The Helen Bamber Foundation, founded in 2005 by the pioneering human rights advocate Helen Bamber, was created to reflect the evolving global patterns of violence and persecution. Helen Bamber, who entered Bergen-Belsen Concentration Camp in 1945 as part of one of the first rehabilitation teams, recognised that all survivors of extreme violence—regardless of the perpetrator—require safety, legal protection, and medical and emotional support. Today it is a specialist clinical and human rights charity that works with people seeking asylum and refugees who are Survivors of trafficking, torture and other forms of extreme human cruelty.
In 2020, the Helen Bamber Foundation joined forces with Asylum Aid (established in 1990) to form the Group. Asylum Aid specialises in providing legal representation to vulnerable individuals seeking asylum, focusing on the most complex cases including survivors of trafficking, children, and stateless people. Having moved into our new Trauma Centre last year, we are now looking for our first Office Manager, to coordinate and ensure that our office space and facilities are maintained in a safe, clean, and secure environment. They will have overall ownership of the office with regards to the day to day running and ensuring health and safety compliance, and with the support of a Facilities and Operations Assistant, they will ensure our staff and clients are able to enjoy a safe and comfortable environment.

About this role
At SPANA, we support a network of global partners working through both a short- term small grants and long- term programmes – known as our Senior Partners. Senior Partners represent key strategic investments in our mission to enhance working animal welfare. These programmes are established country offices, each led by dedicated Country Directors who oversee the implementation of our work. Purpose of the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a clinical lead working within our Mental Health Support Teams and wider Children and Young People’s Services. As an integral part of our services, you will ensure the high-quality delivery of mental health interventions for children and young people. You will provide clinical supervision and support to a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practice and national guidelines. This role involves overseeing the delivery of low-intensity and early intervention mental health support within schools and the community for children and young people between the ages of 5-18 (for young people with SEND under 25). Job Summary
The role includes:
- Providing case management and clinical supervision (1:1 and group) and some line management
- Supporting the team to write sensitive and appropriate reports concerning the assessment, formulation and treatment plans of children and young people
- Carrying out clinical case file audits to ensure high quality practice and to support practitioners and trainees
- Ensuring that practitioners and trainees work within their scope of practice and adhere to professional standards
- Ensuring adherence to evidence-based practice in accordance with national guidance and national and local policies (including NHS and educational frameworks)
- Escalating referrals where the level of need is beyond the scope of the service
- Contributing to the ongoing evaluation and improvement of the MHST model

Support Coordinator
We’re looking for an innovative, passionate, and professional individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to join the Stroke Recovery Service based in Lincolnshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to provide stroke recovery support following a stroke.
There are two positions available:
1 x 28 hours per week – This is a fixed term contract until 31 March 2026

Location: Home-based Lincolnshire, however, frequent travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings)
Salary: Salary circa £21,948 per annum for 28 hours per week and £16,461 per annum for 21 hours per week (FTE circa £27,435 per annum)

The Role

The post holder will be working with socially isolated individuals to identify meaningfully enriching opportunities to reduce feelings of loneliness, some of whom may have complex and challenging welfare needs, to develop actions plans and coordinate support to overcome any barriers preventing successful connection into these enriching opportunities, assisting them by identifying appropriate support from within the RAF Benevolent Fund and the wider statutory and military charity sector.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a social welfare role supporting individuals, have strong people and relationship-building skills, as well as empathy with or understanding of the issues affecting the Armed Forces community. Individuals with a social prescribing or working aged veteran support background are encouraged to apply.
This is a community-based position working from home but covering South and Central Scotland, delivering both remote and face to face support. The successful candidate will join our busy Governance team, reporting to the Head of Governance and working closely within a core team of two officers and two senior officers.
As a Senior Governance Officer, you will provide high quality governance support to the senior executive, Board and Committees as well as other stakeholders across the Fund engaging pro-actively with other teams and stakeholders across the Fund. Job Title: Deputy Service Manager
Location: In Service based in Croydon, CR0 1EB. You will be required to work across multiple services within the area.

About the role
We are looking for a Deputy Service Manager to join our team based in Croydon, providing leadership and line management to a team of night staff which is around 10 people in total. You will provide support and supervision sessions at night, and general leadership to the team so they feel empowered to be productive and perform well within their roles. You will further ensure a quality service is delivered in line with our contractual requirements to the residents. You will be responsible for creating a psychologically informed environment (PIE) with person centred support during all hours. You will work closely with the day teams to ensure a smooth handover from the day to night.
This service is a Forensic Mental Health provision for 27 people across 4 sites in Croydon. For your own personal safety, you will require to have access to your own transport as you will need to travel between our 4 sites during the night shift to provide managerial support to the teams. The teams support our residents with person centred support, to empower them to overcome their personal barriers with their mental health, to have greater independence and fulfilled living. The service is responsible for holding various activities, group sessions, and one to one support to enable residents to build their personal skills and experiences to achieve their goals.
The role includes:
- Line Management and Leadership, supporting your team providing advice, guidance and support throughout their employment lifecycle
- Support the Service Manager in leading the day to day operational delivery of the service
- Risk Management ownership, ensuring processes and policies are followed
