At Ambitious about Autism we're currently looking for a Data and Insights Officer to join our National Services team.

You'll focus on the collection, analysis and reporting of data from National Services programmes, projects and services. You'll use systems and tools to effectively capture and store data and information, enabling effective reporting and insight. You'll provide advice and support to the Product Development Manager and Deputy Director of National Services.

You'll support National Services teams with the development of KPI and data collection  routes and support with maintenance, troubleshooting and creative problem solving to ensure accuracy and efficiency. You'll create detailed reports and dashboards for use by teams, managers and leaders at agreed time points.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience of using statistical tools and techniques to manage and analyse data
• Ability to translate the essence of complex data into language or formats others will understand
• Experience of producing qualitative and quantitative reports and analysing results to produce impact reporting
• Ability to present insights and results through written reports, dashboards and presenting face-to-face

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering our Individual Giving programme, ensuring sustainable growth in income from individual donors. You will focus on identifying opportunities to engage supporters, implementing activities to cultivate, solicit and steward donors, and increasing financial contributions from both new and existing supporters. You will also work closely with colleagues across Income Generation, Communications, Programmes, and senior leadership to maximise donor opportunities and engagement.

Role Purpose

To develop and deliver an Earthwatch individual giving programme. The role will focus on identifying opportunities to engage supporters, implementing activities to cultivate, solicit, and steward donors, and increasing financial contributions from new and existing supporters. The role will also assist in the delivery of major donor cultivation events alongside senior staff.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Income Growth

• Develop and implement a multi-year individual giving strategy, including regular giving, one-off donations and legacy giving
• Set and monitor income and engagement targets, using data insights to refine and improve approaches.

Campaigns & Appeals

• To project manage multiple appeals delivering accurate campaigns across digital, print, and telephone on time, to inspire and convert supporters, on budget to a high standard and meeting agreed targets.
• To manage the relationship with external fundraising agencies, ensuring they are briefed and provided with the information they need.
• Collaborate with the communications team to ensure campaigns align with brand and messaging guidelines.
• Undertaking all activities in line with best practice standards and processes as set out by the Institute of Fundraising, Fundraising Regulator and any other bodies as prompted by the Director.

Donor Engagement & Stewardship

• Deliver high-quality donor communications, including impact reports, appeals, and tailored updates.
• Support donor journeys that build loyalty and increase lifetime value through a range of fundraising products
• Attend events as required to meet donors.

Data Management & Reporting

• Ensure all materials produced are accurate and compliant with relevant data protection and gift aid legislation (where applicable).
• Use the database to track donor engagement and manage contact strategies.
• Produce reports and analysis on giving trends, campaign performance, and donor behaviour to inform decision-making.

Collaboration & Team Support

• Work closely with colleagues across Income Generation, Communications, Programmes, and senior leadership to maximise donor opportunities and engagement.

Person Specification

Essential

Knowledge & Experience

• Proven track record in individual giving, donor development, or relationship fundraising.
• Experience of developing supportive journeys, managing direct mail and calling campaigns. 
• Understanding of UK fundraising regulations and best practice
• Experience in managing and meeting deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously.

Skills & aptitudes

• Excellent numeracy skills and proven ability to develop budgets, monitor accounts and calculate ROI. 
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to write compelling fundraising copy.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in donor data management and CRM systems.

About the role

As a supporter journeys executive, you'll support with the design and delivery of impactful and engaging experiences for our supporters, ensuring they feel valued, inspired, and connected to our cause. You'll use insight and data to develop and improve journeys which help to grow lifetime value and supporter loyalty. You’ll be a key member of the team in helping to promote supporter experience across the charity and championing best practice across all departments.

About you

We’re looking for a team player with previous experience of working in a supporter or customer service setting. Together with the supporter journeys manager you’ll manage supporter journey projects, often multiple at the same time. To do so, it’s essential to have an understanding of good project management. Using all the data and insight available to you, you also be able to evaluate the performance of campaigns, products, tasks and activities we work on.

As you work with teams across the charity, you’ll need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, as well as a collaborative approach to help nurture relationships with different teams. Any experience you have of using a database and any email marketing platforms is desirable; alongside any knowledge you have of current data protection and compliance regulations.

While we expect some level of knowledge about supporter engagement, it is equally important that you show a willingness to learn and develop your skillset, whether it be new digital solutions or how we use data and insight to evaluate performance.

What the job involves

We’re looking for a Senior Supporter Journeys Executive to help us shape how our supporters experience our charity. Working at the heart of the Individual Giving team, you’ll design and deliver engaging, insight-led journeys that build loyalty, reduce attrition, and encourage long-term support.

