Key Duties:
- To be the first point of contact for the existing network of Digital Champions in the borough, and support organisations to recruit, onboard and manage new Digital Champions.
- To directly manage a pool of Digital Champions under BVSC and lead on recruitment, onboarding, and training.
- To organise regular online and face-to-face meetings for Digital Champions.
- To develop and implement a communications plan that raises awareness of the Digital Champions Network in Bexley and of the challenges and opportunities digital inclusion presents.

The Peer Support Coordinator will play a critical role in the delivery of Day One's Peer Support Service. Job Purpose
This role sits within our new Men’s Minds project, based in Hounslow. The aim of the service is to improve men’s mental health outcomes by developing a mental health network supported and directed by the voices of its members.
This will be achieved through three service strands: 1) Peer support network, 2) Psychoeducation workshops, addressing common needs of men’s mental health 3) Outreach support to raise awareness of men’s mental health and promote this service.
The Men’s Minds Project Coordinator will work closely with the members in shaping the service and ensuring voices of men in Hounslow are heard and acted upon. This service will be staffed with 1 part-time (25hrs per week) Project Coordinator and a pool of peer led volunteers. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the volunteers.

SPANA - The Society for the Protection of Animals Abroad is the global charity for working animals in low-income countries. Since 1923, we have supported the welfare of working animals, including donkeys, horses, camels and elephants, in communities that depend on working animals for water, transport, agriculture and their very survival. Today, we support working animals across 26 countries, through a series of global projects and partnerships.
We are looking for a Global Resources Coordinator to ensure operations within our global resources team run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities include providing general administrative support to different teams within Global Resources, manage supply of office resources and equipment, arrange travel, managing relationships with key suppliers, coordinating schedules and meetings and supporting HR administrative duties.
While we classify this role as hybrid, it's worth noting that the vast majority of your work can be done from the comfort of your own home. Occasional in-person visits to our London office (located in Borough High Street), and all-staff gatherings will be necessary. Our full time hours are 34.5 hours per week and we offer core working hours between 10am and 4pm.
Key responsibilities
- Assist staff and visitors with travel booking and coordination when travelling overseas, including booking flights, arranging visas and travel vaccinations.
- Main contact for travel agent building good working relationship.
- Support the Global Resources Director to coordinate and track all insurance policy renewals.
- Liaise with insurance brokers on renewals to ensure competitive costing and ensure timely renewal for all insurance premiums.
- Maintain and order office supplies, stationery, and equipment from the most competitive suppliers.
- Manage and maintain the fixed asset register.
- Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job adverts, preparing weekly vacancy listing, supporting interviews, checking references, and drafting employment contracts.
- Support induction processes for new joiners.
- Maintain the employee absent management system and support with any changes/updates.
- Preparation of documentation for all aspects of the employee life cycle, including leavers, changes to terms and conditions, maternity and paternity and flexible working requests.
- Support the Global People and EDI Manager to coordinate the appraisal process, ensure appraisals are conducted and collate training needs into a report for review and action.
About you
- High level working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Proven experience providing administrative support across teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain complete confidence.
- Ability to work effectively on own initiative.
- Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills, with the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with staff always showing tact and discretion.
- The ability to work accurately, with attention to detail.
- Personable and happy to help others with a keen interest in improving processes.
- Practical experience of working within or supporting HR is desirable.

Our friendly team in Hammersmith help people living with mental health problems to develop a sense of independence, purpose and fulfilment and gain the skills they need to return to work or simply live a more fulfilling life. But, we need your help.
As a Befriending Coordinator, you will support individuals with lived experience of mental health issues one on one through befriending to help reform and improve their lives. You will also help recruit, support and match volunteers to work with our clients and develop befriending networks that will empower service users to improve and sustain their mental health and wellbeing. Along the way you might support other areas of our service such as peer support groups, workshops and social events for local clients.
To succeed, you’ll need:
- Communication skills, written and verbal, to confidently consult, liaise and work effectively with clients, volunteers, colleagues and a wide range of organisations.

- Time management skills, prioritising and planning work.

This is a permanent full-time role requiring the post holder to work 37.5 hours per week.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our new service supporting Unpaid Carers across Lewisham to improve their health and wellbeing, and access support that meets their needs.
The team works with unpaid Adult Carers, Young Adult Carers and Young Carers, completing statutory and holistic assessments to understand people’s individual circumstances and level of need. You will carry out home visits and community meetings, co-produce support plans, and develop effective relationships with Unpaid Carers, families, and professionals.
You’ll build on your local knowledge to signpost and facilitate access for Unpaid Carers to support services, including financial and benefit advice, housing, health and safety home systems, and leisure and social activities. You will also support the development of escalation plans so that Unpaid Carers are prepared for unforeseen circumstances that would impact negatively on ability to care.
Applicants should have relevant personal or professional experience of working with Unpaid Carers and/or vulnerable adults or children in a social care, health, education or voluntary and community sector. You’ll need a practical understanding of barriers faced by Unpaid Carers, and an awareness of cultural differences and access to services. Experience of working in mental health or dementia services would be an advantage.
