Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

Member Engagement

• Design and implement a community engagement strategy, this is to nurture positive relationships
  and information flow with different groups including Members, Tenants, Start-Ups, Community
  Groups and Community Organisations.
• In partnership with the Events Manager, activate an events programme, which creates
  opportunities for Member Organisations and other community groups and stakeholders to
  contribute to the Trust’s broader activities and development plans, taking account of member
  feedback and Trust strategy as appropriate. This will require evening and weekend working

Key Stakeholder Engagement

• Lead on the instigation, scheduling and management of the Trust’s relationship with Community
  Forums and the relevant convenors. This may involve attending meetings, organising events,
  advising on operations and governance. This will involve active listening and offering feedback
  and advice to colleagues.
• Be responsible for effective stakeholder management and mapping, to include local residents,
  local businesses and local voluntary sector groups to ensure maximum reach.
• Attend community meetings on behalf of Westway Trust to listen and engage in conversations
  about local issues and update them on the Trust’s activities. These meetings are primarily in the
  evening.

Institutional Racism Report

• Playing a key role with stakeholder groups on dissemination on the Tutu Foundation Report and
  the progress as the Trust moves towards eliminating ‘institutional racism’.
• Lead on some of the areas of development by agreement with your line manager and other
  colleagues.

Bay 20

• Support the BAY 20 community operator to ensure that BAY 20 is an inclusive and accessible
  space for the whole community and manage their service level agreement and associated budget.
• Deliver the secretarial function to the Bay20 community steering group.

Grants & Community Investments

• Support the grants and impact manager in engagement with applicants of Westway Trust’s grants
  programmes, nurturing positive relationships with successful and unsuccessful applicants.

General Duties

• Support the development of new, refurbished, and existing spaces with innovative community
  development projects and events. These may include Public Policy Round Tables; new
  programmes; community led events, consultations and meetings.
• You are a key outward facing member of the Trust, expected to demonstrate the Trusts Values
  and to work positively in accordance with the Trust’s Equal Opportunities, Safeguarding, Health,
  and Safety Policies.
• In time you may be required to line manage at least one member of staff.
• Carry out any other duties as may be reasonably required

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Experience of designing and delivering high quality, proactive and impactful community
  engagement activities, with a track record of creating innovative solutions to engage with
  people, particularly seldom heard community groups
• Clear evidence of sound judgement and of an ability to evaluate options to make appropriate
  recommendations
• Excellent IT skills, ability to gather information and report meaningful outputs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ideally with experience of writing
  Board/Committee papers with the ability to present persuasive arguments to senior
  stakeholders in a formal setting
• At least one year experience of line management.
• Experience in prioritising competing demands and workloads

Renewed Hope is currently seeking two experienced support and recovery workers to support our guests. One post is full time (37.5 hours p.w.£27,518 p.a.) and the other part time (19 hrs p.w. - pay pro rata of full time salary)

Renewed Hope offers support to rough sleepers and homeless people in crisis, and housed people suffering the effects of isolation and poverty.

The post holders will be working with guests in both our Drop-in and in our 4 bed supported house (Hope House), but will take a lead responsibility in one or the other of these projects.

Drop in:

• Welcome and assess first time guests, identifying priority needs.
• Signpost and support guests to access key statutory and voluntary services , including housing, benefits, homelessness services etc
• Provide practical support and advice to guests , for example with application forms, bill enquiries, budgeting
• Identify and action any immediate or emerging safeguarding concerns. Maintain and build links with all relevant partner agencies and multi-agency networks (eg Local Authorities, outreach teams, probation teams, Drug and Alcohol recovery, mental health etc

Hope House:

• Assist in the process of vetting the suitability of potential residents and support them with their transition in/out of Hope House
• Ensure tailored support plans (using Homeless Outcomes Star) are in place for each resident
• Support and ensure ongoing adherence to licence agreements and processes- including issuing warnings, behavioural contracts, rent collection notice papers etc
• Oversee the safe and efficient running of Hope House, taking into account any relevant Supported Housing/ HMO specific requirements
• Complete and record regular inspections of individual rooms and shared spaces, ensuring conditions are maintained to expected standards.
• Ensure required health and safety checks are carried out, including alarm testing and gas servicing

