The Team Manager (Bristol) plays a vital role in identifying local need and then coordinating and integrating services across a complex and fast-paced urban environment, ensuring young people have seamless access to the right support.

This role is key in driving collaboration between teams within OTR, embedding consistency in service delivery, and fostering partnerships with local organisations, schools, and statutory services. By providing strong leadership, operational oversight, and strategic direction, the Team Manager (Bristol) ensures that OTR’s presence in the city remains dynamic, accessible, and responsive to young people’s evolving needs.

The role reports to the Head of Youth Services and will be supported by an enthusiastic and passionate Senior Leadership Team. Residential Support Worker (Mental Health) - Charles Davies House 

Salary: £24,570 per annum 

Location: Hockley, Birmingham 

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full time working flexible shifts Monday to Sunday) 

Post holders must be able to work flexible shifts Monday to Sunday. There is also a requirement for the post holders to be available to work sleep-in duties (for which there is a separate allowance paid).

What you do
Main purpose of post
This is a senior and strategic role in our fundraising team. You will be
responsible for leading the development and delivery of our Individual Giving
strategy, ensuring sustainable growth in income from individual donors. You
will oversee the retention and stewardship of existing supporters and
implement creative, data-led campaigns to attract new donors across multiple
channels. You will line manage the Legacy and In Memory Manager, supporting
their growth and the success of these high-value income streams.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Development and Planning
 Lead the development and execution of a multi-year Individual Giving
strategy.
 Develop and deliver an annual work plan to achieve agreed income
targets.
 Use data insights and donor segmentation to shape compelling and

Campaign Management
 Plan, manage, and evaluate a portfolio of Individual Giving campaigns

Donor Retention and Stewardship

Legacy and In Memory Giving

 Support the development of a legacy marketing plan to grow our legacy
pipeline.
 Support development of relationships with legacy pledgers and inmemory
donors

Budgeting and Performance
 Manage income and expenditure budgets for Individual Giving.
 Track and analyse campaign performance against KPIs and ROI targets.
 Maximise all gift aid opportunities within the agreed audiences.
 Report regularly to the Head of Fundraising on performance,
opportunities, and risks.

Cross-Team Collaboration
 Work with Communications, Digital, and Data colleagues to ensure
campaigns are well-coordinated, data-driven, and creatively delivered.
 Champion best practice in data protection and ethical fundraising.
 Stay informed on sector trends, regulations, and innovations in individual
giving.
 Ensure that all activities and contacts are managed through the charity’s

Overview

The Olive Tree Cancer Support Group (the Olive Tree), is a registered Charity, dedicated to the relief of the physical and/or emotional distress of persons with cancer and their partners, families, friends and carers, through the provision of services, operating from its support centres in Crawley and Horsham.

A Centre Manager is being sought to manage all aspects of the Horsham centre, working closely with the Crawley Centre Manager and reporting to the Board of Trustees, delivering the charity’s goals and long-term strategy. How will I be working?

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented Operations Officer to play a central role in ensuring the smooth running of Animal Equality UK’s internal operations and supporter services.

This is a varied role covering administration, finance, data management, supporter care, and event coordination. You will be the first point of contact for many of our supporters and stakeholders, providing excellent service while supporting team members across all departments.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Culture and internal support: Act as a culture ambassador, upholding Animal Equality’s values of professionalism, resilience, accountability, and compassion. Strengthen communication between teams and ensure effective use of project management tools. Identify and lead process improvements with guidance from the Operations Manager.
• Supporter and donor care: Serve as the first point of contact for supporter queries via phone, email, post, and social media. Provide excellent donor support, including thanking donors, resolving payment issues, and sending mailings. Maintain supporter and volunteer records accurately in CRM systems and ensure compliance with GDPR.
• Finance and reporting: Process expenses, supplier payments, and support budget forecasting. Assist with Gift Aid claims, monthly data uploads, and finance reports. Prepare scheduled reports and presentations to track progress against objectives.
• Team processes: Support recruitment processes, including application handling, interview coordination, and onboarding/offboarding schedules. Ensure smooth induction for new staff and manage equipment, training resources, and access.
• Events and operations: Assist with the organisation of internal training, team meet-ups, and supporter events. Support health and safety measures for team members and volunteers at peaceful protests, undertaking risk assessments and first aid training. Manage stock and campaign materials, fulfil supporter requests, and oversee mailing logistics.
• Data and systems: Conduct database cleansing and maintain accurate supporter, volunteer, and executive records.
• Represent Animal Equality’s culture: Support Animal Equality’s life-saving work by producing high-quality output, embracing and representing the organisation’s culture principles proudly at all times, and supporting our philanthropic efforts.

is a 29-bed medium-low supported accommodation for young people between the ages of 16-25 that is staffed 24/7. We adopt a trauma informed and psychologically informed approach to supporting our residents to help them build essential life skills, identify their goals and work towards aspirations so that they can move on to enjoy fully independent futures. We have a dedicated team of Support Workers, Night Support Workers and additional Bank Workers who provide support, guidance, and signposting around areas such as housing, budgeting, living skills, jobs and relationship building. Situated in the centre of Worthing, the project has strong links with and contributes to the local community.

In delivering the role, you will report to the Supported Housing Manager and be responsible for:

Service Provision: Supporting the Supported Housing Manager with the daily operations of the services so that they meet the requirements of the service specification including compliance with the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) and Ofsted regulations. Oversee the residents’ referral, interview and induction processes for all beds and ensure the Occupancy Agreements and House Rules are fully understood. Ensure the quality of accommodation that is provided, liaising with the Housing and Property Services team to complete estate inspections and health and safety risk assessments, and to turn around voids and organise repairs in line with organisational targets and statutory obligations. With the Supported Housing Manager ensure effective income collection for all beds, working closely with the Rents team to create a rent payment culture.

Leadership and People Management: Directly line manage team members, ensuring their service delivery, working culture and personal development mirror best practice. Ensuring the team is adequately trained and empowered to work effectively and creatively with our young people to enable them to achieve their aspirations and ambitions, whilst ensuring they are supported within safe and consistent boundaries.

General: Be a member of the ‘on call’ rota to provide out of hours management support to projects in the wider locality. Reflect Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs), Trauma Informed approaches and restorative practices.
