Primary location of role and hybrid working
This role is primarily based in our Cardiff/Glasgow/London/Sheffield office. However, our hybrid working model allows full-time staff members to work up to 3 days per week at home.

The British Asian Trust is one of the most exciting and innovative charities working in South Asia. An estimated 172 million children in India are considered ‘at-risk’ from various forms of harm and exploitation. Children are made vulnerable by a complex network of interconnecting factors such as high levels of poverty, gender inequality, unsafe migration, cultural norms and poor implementation of schemes and laws. The Child Opportunity Fund’s goal is to create more safe spaces to ensure that millions of children can live their lives to the fullest potential. To achieve this, they are aiming to raise $25m which will be matched by the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, totalling a $50m fund.
We are looking for an exceptional philanthropic fundraising leader, with experience of leading an appeal and first-hand programme management skills, to undertake a one year maternity cover as the Interim Head of Child Opportunity Appeal. The postholder will be responsible for overseeing the appeal, working collaboratively with the team to reach their significant fundraising targets across HNWIs, trusts, institutional funders and corporate partners.

About the role
As Interim Head of Child Opportunity Appeal, you will:
- accelerate and coordinate fundraising for the Child Opportunity Appeal across a diversified range of high value income streams in the UK, India, Dubai and globally;
- drive and implement the fundraising strategy, ensuring KPIs are monitored and met;
- coordinate internal working groups as well as external senior volunteers to ensure a consistent and aligned approach to fundraising and new donor engagement;
- produce effective prospect research and robust donor pipelines to secure major donations at the 6 and 7-figure level from HNWIs, corporates, trusts, foundations and institutional funders;
- ensure all donors and partners receive first-class stewardship and relationship management, working closely with in-country, programmes and communications colleagues to produce compelling proposals, reports and updates;
- support the CEO to manage the partnership with the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation;
- develop and deliver strong engagement opportunities and leverage cultivation event and project visit opportunities;
- contribute to financial planning and reporting, and develop processes and systems for effective fundraising and stewardship.
About you
Ideal skills and experience:
- Demonstrable experience of operating in a senior philanthropic leadership role with a strategic mindset and high levels of ambition
- Exceptional project/programme management skills
- Experience of running a significant philanthropic appeal/campaign, or playing a senior role in the delivery of a large project in a complex organisation
- Experience of implementing a fundraising strategy and successfully meeting KPIs and targets
- Strong track record in securing high value gifts from warm and cold donors and partners, including demonstrable ability to independently manage the fundraising process from research/identification to closing the ask

About IKWRO
IKWRO –Women’s Rights Organisation (IKWRO) is an award-winning charity founded (as the Iranian and Kurdish Women’s Rights Organisation) in 2002. IKWRO is a registered charity which provides advice and support to Middle Eastern, North African and Afghan women and girls living in the UK, who have experienced, or are at risk of all forms of “honour” based abuse, including; forced marriage, child marriage and female genital mutilation (FGM), or domestic abuse.
We work with women and girls of all ages, including lesbian women, bisexual women and trans women. We offer services in Kurdish, Farsi, Arabic, Dari, Pashto, Turkish and English. IKWRO offers free advice, advocacy and counselling services and operates a refuge which provides safe accommodation and specialist support to single women at risk of “honour” based abuse, forced marriage and domestic abuse.

As National Support Coordinator you will provide support to our members living with a rare neuromuscular condition, myasthenia, their families, and carers. You will work alongside three additional National Support Coordinators and a Benefits and Welfare Officer, ensuring our members receive the support they need, via telephone, zoom meetings and email.
We are looking for someone that is willing to work a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. There may be the need to occasionally work during weekends and evenings and therefore there is a need to work flexibly when required. All evening and weekend work is agreed in advance.

We are working hard to raise awareness, as it is a little-unknown condition. We provide support for people with myasthenia and their families, whilst offering advice and tips for living with the illness.

We are looking for a motivated, creative, and organised Engagement and Communications Officer to join our team. This role is a unique opportunity for someone with a passion for building a fairer legal system through impactful events, engaging member outreach, and powerful communications. Working alongside the Director of Development and the Head of Communications, this role will work across teams to maintain and strengthen engagement through events, communications and corporate outreach. You will play an integral role in communicating our work as widely as possible and improving and increasing engagement with our supporters, including our members, donors and corporate partners.
The Engagement and Communications Officer will work to maximise income and support for JUSTICE through events (approximately 45% of the role), communications (approximately 30% of the role) and membership (approximately 25% of the role). Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working closely with the Chief Executive, the post-holder will lead on all aspects of development, marketing and fundraising, and people/HR development; maintaining high level relationships with donors and prospective donors and maximising opportunities to secure new sources of income from individuals, companies and charitable trusts, as well as improving our internal comms.
We are looking for someone who has experience working in collaborative environments to meet organisational goals and build and manage relationships. As the Business Development Manager, you’ll be part of the Senior Leadership Team. About You
We are seeking a driven and determined candidate with proven experience in fundraising or business development ideally gained from the voluntary sector. Our ideal candidate has an enthusiastic attitude as well as experience in developing and growing services. You will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to enable you to build authentic relationships with members, donors, partners and commissioners. You will also need experience in leading change within an organisation, supporting our team on our journey of growth and sustainability.
You will need to be approachable, organised and have excellent communication skills with good IT skills to be able to excel in fundraising.

