The Shakespeare Hospice is looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Fundraising Assistant to join our Income Generation team and play a central role in supporting the Hospice’s fundraising activity.

This role is the first point of contact for many of our supporters, helping to ensure every interaction with the Hospice is positive, responsive and meaningful. You will act as a key coordination point across the fundraising team, supporting campaigns, community fundraising, events and supporter communications.

Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will help to ensure that fundraising activity runs smoothly and that opportunities to engage and thank supporters are maximised.  This role is pivotal in ensuring that supporters feel valued and connected to the Hospice, helping to turn initial engagement into long-term relationships.

You will be someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in providing excellent supporter care.  You will have strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple activities while maintaining attention to detail.

Experience in fundraising, events, customer engagement or supporter care would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.

Every interaction you manage will help ensure supporters feel connected to the Hospice and inspired to continue supporting the care we provide to families across South Warwickshire.

Support and Information Officer

Hours: 28 hours per week, to be worked flexibly over 4 days with some evening and weekend working as required.

Salary: £18,940 to £19,280 per annum (£23,675 to £24,100 per annum full time equivalent)

Location: Big C’s Norwich support centres. Work from other Big C premises and public events will be required.

We have an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and proactive individual to join Big C as a Health Academy Support and Information Officer. This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll support the delivery of activities and services that make a real difference to people affected by cancer across our community.

About the role
As part of our small Health Academy team, you’ll work closely with the Health Academy Lead, Nutritionist and Physical Wellbeing Facilitators to deliver a range of wellbeing activities and events. From supporting programmes like Get Moving, Walking Football and Fishing for Wellbeing to attending community events, your work will help promote healthier lifestyles, encourage behaviour change, and raise awareness of cancer prevention and early detection.

You’ll also be a welcoming and supportive point of contact for our service users, offering practical support, listening, and guidance, while helping to ensure services are delivered safely, effectively, and in line with best practice. Alongside this, you’ll support the smooth running of the team through administration, data collection, and collaboration with colleagues, volunteers, and external partners.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of Health Academy activities, wellbeing programmes, and external events
• Provide a warm, supportive point of contact for service users, offering information, guidance, and signposting to appropriate services
• Assist in assessing and responding to service user needs, working within agreed policies and under appropriate supervision

Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment. 

We are now recruiting IPS Employment Advisors to join our IPS service to join our Kingston & Sutton team. You do not need previous employment support experience. What matters most is that you bring: 

• A genuine desire to support people with mental health support needs and/or learning disabilities to achieve their employment goals. 

• Motivation to help people from all backgrounds move into meaningful work.

• Strong organisation skills, with the ability to multitask and manage your workload.

About Under One Sky & The Lighthouse

Under One Sky works alongside people experiencing homelessness to provide practical support, human connection, and pathways toward greater stability. 

Lighthouse creates the conditions for people who have experienced homelessness to move beyond survival and begin rebuilding their lives. Over twelve weeks, small cohorts come together in a consistent, supportive space where confidence grows, relationships are rebuilt, and people reconnect with their sense of direction and possibility.

Through outreach, partnership working, and volunteer-led programmes, we aim to create spaces where people are treated with dignity, trust, and consistency.

The role

The Programme Manager leads the operational delivery of Lighthouse, ensuring the programme runs safely, reliably, and to a consistently high standard across the programme week. This role sits at the centre of the work - creating the conditions that allow Lighthouse to function with both structure and humanity.

Lighthouse operates in a dynamic environment where participant needs, operational demands, and volunteer teams intersect daily. You will bring clarity and calm to that complexity, maintaining strong systems and organisation while responding thoughtfully and decisively to what emerges in real time.

You will take ownership of the systems, planning, and operational coordination that underpin delivery. This includes overseeing key sessions, ensuring volunteers are well supported, and maintaining a physical space that is safe, welcoming, and well run. Your role is to make sure Lighthouse works - consistently, reliably, and with care.

You will also play a central role in shaping how Lighthouse develops over time. By observing how delivery works in practice, you will identify what can be strengthened and translate this into practical improvements. This requires sound judgement, attention to detail, and a commitment to doing things well.

You will work closely with the Engagement Manager to ensure Lighthouse remains both operationally strong and deeply responsive to the people it serves.

Working pattern

Lighthouse operates primarily between 8:00am and 8:00pm, with occasional evening events. Programme delivery is supported by a team of volunteers.

The two Managers coordinate their working schedules to ensure presence during key delivery periods across the programme week.

Working patterns are flexible and planned collaboratively to support delivery while maintaining sustainable workloads.

Lighthouse Management Structure

Lighthouse is delivered through a shared model, with two Managers working together to ensure the programme remains a safe, consistent, and dignified space for people experiencing homelessness.

Delivering this well requires both strong programme organisation and careful, trauma-informed engagement with participants.

The two Managers hold complementary responsibilities that ensure Lighthouse is both well-run and deeply responsive to the people it serves. While each role leads on specific areas of the programme, they work closely together to maintain consistent standards, clear communication, and a reliable experience for participants.

What is the main purpose of their role?

The Operations Manager sits within a team of six managers who are responsible for providing the strategic lead for all the activities of Suffolk Refugee Support. This is a senior operational role with responsibility for overseeing key programme areas including HR and facilities, volunteering, our ESOL provision and our International Women’s Group. The role will also oversee the development of SRS’s Client Partnership work, ensuring this is shaped through co-production with the clients we work with, supports strong external relationships, and is delivered through an effective, outcome-focused work plan. Working closely with staff, trustees, partners and clients, the postholder will contribute to the effective management and ongoing development of the organisation.

