We're looking for a kind, compassionate and resilient Waking Night Support Worker to join our Homelessness Social Care Service in Kensington & Chelsea.

£23,088.00 per annum, working 30 hours per week. 3 nights on and 4 nights off

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

As a Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for our service users. You will provide immediate support to individuals experiencing crisis situations, ensuring they receive appropriate assistance and access to emergency services where required. Working calmly and professionally, you will respond to out-of-hours enquiries, offer first-contact advice, and treat all service users with dignity, respect, and compassion, even in challenging circumstances.

You will be responsible for maintaining the safety, security, and smooth running of the building during night shifts, including carrying out regular health and safety checks, monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, conducting building patrols, and responding appropriately to emergencies such as fire alarms or other incidents. The role also includes recording maintenance issues, supporting the upkeep of the premises, completing cleaning duties, and ensuring all project records are maintained accurately in line with procedures. Working closely with management and on-call support, you will help ensure policies and procedures are followed while contributing to a safe and positive environment for both service users and colleagues. Additionally, you may support wider organisational objectives through collaboration on service development opportunities and the retention of existing services.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and supporting people with mental health needs in a care or supported housing environment. The successful candidate will have knowledge of housing management, including maintenance and repairs, and be able to accurately maintain records, follow established policies and procedures, and use computer-based systems to document work and client information.

You will have experience of working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges and a good understanding of the signs, symptoms, and treatments associated with mental illness, enabling you to identify changes in a service user's wellbeing and take appropriate action. In this role, you will assess young people referred to the service and determine their suitability for New Horizon's Accommodation Pathway or private rented accommodation. You will provide high-quality, person-centred support to young people living within our accommodation projects, helping them to build the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes. You will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload across multiple accommodation schemes, completing assessments, developing support plans, and working closely with young people to identify and secure appropriate move-on options into independent living in a timely manner. The role requires effective partnership working with internal teams, local authorities, landlords, and other external agencies to ensure young people receive coordinated and holistic support.

The Post

The purpose of the job is to provide face to face support work and guidance to Disabled people within their workplaces. The post holder will provide the necessary support and encouragement to enable them to be successful, which will lead, eventually, to independence. The post holder will also work closely with, and take guidance from, their supervisor within AoD. They will work closely with the employer of the Disabled person to ensure the employer has the skills and confidence to manage and train their intern/employee.

Main duties and responsibilities

• To work face-to-face with individual Disabled people, under the guidance of their AoD Supervisor, in accordance with their personalised support plans
• To be fully cognitive of the workplace of the Disabled person to identify the requirements of key tasks
• To follow bespoke Support Plans plans which will enable the Disabled person to fulfil their role to meet the requirements of the employer
• To provide weekly feedback to their AoD Supervisor to ensure continued progression, identifying new areas in need of support, and advising on the amendment of support plans accordingly
• Together with their Supervisor, to plan, discuss and implement a timely reduction of support as and when the Disabled individual becomes familiar and competent with their role

Join a growing Therapeutic service supporting children, young people and families.

Link Adoption & Family Support Service provides therapeutic support services for children, young people, and families across the UK. Much of our work is focused within adoption services, supporting adoptive families, children, and young people who have been adopted. We also provide therapeutic services to Special Guardians, kinship carers, and foster carers.

More recently, we have expanded our provision to support wider communities through partnerships with Barnardo's projects, health authorities, charities and voluntary sector organisations. Services are delivered both face-to-face and virtually across the UK.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Therapeutic Social Worker to join our dynamic therapeutic services team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Social Worker to play a key role in coordinating therapeutic interventions that make a meaningful difference to the lives of children and families.

Working within a trauma-informed and attachment-focused service, you will manage referrals from initial enquiry through to case closure, ensuring children and families receive timely, appropriate support. You will work collaboratively  with therapists, commissioners, local authorities, and families to coordinate high-quality therapeutic interventions and help achieve positive outcomes.

The successful candidate will:

• Lead the assessment, planning and case management of therapeutic support packages, coordinating referrals from enquiry to closure and ensuring children, young people and families receive tailored, child-centred interventions.
