail appeal (with income between £10-20K); copy and content creation; research; invoice processing and complaint handling; speaking to donors; liaising with external agencies; and working on the stewardship journey.

About the Role