Person Specification :

• Eligibility to Work in the UK – British passport/Birth certificate or visa. We are unable to accept sponsorship applications
• Educated to Level 3 (A-level standard)
• Previous experience working with homeless and other vulnerable people
• Knowledge and appreciation of challenges faced by these people, for example trauma, mental illness, unemployment, addictions

Job Title: Deputy Service Manager

Location: Based within the Non-residential service in Wembley, working within communities, homes, and other residentials.  This service does have step free access.

Salary: £31,700

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday on a rota working 09:00 - 17:00, hours may be extended 08:00 - 18:00. You may also be required to work weekends, evenings, and bank holidays. You will also take part in our out of hours on call rota for managers.

The Marketing & Engagement Officer will support the Head of Commercial Activities and Volunteering and the wider organisation by leading on marketing, communications and community engagement. This role will focus on raising the profile of Age UK Lambeth, increasing awareness of our services, campaigns, and activities, and building stronger connections with our community to grow participation, partnerships, and support.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering marketing campaigns, creating compelling content, managing communications channels, and coordinating engagement initiatives and events. Alongside this, you will play a key role in developing supporter relationships and encouraging charitable giving, helping to increase regular and one-off donations through effective communications and community partnerships.

This is a creative and outward-facing role, requiring strong communication skills, relationship building, and the ability to balance both strategic planning and hands-on delivery.

General Duties

● Run, monitor, and maintain the organisation-wide marketing and promotional calendar to meet service, campaign, and engagement needs.
● Manage and grow all social media channels, following agreed marketing plans to build interest, followers, and engagement.

· Attending all drop-in sessions/holiday activities to be a consistent, trusted presence for young people. Term time drop ins take place Wednesdays 5-7pm. Holiday drop-in sessions take place at different times. (Evening and occasional weekend work will be time taken back in lieu)

Outreach

· Driving RF’s Outreach strategy in order to build and enhance visibility and recognition of RF and connect with young people who could benefit from our support

· Managing referral partner relationships across London (including schools, hospitals, young carer services and others), nurturing existing relationships and building new partnerships

· Organising events that inspire referrals to RF including delivering school assemblies, presenting at meetings and taking other external visits as required

· Analysing referral data to identify opportunities and strategically expand our reach where it's needed most

General

· Collaborating with/supporting the programme team on an adhoc basis as required

· Ensuring safeguarding principles and procedures are always followed to protect the welfare of young people, including identifying, responding and reporting any safeguarding concerns

About the role

We are the UK’s largest independent non-profit investigative newsroom. Our reporting is published by media partners around the world and holds power to account across five areas: environment, health, big tech, dirty money and local power.

This role will initially focus on supporting two of those teams as they deliver journalism that drives real-world change. But it may also support work on new and emerging issues such as the rise of mis- and disinformation and how that affects UK communities. The two teams are:

• Bureau Local: works with communities to uncover hidden stories in the UK. The Bureau Local team has reported on the exploitation of migrant workers, run a community-led project aimed at giving voice to the Trans+ community, and brought transparency to the family courts system through reporting and training.

• Enablers: investigates the lawyers, accountants, and financial structures that allow dirty money to flow through the UK. Their work has prompted major regulatory investigations and legal action, challenging how corruption is facilitated at home and abroad..

Our fundraising

The Bureau is almost entirely funded through grants and donations – without our supporters, we couldn’t do what we do. Over recent years, we’ve grown to a team of 35 people with an annual income of £2.8m, backed by a committed network of trusts, foundations, and individuals.

This is an exciting time to join our fundraising team as we build on those strong relationships and explore new ways to diversify our income.

Role and Responsibilities

• Work with project leads to take their ideas and build a strong case for support, translating complex issues into powerful, accessible narratives for funders.
