This is an exciting role that will rely on a strong combination of excellent organisational and account management skills to support the Partnerships Team’s ambitious fundraising strategy.

You will support the development and management of relationships with external partners, helping to enhance the team’s outreach, funding opportunities, and collaborative projects. This role involves administrative support, stakeholder communication, and event and volunteer coordination to ensure effective partnership engagement and experience.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to further develop your skills and understanding of corporate fundraising by supporting the Partnerships Team to develop and launch an exciting portfolio of corporate products and events, paying close attention to the evolving needs of partners in an ever-increasing digital environment.

With experience of managing a corporate partnerships portfolio of at least £75,000, you will have managed corporate fundraisers including Charity of the Year Partnerships, cause-related marketing partnerships and sponsors.

We are looking for someone who has an eye for detail, is able to manage their time effectively and ensure the highest supporter experience. You will need to have strong IT skills including the use of a fundraising database.

This role will also provide support to colleagues within the Income & Engagement Department to optimise income and awareness raising activities.

We are recruiting a Community Engagement and Events Officer to assist in the delivery and stewardship of our growing virtual events programme, and support on the development of our bespoke activities such as Starlight Walk and Ribbon Run.

This is an exciting time to join Sands as we are in a period of ambitious growth. This role will make a valuable contribution to Sands’ fundraising strategy and will help to deliver a range of new and existing fundraising activities in our programme. 

In this new role you will be responsible for the management of our online fundraising communities, assist with the promotion, recruitment, and logistics of several of our fundraising activities as well as helping to improve and streamline our stewardship processes.

The post-holder will develop and build positive relationships with our supporters to ensure that they all receive a great supporter experience, and to help to maximise our fundraiser income and supporter engagement.  Additionally, you will help Sands to recruit and deliver our fundraising activities to the highest of standards and ensure that all our fundraisers feel valued through excellent stewardship.

You will have relevant experience of event fundraising, a good understanding of social media’s role within this area and be able to demonstrate experience of digital advertising. Job purpose

The Clinical Lead will play a pivotal role in leading and developing Action for ME’s Healthcare Services with the Operations Director, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care for individuals affected by Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME). The postholder will be responsible for clinical oversight, service development, and leadership, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance outcomes for children and adults with ME and will be the CQC Registered Manager for the service.

At present, the Healthcare Services is a small team with two doctors (GPs) and two physios. Our counsellors are overseen by a Counselling Lead Supervisor and our multi-faith Chaplains are supported by our Lead Chaplain.

We are keen to develop and expand our services, building on the small amount of spot purchasing from local commissioning boards and exploring a diagnosing and prescribing offer. We are also keen to explore the potential of increasing the range of disciplines offered within the team. You will play a key role in driving the strategy for our Healthcare Services with the Director of Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical support and expertise to Action for ME's Healthcare Services, ensuring evidence-based, person-centred care.

• Act as Registered Manager for CQC (Care Quality Commission) purposes and ensure that the service meets all required standards.

• Lead the development and implementation of clinical policies, protocols, and best practices in line with national guidelines and regulatory requirements.

• Supervise and support healthcare professionals within the service, offering guidance, mentorship, and training.

• Designated safeguarding officer for Healthcare Services.

• Collaborate with external stakeholders, including NHS services, researchers, and others, to enhance healthcare provision for people with ME.

• Ensure the service complies with regulatory and safeguarding standards, including CQC requirements where applicable.

• Monitor and evaluate service delivery, using data-driven insights to improve clinical outcomes and patient experience.

• Provide expert advice on complex cases, supporting staff with clinical decision-making.

• Represent Action for M.E. at external forums, conferences, and policy discussions.

Person specification

• A registered healthcare professional (e.g., doctor, nurse, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist) with active professional registration (GMC, NMC, HCPC or equivalent) OR an experienced commissioner of healthcare services with experience of quality assurance, safeguarding and compliance.

• Extensive clinical experience in chronic illness management OR sound understanding of clinical practice, ideally with expertise in ME or related conditions and a clear understanding of the challenges faced by people with ME.

• An understanding of Care Quality Commission regulatory requirements.

• Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting, including team management and service development.

• Strong understanding of evidence-based practice and clinical governance.

10. Be an advocate for marginalised young people, the issues they face, and youth workers and projects working with them (pursuing prophetic mischief, provocation, and taking up our unique space in the youth ministry community).
11. Make links with appropriate Christian, voluntary and statutory bodies and to represent FYT in appropriate forums and pursue opportunities for collaborative working.
12. Support the active promotion of the FYT training and resource offer.
13. Lead the monitoring and evaluation (impact assessment) of FYT’s work

Other functions:

1. Meet regularly with Line Manager for supervision.
2. Undertake administration and keep necessary work records.
3. Comply with all FYT policies and procedures.

