Operations Support

• Guide and assist ISEAL staff in using software tools effectively by leading inductions, writing guidance, sharing best practice, providing training and trouble-shooting issues that arise
• Manage IT equipment and liaise with external IT support
• Facilitate internal communications by supporting regular and ad hoc staff meetings
• Work closely with Senior Manager Operations on improvement projects, including leading smaller projects

Member communications

• Support other ISEAL teams to communicate appropriately with members through our different channels and mailing lists, checking for adherence to brand guidelines

About the team

This is a very exciting time to be joining Impetus as we aim to support more young people this year than ever before in our history. We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Team Administrator who is excited by the prospect of working for an ambitious Philanthropy team in a sector leading charity. The Philanthropy team raises income for Impetus and for Impetus partner charities. The team also delivers a high-quality engagement programme of volunteering and pro bono for Impetus’s corporate supporters. About the Role

We are looking for a Cleaner to join our Team.

Our 627 sqm facilities host over 40 members and staff each day, providing a vibrant space for support services, creative projects, and events. As our Cleaner, you will be responsible for the cleaning and general upkeep of the centre and offices of Headway East London. You will play a vital role in maintaining a welcoming, clean, and safe environment for our community. Your work will ensure that our centre is not only a functional space but a place where people feel valued and cared for.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Working with an agency cleaner to perform cleaning duties as per the cleaning schedule, to ensure satisfactory levels of cleanliness throughout the building.

• Contribute towards retaining our 5 Star rating kitchen standards by supporting the kitchen team with post lunch cleaning.

• Work flexibly to support with ad hoc cleaning around out of hours events.

• Update the admin team when supplies of consumables are running low, ensuring that basic supplies are always available.

• Update the Admin and Premises Manager with any observation of health and safety risks and concerns.

• Assist the Admin and Premises Manager to improve and maintain our health and safety standards.

• Secure the building at the end of the day.

The role is full time (36.25 hours per week) permanent and home based with regular visits to stores across Northern Ireland. The ideal candidate should live within this area or a commutable distance.

What You'll Be Doing: 

As Area Business Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall performance of a portfolio of retail stores. Your focus will be on: 

• Maximising sales, profit and income through strategic store management 
• Requirements to visit stores on a regular basis 
• Leading and inspiring store managers to deliver exceptional customer service and strong commercial results 
• Ensuring consistent operational standards across all locations 
• Managing budgets, KPIs, staffing, merchandising and compliance 
• Identifying opportunities to improve performance, grow revenue, and optimise the retail estate 

Previous multi-site retail experience is essential and an understanding of the charity sector preferable but not essential.

   Write and design compelling reports and updates for funders, foundations, and supporters – translating data and stories into powerful narratives.

3. Lead Digital Communications
   Manage HHA’s social media, website, email newsletters, and supporter communications to engage diverse audiences and grow HHA’s reach.

The role is responsible for ensuring the charity operates within a robust governance framework and complies with all relevant statutory, regulatory, and internal requirements. This role requires the ability to operate, and pivot, between subject matter expert, strategic partner, advisor and team member - with hands-on delivery, supporting the Board of Trustees, senior leadership, and staff to embed a culture of good governance, risk awareness, and ethical practice across the charity.

The role line manages a small team (including two administrative assistants), and oversees the use of external experts to provide advice.
