We are looking for a skilled trust fundraising leader to take on the key role of Senior Trusts and Grants Manager, supporting our mission to help people rebuild their lives and end homelessness for good.

As Senior Trusts and Grants Manager, you’ll lead a thriving team of four, manage strategic funding relationships, and ensure ambitious income targets are achieved. You’ll also maintain your own portfolio of high-value funders, representing St Mungo’s with confidence and credibility.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value trusts and foundations to secure essential funding for our work.
• Lead, support, and inspire the Trusts and Grants team, maintaining a collaborative and positive team culture,where everyone can achieve their income and relationship management targets.
• Oversee the overall trusts programme, including pipeline development,  proposal quality, income tracking, due diligence, and relationships.
• Act as the organisational lead on trust fundraising, enabling senior colleagues to build strong relationships with key funders.

In this role you will be required to work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in Tower Hill, London. This allows for training, in person collaboration, team building, line management and other relationship building opportunities. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for agile working for the rest of your week; from home, or other St Mungo’s London or regional locations.

This role is ideal for someone with strong trust fundraising and people management experience, who can maintain momentum, and support the team to thrive during this fixed term period.

You will be a proactive trust fundraiser with proven experience of personally securing significant grants and managing long term funder relationships.

You’ll also bring proven success in leading and supporting a team, with a collaborative, encouraging style that helps people do their best work.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Halton Haven Hospice as one of our Fundraising Managers, leading our fundraising team to achieve ambitious targets through a diverse portfolio of income streams.

Job Summary
Oversee our helpdesk, which acts as the first point of contact for requests for support from our staff and volunteers. Lead business as usual IT operations and support so our people have the tools they need to carry out their work. Work with correspondents to solve problems, allocate team members to tasks, resolve issues, and constantly improve processes, standards and service quality.
Key Responsibilities

Helpdesk

• Manage the team that runs our helpdesk to ensure it functions as well as it can and make sure routine tasks are always taken care of
• Oversee first-line support and provide second-line support for inbound enquiries, troubleshooting and solving cases wherever possible
• Identify common or emerging issues and support with identifying root causes to continually improve the service
• Engage with colleagues to escalate more complex issues for further support, coordinate their resolution if appropriate, and manage stakeholders
• Support and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, deliver induction training for new starters, and assist with access management and offboarding

Team Leadership and development

The Talent Set are delighted to be working with Northamptonshire Health Charity to find their Senior Legacy & In-Memory Officer.

The charity offers a flexible working environment, with hybrid working 2-3 days per week from their offices. Northamptonshire Health Charity has 2 offices, one in Northampton adjacent to Northampton General Hospital, and one in Kettering on the Kettering General Hospital site.

As Senior Legacy & In-Memory Officer, you will help to shape a brand-new area of strategic growth for Northamptonshire Health Charity. This is a unique opportunity to support in building our legacy giving and in-memory fundraising programmes from the ground up. You’ll work alongside the Head of Fundraising to create meaningful pathways for supporters to leave a lasting impact, whether through gifts in Wills or by celebrating and honouring their loved ones.

You’ll help to implement campaigns, supporter journeys, and events like Make a Will Month, while nurturing relationships with donors, families, and NHS staff. You’ll also work on growing the use and income of our online tribute platform, MuchLoved.

Key Responsibilities:

· Contribute to the design and delivery of a compelling legacy fundraising programme, building a strong and sustainable legacy pipeline.

· Help to develop in-memory fundraising strategy and supporter journeys, with the aim of increasing income through tribute funds.

· Day-to-day management and promotion of their MuchLoved tribute platform, ensuring families receive exceptional support and the tool is well utilised.

· Collaborate closely with the fundraising and marketing teams to integrate legacy and in-memory giving across campaigns and communications.

· Provide thoughtful, compassionate stewardship to all legacy and in-memory supporters, recognising their generosity with care and respect.

Person Specification:

· Experience in fundraising or a sector relevant to the role (e.g., financial planning, legal services, bereavement support), with an understanding of legacy and in-memory giving and the ability to build trusted, empathetic relationships.

· Awareness of legacy fundraising principles, with a willingness to develop a legacy pipeline and supporter journey strategy with support and guidance.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, sensitive, and engaging content for supporters.

