PWSA UK is a small charity providing lifelong support to all those affected by Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS).

PWS is a rare genetic disorder that affects multiple aspects of a person's health and behaviour. Due to the complexity of the condition, specialised training for social care, health and education providers is essential to ensure proper support, care, safety, and quality of life for individuals with PWS.

We are looking for an experienced training manager who can lead our external training to make a real difference to the quality of care and support provided for people living with PWS.

We are looking for an inspirational, qualified trainer/practitioner with experience and knowledge of health, education and social care provision to develop and deliver external training for a range of service providers.

This is a new role with PWSA UK with opportunity to scope and develop PWS specialist training and increase our impact.

The primary focus for the new role is to generate sustainable charitable giving from individuals, maintaining and growing our Friends memberships and developing significant income from major donors. We will also welcome input on stewardship of trusts and foundations if this is also your area of expertise.

We are a leading choral singing organisation and run residential summer courses for children and young people. Our artistic director, Ralph Allwood, founded the organisation 45 years ago, since when over 10,000 young people have benefited from our life-changing courses. Nowadays, around one third of students receive generous bursary support to attend a course and we also work with a range of partner organisations to encourage even more young people from diverse backgrounds to take part in our choral singing courses. We want to secure the future of the organisation and increase the number of students we can support by significantly growing our individual  giving.

We are looking for an experienced fundraiser to work up to 2 days per week on a freelance basis to help us move up a gear or two in terms of our fundraising, specifically to develop private giving from our extensive alumni network and the many successful individuals who feel music education at a young age made them the person they are today.

We have an office in central London but the job can be done remotely with occasional meetings with the General Manager, either in person or virtually.

About this role:

The main duties and responsibilities for the Heads of Development role are as follows:

INDIVIDUAL GIVING

· Maintain and build relationships with our donors, and identify new individuals who would like to see the Rodolfus Choral Foundation thrive

· Use our extensive alumni list to source and maintain donors

· Use contacts from the artistic director and trustees to generate new donors

·  Ensure that our top and potential donors are well looked after and researched, passing on key information to the Artistic Director and, where appropriate, arranging meetings between him and our donors

· Organise and co-host special donor events in unique venues

· Plan and help organise membership events for donors

· Help establish a legacy giving scheme for Rodolfus

· Have overall responsibility for reaching individual giving targets

· Ensure that data is accurately kept in our database in line with GDPR, and is harnessed to support our fundraising efforts

STRATEGIC PLANNING & REPORTING

· Develop a five-year Fundraising Strategy

· Set ambitious but achievable targets for each year, within the overall Rodolfus budget

· Contribute new ideas and find new opportunities for fundraising

· Produce quarterly fundraising updates for the Trustees

· Produce a fundraising report for the annual accounts, identifying strengths, weaknesses and areas for development in the Fundraising Strategy

TRUSTS AND GRANT-MAKING BODIES

· Liaise with the General Manager to ensure a coordinated fundraising plan and targets, in keeping with the artistic vision for Rodolfus

· Proof and submit applications and be the point of contact for Trusts and Foundations (this work is currently supported by the General Manager and a fundraising consultant)

GENERAL

· Attend Team and Board meetings as required

· Be a passionate advocate at all times for Rodolfus

· Adhere to all legal requirements relating to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as well as all other company policies and procedures

· Create a positive work environment, underpinned by the organisation’s values

About the role

At Young Lives vs Cancer, we have our own unique role to play in reaching the North Star. We know our strengths and where we can have the most impact to best support children and young people with cancer. Within our new strategy ‘The Time is Now’ we set out four strategic ambitions, the first stating we will continue to be a major service delivery provider: offering high quality, impactful services. We are proud to lead the way in delivering high-level, psychosocial support and accommodation services throughout cancer treatment, end-of-life, and bereavement and we want to ensure our investment in this area is optimised to make sure we always provide the tailored support that children, young people and families need and that our services remain relevant.