• The Leadership Team is supported by a contract with Giraffe HR that assists in the day to day running of the organisation, primarily managing the finances of the organisation.
• Engagement in ongoing, regular youth work with marginalised young people is not a requirement of this post, but encouraged. FYT will be flexible where possible in order to facilitate this.

Blue Cross animal hospitals and pet care clinics provide veterinary treatment to sick and injured pets when their owners can’t afford private veterinary fees. Our vet care is available to pets whose owners receive certain means-tested benefits and live within the catchment area of one of our animal hospitals or pet care clinics.  

We have developed an award-winning set of clinical guidelines to assist our vets in pragmatic, evidence-based decision making, where patient welfare is a priority. About you

As a Veterinary Nurse, you will be confident and capable in delivering excellent nursing care for a range of small animals, providing both emergency and routine healthcare. About the role

As Housing Rights Worker, you will deliver high quality housing advice and advocacy in line with the hub’s local community priorities. This will involve working alongside people who are experiencing homelessness and bad housing to identify issues facing local communities.  You will plan and deliver casework to individuals and communities to resolve their housing situation, networking and engaging with community groups, local organisations and individuals to understand local housing issues and raise awareness of housing rights.

You will also work within local community settings and alongside community groups, delivering advice and rights awareness workshops. You will ensure that people with lived experience of homelessness have opportunities to share their story, give their views and participate in the design and delivery of Shelter services. You will offer day to day support to volunteers, provide learning, shadowing and mentoring and be a consistent role model for Shelter’s values.

About you

You will have the ability to engage and work collaboratively with individuals, communities and with all stakeholders, including running group workshops and presentations. You have experience, knowledge of and/or proven ability in housing and homelessness advice and advocacy, with the ability to progress to specialist level knowledge. Essential to the role will be good time management, carrying out casework related interviews, maintaining detailed case records and offering advice and support to clients to inform their decisions.

Shelter Bristol provides vital housing advice and support services, specialising in emergency homelessness work, intensive support to children and families, people experiencing domestic abuse and those experiencing multiple disadvantages. The Lancashire Hub has 25 staff and you will be a key member of the team defending the right to a safe home. Each of Shelter’s hubs has its own local priorities based on the issues our clients have. For Lancashire these are Homelessness and temporary accommodation, the private rented sector and social housing and people living in poverty.

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrator to support the smooth running of our Programmes and Operations. This role is essential in ensuring that our logistics, partnerships, and communications run efficiently, allowing us to reach and support more young people. You will work closely with suppliers, referrers, and our internal team to coordinate key aspects of our programmes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Programme & Operations Support

• Support the coordination of OSH’s residentials, events, and programmes, ensuring logistics run smoothly.

• Arrange bookings (e.g. facilitators, venues, catering, transport) to ensure contracts and payments are managed efficiently.

• Assist in staff recruitment and volunteer management with recruitment, interview scheduling, onboarding, inductions, organising meetings and receiving feedback.

• Manage resources in our lock up (based in Hornsey)

Administrative & Organisational Support

• Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation to ensure compliance and efficiency.

• Handle general inquiries via email and phone, acting as a key point of contact for external stakeholders.

• Support the team with minute-taking in meetings.

Partnerships & Referrals

• Communicate with referrers (such as youth groups, schools, social workers, and community organisations) to ensure young people are referred and engaged in our programmes.

• Support with phoning participants and referrers to support them to complete sign up forms where necessary

• Track and monitor referral processes, ensuring smooth communication and follow-ups with referrers to maximise participation at our events

• Maintain good relationships with external partners such as venues, facilitators, transport companies and other organisations we work with. 

Finance & Compliance Support

• Assist with financial administration, such as processing invoices, logging donations, and tracking expenses.

• Ensure OSH meets data protection and safeguarding requirements, keeping records up to date.

Other duties

• Getting involved in OSH events in the evenings and at weekends, including residentials. These are overnight trips from 2 to 5 nights

• Other duties as may be required from time to time

IDEAL EXPERIENCE

• Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Experience in the charity, youth, or refugee/migrant sector.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Confident in communicating with external partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.

• Proactive, with the ability to take initiative and problem-solve.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records.

• IT proficient, including experience with email, spreadsheets, and document management.

• Knowledge of financial administration (e.g. processing invoices).

• Understanding of and commitment to data protection principles and maintaining confidentiality. 

• Ability to speak in other languages relevant to our community, including Arabic, Pashto, Farsi, Tigrinya, Amharic, and Oromo.