Duties Include:
Fundraising and project development:
· Lead the implementation of Bexley Mencap’s Fundraising Strategy; reviewing existing fundraising strategies, identifying opportunities for development and introducing innovative strategies to achieve fundraising goals.
· Research and pursue new funding opportunities; including grants, legacies and social enterprise/earned income opportunities.
· Develop compelling cases for support, tailoring funding bids and applications accordingly
· Develop and maintain funding pipelines, providing reports to the Trustee Board
· Support and line manage part-time member of the team (may be required to support more staff if the role grows/adapts)
· Support the Chief Executive in extending and strengthening relationships with existing partners and developing new relationships
· Ensure all fundraising initiatives adhere to best practices, ethical guidelines and legislation
· Identify and evaluate opportunities for new projects and initiatives aligned with the mission and objectives of the organisation.
· Lead the development of project proposals, including conducting needs assessments, defining project scopes, and establishing timelines and budgets.
· Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful project implementation and delivery.
Organisational Change and Growth:
· Work closely with the senior leadership team to identify areas for organisational growth and improvement.
· Champion initiatives aimed at enhancing organisational capacity, efficiency, and sustainability.
· Support change management processes to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
· Coach, motivate and guide staff and volunteers

· To be familiar with and work within the organisation and the service’s values policies and procedures, maintaining records and reports accordingly.

Fundraising Development Manager
Fixed-Term, (Maternity Cover) Part-Time, Term-Time only

We are seeking a knowledgeable individual to oversee the Fundraising Development Manager position for a fixed-term, covering maternity leave. We are now looking for a Member Engagement Officer to assist a lively and talented team with all areas of Remember a Charity’s membership administration, in addition to supporting the marketing and partnerships workstreams.
This is a unique opportunity not only to help grow charitable giving, but to also work closely with those member charities (close to 200) who rely on gifts in Wills to continue their vital work.
Key Accountabilities
· To maintain and update records on Remember A Charity’s CRM database and E-Comms mailing lists for charities, legal supporters and partner organisations. To run CRM reports as required.
· To assist with the onboarding of new joiner charities and legal sector supporters.
· To use the website content management system (CMS) to build member charity and legal sector supporter online profiles; and to make any amends to these profiles and other website pages as required.
· To manage the central In-Box and respond to all enquiries or signpost to the relevant team member.
· To co-ordinate the programme of rolling annual membership renewal and new-joiner invoicing, including credit control of all invoices.
· To prepare monthly engagement report collating key activity metrics for members and legal sector supporters
· To assist with online and in person member, prospect and legal sector supporter events, including creating registration links, managing attendee information on the CRM and other events preparation and follow-up required.
· Representing Remember A Charity at key charity and legal sector exhibitions when required.
· To capture minutes from all key meetings.
· Diary management when required.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans, the UK’s leading sustainable transport charity. We are looking for a highly organised individual to provide co-ordination and administrative support for Sustrans-wide business development systems, activities.
As the Business Development Officer, you will support colleagues across the organisation bidding for tenders and grant funding, by helping to guide bid submissions through a series of steps, from initial assessment to submission to funder decision.
In this role you will support Project Officers and Senior Managers with all aspects of bid preparation including checking for compliance, proof reading and formatting.
This role requires you to be proactive in researching new potential funding sources and monitoring grant and tender alerts; and you will be expected to manage and further develop a suite of bidding resources.
You will work from a Sustrans office, preferably in Bristol, with the flexibility to work from home, or home-based within reasonable travelling distance from Bristol.
About you
Experienced in providing administrative support and coordinating work in a busy environment, you will be able to communicate and build relationships easily, enabling you to engage with multiple teams and work effectively with colleagues across the organisation.
You will be highly organised, comfortable multi-tasking and working to deadlines, with excellent attention to detail. You’ll use your excellent planning skills to help anticipate and manage potential issues before they arise.
You will have experience of using business development management, client/customer relationship management or contact systems. Ideally you will be familiar with tender procurement portals, grant funding websites and funding sources.
