Job description

We are looking for a part-time Trust & Foundations Officer to be part of our team of dedicated staff at The Gingerbread Centre. The ideal candidate will be able to generate income from charitable trusts and foundations, meeting financial targets through building a pipeline of prospects and preparing, writing, and submitting fundraising applications.

Overview
This is an essential role that requires a variety of skills and the ability to work to deadlines. The ability to multi-task is a must, with the capacity to work in a busy environment, developing the charity’s relations with Trust and Foundation representatives. To also develop and implement strategies for short, medium or long term growth of the trusts and foundations income stream.

You will need:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • An understanding of project budgets
  • Experience of research and applying for statutory funding
  • A level English
  • excellent attention to detail
  • the ability to identify and prioritise tasks
  • excellent communication skills