You will be joining an established operational leadership team who are committed to continuous service improvement. Service Managers play a key leadership role in the management and development of a region, which is made up of three social work teams located alongside Principal Treatment Centres which are Leeds, Newcastle and Sheffield. Your responsibilities will include delivering service standards, and compliance. You will interface with NHS stakeholder colleagues to promote effective governance and multi-disciplinary relationships with a focus on smooth referral pathways. We're recruiting for an Individual Giving Manager to join our team, and take the lead on our warm programme, bringing in around £1.2 million donated income per year. This role offers a mixture of campaign and project management, innovation and creative thinking. You'll be able to analyse results and apply insights to optimise and improve campaigns.

As a Individual Giving Manager you will

• Lead on the development and implementation of an effective programme to develop supporters using a range of channels, including but not limited to direct mail, telemarketing, DRTV and digital, and products including cash, raffle, regular giving, weekly lottery. 

• Assist the Senior Individual Giving Manager to develop and implement an effective development strategy in order to maximise the lifetime value of supporters and the long-term sustainable net income raised for Barnardo's. 

• Manage income and expenditure budgets. 

• Line manage up to 3 direct reports. 

 You will have experience of :

• Working in a fundraising environment, specifically in direct marketing and across different channels.
• Delivering campaigns using a project management approach.

We are recruiting a Community Engagement and Events Officer to assist in the delivery and stewardship of our growing virtual events programme, and support on the development of our bespoke activities such as Starlight Walk and Ribbon Run.

This is an exciting time to join Sands as we are in a period of ambitious growth. This role will make a valuable contribution to Sands’ fundraising strategy and will help to deliver a range of new and existing fundraising activities in our programme. 

In this new role you will be responsible for the management of our online fundraising communities, assist with the promotion, recruitment, and logistics of several of our fundraising activities as well as helping to improve and streamline our stewardship processes.

The post-holder will develop and build positive relationships with our supporters to ensure that they all receive a great supporter experience, and to help to maximise our fundraiser income and supporter engagement.  Additionally, you will help Sands to recruit and deliver our fundraising activities to the highest of standards and ensure that all our fundraisers feel valued through excellent stewardship.

You will have relevant experience of event fundraising, a good understanding of social media’s role within this area and be able to demonstrate experience of digital advertising. A highly effective communicator, you will have excellent written and verbal skills and be confident in responding to supporters needs.

Support Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following stroke. We are looking for an innovative, passionate and professional individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to join a Stroke Recovery Service based in East Kent.

Position: S11278 Stroke Support Coordinator

Location: Home based, Thanet, East Kent, however, regular travel will be required as part of this role within the service area (may include other travel in London and nationally to include team meetings or other work-related meetings). 

Salary: circa £16,461 per annum

Hours: 21 hours per week

Contract: Permanent. Services are contracted and there is currently funding for this contract until 31 March 2026.

The Role

The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes. A key part of the role will be to support service users and the delivery of the service.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Coach, the Stroke Support Coordinator will:

• Support new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.
• Provide personalised information, advice and support.
• Support clients to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to prevent further strokes
• Be accountable for volunteers, so experience of recruiting, training and managing volunteers would be an advantage.

About You

You will have:

• Excellent IT skills and demonstrate a flexible approach to your role.
• A caring profession ideally with experience of supporting people with disabilities.
• Setting up and running virtual groups.

This role is home based, but extensive travel is required across the local area and occasionally further afield. The use of a car with business use cover and the ability to drive is essential to be able to fulfil the requirements of the role.

This organisation runs over 1,000 UK projects that transform the lives of almost 300,000 children and young people every year. Their work supports children living in poverty, children that have been sexually exploited, children living with a disability, children living with domestic violence, and young carers who look after an ill parent or relative.

As the Individual Giving Manager, you will be responsible for taking the lead on the day-to-day operational delivery of fundraising campaigns, including campaign planning, financial management, working across teams and departments and line management of two. This role focuses on managing the indiviudal giving warm programme, bringing in around £1.2 million donated income per year, plus supporting the recruitment and stewardship of donors to achieve the best supporter experience.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in individual giving fundraising and be confident in delivering a range of individual giving campaigns and developing strategies. You will also have previous budget management experience and be confident collaborating with a small team. You will have good knowledge of individual giving trends and be able to use audience insights to make strategic decisions to encourage income growth and donor loyalty.

This a permanent position that can be homebased with occasional travel. It will also offer a salary of £34,925 - £37,420.