The role line manages a team of Officers and Coordinators responsible for specific programme areas, ensuring that the activities within their remit are effective, compliant and responsive, meeting both the charitable aims of SRS and the needs of the asylum seekers and refugees we support.

What will the job entail?

Among other responsibilties, you’ll be overseeing the function of the organisation and its strategic development by using knowledge of needs of clients, gaps in existing services and opportunities as they arise, working with the Management Team to agree funds required for services to be run and delivered, liaising with Trustees, developing and managing client focused activities, developing and managing operational areas of work and providing strategic and operational oversight to our Client Partnership work.

What you will need

• At least two years’ staff and project management experience in community, voluntary sector or social care settings; or other proven relevant management experience
• Experience of managing staff including delivery planning, performance monitoring, practising HR & disciplinary processes, and motivating positive work environments
• Experience of developing, managing and evaluating programmes to meet identified needs using imaginative ideas and making efficient use of restricted resources
• Experience of using/developing assessment tools to monitor service outputs and outcomes
• Knowledge of laws and policies applicable to Human Resources management
• Knowledge of safeguarding, data protection and equality good practice
• Strategic planning skills with the ability to work in conjunction with the Charity Manager and management team to agree plans of work for the whole organisation to maximise impact for clients
• Proficient in using all MS office applications and CRM or data management system, (experience with Charitylog or similar database platforms preferred)
• Conscientious, calm, and well-organised with the ability to keep the balance between short & long-term tasks/goals

About the Role:

Prostate Cancer Research – Individual Giving Manager

Prostate Cancer Research is seeking a driven Individual Giving Manager to play a pivotal role in building and delivering a high-performing fundraising programme at a time of significant growth.

Prostate cancer is now the most common cancer in the UK. At Prostate Cancer Research (PCR), the focus is on accelerating better outcomes for patients, from funding pioneering research to shaping national screening policy. Individual Giving is central to this mission. With a rapidly expanding supporter base and increasing investment in growth, PCR is looking for someone who can help take this programme to the next level.

Working closely with the Head of Individual Giving and Legacies, this role will act as the operational lead for Individual Giving activity, translating strategic direction into effective, insight-led campaigns. The post-holder will take ownership of campaign planning and delivery across multiple channels, driving both acquisition and retention, ensuring activity is optimised for impact and return on investment.

​​​​​​​This role will lead the implementation of integrated campaigns across digital and offline channels, including social media, search, email, direct mail and telemarketing. It will also involve managing agency relationships and analysing performance data while continuously testing and refining approaches to maximise results. Alongside this, the Individual Giving Manager will play a key role in developing supporter journeys, creating compelling content and strengthening long-term supporter engagement.

They will be confident managing agencies, working with digital platforms such as Meta and Google Ads and using data to inform decision-making. As Research Communications Manager, you will set the direction for research communications, developing new ways to creatively showcase the breadth and impact of the research we fund to inform and engage diverse audiences.

You will lead how research is communicated beyond the Motor Neurone Disease Association, using owned and earned platforms, ensuring it is accurate, accessible and relevant. As Research Communications Manager, you will identify opportunities and develop new ways to strengthen understanding of MND research among stakeholders and the public. This is a new role which will rely on collaboration and building strong relationships particularly with research, communications and digital engagement colleagues.

Your work as Research Communications Manager will help people understand motor neurone disease research updates and initiatives, deepening engagement across communities and supporters.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of external research communications across owned and earned channels
• Develop research messages, content and use of channels based on audience needs
• Champion the involvement of people affected by MND in how we communicate about research
• Create engaging content that highlights the impact of MND research funded by the MND Association and others
• Work with press and research colleagues on media enquiries and proactive coverage
• Build strong partnerships with the Research and Innovation Directorate
• Develop clear processes to support consistent, high quality and inspiring research content
• Support media training and briefing of research spokespeople
• Line manage a Communications Officer (Research) and support ongoing development

About You

• Experience translating complex scientific or research information for non-specialist audiences
• Professional writing or journalism with understanding of media and public relations processes
• Degree-level knowledge or equivalent experience in a scientific field
• Experience managing a Communications function and delivering research communications, ideally within a health charity or similar setting
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and relationship building experience across internal and external teams

About the Role 

The role sits within the Communications, Engagement and Fundraising (CEF) directorate and reports to its director. The team serves the needs of the organisation by engaging a range of key audiences through various media channels, volunteer engagement, events and fundraising. The post holder will work in close collaboration with others across the organisation and will enjoy working in an innovative and creative environment.

This will include leading on all USPG fundraising streams including fundraising appeals, regular giving, legacy fundraising, major donors, church engagement, diocesan appeals, trust and foundations, grants and partnerships and any new fundraising products.

You will line manage the Individual Giving Manager and Fundraising Stewardship Manager, supporting their professional development to help achieve annual fundraising targets and objectives.

You will be responsible for delivering fundraising appeals, products and campaigns, ensuring that supporters go on a meaningful and experiential journey with USPG and become lifelong supporters. You are, therefore, a confident, passionate, organised and creative senior manager with the proven ability to motivate and inspire your team and USPG supporters.

You will bring energy and passion to this role and have the responsibility for delivering on time fundraising activity across the organisation. Your experience will bring our vital work to life in inspiring ways that increase engagement and individual giving, while ensuring that retention and acquisition strategies are in place, regularly reviewed, and continuously strengthened to grow the USPG supporter base. You will bring a freshness of ideas, whilst maintaining operational efficiency, quarterly reporting and inspirational leadership.