This is an exciting time for the charity as we're delivering a new 3-year fundraising strategy with a particular focus on loyalty. In this newly created role, you'll play a key part in making sure every touchpoint, from the first welcome to ongoing engagement, feels personal, timely, and meaningful.

You'll be responsible for developing and improving multi-channel journeys for both new and existing supporters, coordinating the creation of journeys from various channels to help increase conversion. You’ll also support the design and rollout of journeys for key segments, including legacy enquirers and tribute fund donors.

Working with our data and insight colleagues, you’ll monitor journey performance using key metrics like retention and lifetime value. You'll use our CRM and Email Service Provider to identify opportunities, track activity, and coordinate testing of messaging and value propositions to maximise engagement.

As a key collaborator, you’ll work with colleagues across the organisation and with external agencies to ensure our supporter journeys are joined up and focused on the individual.  

What we want from you

This role is a great fit for someone with experience in Individual Giving, donor stewardship, or similar supporter experience roles. You'll have a strong understanding of what drives loyalty and retention, and a clear grasp of donor lifetime value.

Your project coordination skills will be essential as you manage multiple priorities across teams, ensuring clear communication and efficient delivery. We need someone who’s comfortable working with data and insight to inform decisions, using CRMs (ideally Raiser’s Edge) and email platforms like Adestra to improve supporter journeys and campaign performance. You'll also have a good working knowledge of direct marketing concepts and multi-channel delivery, including mail, email, and digital.

We're looking for an independent thinker who can not only manage projects but also proactively identify and develop new opportunities from their own observations. With your collaborative mindset, you'll be able to work effectively across teams and adapt to changing priorities, always focused on delivering an exceptional supporter experience that's insight-led and truly impactful.

Supporting over 750 children and nearly 1,000 families annually, Acorns Children’s Hospice is a vital lifeline for families across the West Midlands and Gloucestershire during unimaginably difficult times.

Palliative care for children aged 0–18 is delivered at Acorns’ hospices in Birmingham, Worcester, and Walsall, as well as in family homes and other community settings. Acorns’ holistic, tailored approach is designed to meet each child’s clinical, emotional, cultural, religious, and spiritual needs.

Corporate fundraising at Acorns is on an exciting growth journey, with ambitions to increase income from £800K to £1M in the next two years. This role offers a warm and well-developed patch, a supportive team culture, and space to be creative in how you grow and uplift corporate partnerships. You’ll be the lead relationship manager for a portfolio of established partners across Birmingham and the Black Country, focusing on stewardship, renewals, and smart uplifts.

While the focus is primarily account management (around 75%), you’ll also contribute to new business through activities like COTY pitches. You’ll work closely with the Business Development Manager and be line-managed by a detail-oriented and flexible leader who fosters autonomy, progression, and innovation. As Corporate Fundraising Manager, you will:

• Lead the stewardship and growth of existing corporate partnerships, using creative and strategic methods to increase value and longevity

• Collaborate with the Business Development Manager on new business opportunities
• Take an active role in planning and delivering key corporate events, such as golf days and black-tie dinners

Ideal skills and experience:

• Strong corporate fundraising or account management background, ideally with experience managing partnerships in the £30K–£50K+ range

• Strategic thinker with a flair for finding growth opportunities within existing partnerships
• Comfortable pitching and presenting to corporate audiences at all levels

The Role:

As Wellbeing Support Manager (known internally as Wellbeing Lead), you will take full ownership of Cavell's Wellbeing Conversations service, manage your own diary and deliver high-quality support to nursing and midwifery professionals.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the day-to-day delivery of the Wellbeing Conversations service
• Conducting triage calls and virtual sessions, offering reflective listening and signposting support
• Identifying trends and themes to inform service development and influence Cavell's broader support offer
• Maintaining accurate records in line with data protection legislation
• Producing evaluation reports and sharing insights with stakeholders
• Building strong relationships with referral partners and the funder

This is a dynamic role with variety built in. One day you may be supporting an individual struggling with self-doubt, and the next you could be presenting to partners, contributing to service development, or preparing impact data for the communications team.

About You:

We are looking for a compassionate, proactive professional with:

• A valid coaching qualification
• Experience supporting individuals experiencing stress, overwhelm, or challenging life circumstances
• An understanding of the pressures facing nursing and midwifery professionals
• Knowledge of national mental health support services
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload independently
• A commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion

Desirable (but not essential) experience includes:

• Working as a nursing or midwifery professional
• Supporting survivors of domestic abuse
• Mental Health First Aid or similar qualification
• Experience using CRM systems and creating evaluation reports