· Good interpersonal skills, with the confidence and empathy to connect with donors, families, and professional contacts in a respectful and compassionate way.

· Experience supporting or delivering fundraising activity, ideally including events, tribute funds, or in-memory giving, or a demonstrable interest in developing in this area.

· Well-organised and able to manage multiple priorities, with a proactive attitude and good attention to detail.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Head of People to deliver both strategic leadership and operational excellence across all people functions. 

Leading a team of 11, you will provide strategic business partnering and support across the organisation, ensuring the quality of experience and wellbeing of everyone that works at Parkinson’s UK, driving forward a culture of listening, and supporting our people to embrace and deliver change. 

What you’ll do:

• Lead, coach, mentor and develop the People team and People Partners to deliver the operational and strategic people requirements across the entire people portfolio

• Work in partnership and provide coaching, direction and support to Executive members (including the CEO) and leaders to enable them to deliver their teams plans and strategies

• Provide professional people advice, guidance and support with an up to date employment law input on a wide range of strategic and operational people issues. This will include leading on complex areas of change and providing guidance on employee relations cases

• Manage the people and establishment budgets and plans, setting the annual process ensuring effective financial control through the monitoring and review of the monthly management accounts.

• Work in partnership with the Associate Director of People & Culture in delivering the strategic agenda, People & Culture Strategy.

What you’ll bring:

• Proven experience working as a People lead that includes, strategic Business Partnering and organisational change and restructures 

• Demonstrable experience of managing complex employee relations issues including disciplinaries, grievances, appeals and performance management. This includes ETs and the interpretation of legislation for the purposes of internal policies and advice 

• Proven experience of coaching and leading teams of professionals 

• Experience of influencing and challenging executives within an organisational setting 

• Ability to resolve difficult situations and problems that are people focused with proven attributes and approaches to reach logical, fair and inclusive outcomes

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Project Lead to manage and collaborate with an external development/implementation partner and coordinate the smooth adoption of Salesforce within the Charity.  This critical role will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from planning and requirements gathering to execution, testing, training, and post-implementation support. You will be the central point of contact for all project stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration throughout the project.

 Main Responsibilities

• Work with the Director or Finance & Operations (DFO)  to invite tenders for and engage a development / implementation partner to support the adoption of this phase of Salesforce implementation
• Work with the development/implementation partner to develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Manage the execution of these plans, tracking progress, and ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Coordinate with the implementation partner to gather and document business requirements from relevant team members to translate these into technical specifications.
• Lead and motivate key stakeholders including the implementation partner and end-users. Foster a collaborative environment and ensure effective communication between team members.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their buy-in throughout the project.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks. Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges and ensure project success.
• Define and implement quality assurance processes to ensure the delivered Salesforce solution meets business requirements and is free of defects. Oversee testing activities and ensure proper documentation of test results.
• Develop and execute change management plans to ensure smooth user adoption of the new Salesforce solution. Provide training and support to end-users.
• Manage project budgets effectively, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, requirements documents, technical specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
• Providing updates against outcomes / budget to the Director of Development (Grants/Major Gifts) to enable rigorous, timely feedback to the project funder.

 Person specification 

• Proven experience (three years minimum) of leading digital transformation projects, with a strong focus on Salesforce implementations and customisations and a strong record of success.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities.
• Excellent project management skills, including budget and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.  
• Ability to manage, coordinate and get buy-in from technically inexperienced team members.
• Experience with data migration and integration is a plus.
• An understanding of safeguarding data, confidentiality, safe working practices and GDPR compliance.
• Knowledge of appropriate project management frameworks (agile, waterfall) to set project scope, meeting key milestones and budget constraints

Terms & Conditions

• This is a part-time (0.6 FTE), fixed term contract for one year, with a review to extend at the end of that term.
• This role is based in London.
• Salary: £45,000 per annum pro rata (0.6 FTE).
• Holiday: 25 days (including 3 faith days*) + 8 Public Holidays pro rata.
• A beautiful office based in the City of London. Hybrid working is available following induction period.
• 21-hour week: standard office hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch. Work outside these hours is required on occasions.
